비트 플레인 정합에 의한 디지털 영상 안정화 (Digital image stabilization based on bit-plane matching)

  • 본 논문에서는 비트 플레인 영생(bit-plane image)에서의 정합을 이용하여 디지털 영상 안정화를 수행하는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법에서는 기존의 전역 탐색 알고리즘을 하나의 비트 플레인으로부터 추출한 이진 영상에 적용함으로써 움직임 추정에 소요되는 계산량을 줄이면서도 기존 방식들보다 우수한 웅직임 추정 성능을 갖도록 하였다. 더욱이 제안된 기법은 조도 변화를 고려하여 비트 플레인을 선정하는데 있어서 적응 기법을 적용함으로써 견고한 성능을 갖도록 하였다. Brute-force 방식을 기준으로 RMSE(root mean square error)를 이용하여 제안하는 방식과 기존의 방식들을 비교하였고, 실험 결과에서 제안하는 방식이 카메라의 움직임 벡터를 기존 방식들보다 정확하게 검출하고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 제안하는 방식은 기존 방식들에 비해서 연산량이 작고, 보다 간단한 방식으로 디지털 영상 안정화를 수행하고 있다.

수문학적 예측의 정확도에 따른 저수지 시스템 운영의 민감도 분석 (Sensitivity Analysis for Operation a Reservoir System to Hydrologic Forecast Accuracy)

  • 본 연구는 수력발전을 위한 저수지 관리에 있어 예측오차의 영향을 살펴보기 위해 예측오차를 Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)로 측정하였고, 이를 Generalized Maintenance Of Variance Extension (GMOVE)기법을 통하여 변화시켜보았다.변화된 예측오차의 RMSE는 천이확률을 통하여 Bayesian Stochastic Dynamic Programming (BSDP)에 고려되어졌으며, 이 BSDP 모형을 이용하여 월별 방류량을 결정하였고 그 유용성을 평가하였다. 제시된 연구방법은 미국의 Skagit 시스템에 적용되었고, 그 결과로 Skagit 시스템의 운영은 예측오차의 RMSE에 비선형이므로 반응하므로 이 시스템의 운영을 개선하기 위해서는 현재의 수문학적 예측기법을 개선해야함을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문은 항공엔진이 전 운용범위 및 운용조건에서 성능요구조건을 만족할 수 있도록 설계 및 운용 한계를 설정하는 MEPS 기법에 관한 내용이다. 대기습도, 엔진품질, 추력설정부정확 및 성능감쇠 등의 영향이 산술적으로 반영되는 Direct Adder와 Root Sum Square로 반영되는 Random Adder에 대해 기술하였다. 본 기법을 4,000Ib급의 상용 터보팬 엔진개발에 적용하여, 각 Adder의 영향성을 분석하여 엔진설계 및 운용한계 설정을 위한 MEPS를 구축하였다.

Interfacial Friction Factors for Air-Water Co-current Stratified Flow in Inclined Channels

  • The interfacial shear stress is experimentally investigated for co-current air-water stratified flow in inclined rectangular channels having a length of 1854mm, width of 120mm and height of 40mm at almost atmospheric pressure. Experiments are carried out in several inclinations from $0^{\circ}\;up\;to\;10^{\circ}$. The local film thickness and the wave height are measured at three locations, i.e., L/H = 8,23, and 40. According to the inclination angle, the experimental data are categorized into two groups; nearly horizontal data group ($0^{\circ}\;{\leq}\;{\theta}\;{\leq}\;0.7^{\circ}$), and inclined channel data group ($0.7^{\circ}\;{\leq}\;{\theta}\;{\leq}\;10^{\circ}$). Experimental observations for nearly horizontal data group show that the flow is not fully developed due to the water level gradient and the hydraulic jump within the channel. For the inclined channel data group, a dimensionless wave height, $\Delta$h/h, is empirically correlated in terms of $Re_{G}$ and h/H. A modified root-mean-square wave height is proposed to consider the effects of the interfacial and wave propagation velocities. It is found that an equivalent roughness has a linear relationship with the modified root-mean-square wave height and its relationship is independent of the inclination.

단상 계통연계형 인버터의 SRF-PLL 옵셋 오차로 인한 전류 맥동 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Current Ripple Reduction Due to Offset Error in SRF-PLL for Single-phase Grid-connected Inverters)

  • This paper presents an offset error compensation algorithm for the accurate phase angle of the grid voltage in single-phase grid-connected inverters. The offset error generated from the grid voltage measurement process cause the fundamental harmonic component with grid frequency in the synchronous reference frame phase lock loop (PLL). As a result, the grid angle is distorted and the power quality in power systems is degraded. In addition, the dq-axis currents in the synchronous reference frame and phase current have the dc component, first and second order ripples compared with the grid frequency under the distorted grid angle. In this paper, the effects of the offset and scaling errors are analyzed based on the synchronous reference frame PLL. Particularly, the offset error can be estimated from the integrator output of the synchronous reference frame PLL and compensated by using proportional-integral controller. Moreover, the RMS (Root Mean Square) function is proposed to detect the offset error component. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified through simulation and experiment results.

  • This paper presents the real-time implemented distance relay algorithm which the fault distance is estimated with only local terminal information. When a single-phase-to-earth fault on a two-parallel transmission line occurs, the reach accuracy of distance relay is considerably affected by the unknown variables which are fault resistance, fault current at the fault point and zero- sequence current of sound line The zero-sequence current of sound line is estimated by using the zero sequence voltage which is measured by relaying location Also. the fault resistance is removed at the Process of numerical formula expansion. Lastly, the fault current through a fault point is expressed as a function of the zero-sequence current of fault line, zero-sequence current of sound line, and line, and fault distance. Therefore, the fault phase voltage can be expressed as the quadratic equation of the fault distance. The solution of this Quadratic equation is obtained by using a coefficient of the modified quadratic equation instead of using the square root solution method. After tile accurate fault distance is estimated. the mote accurate impedance is measured by using such an information.

액체로켓 엔진 연소장치의 연소 안정성 평가 기준에 대한 연구 (Study on Standards of Combustion Stability Assessment of Liquid Rocket Engine Combustion Devices)

  • 본 논문은 액체로켓엔진의 구성품인 연소기와 가스발생기의 연소 안정성 평가를 위한 평가 방법과 기준에 관해 서술하였다. 두 가지 평가 방법이 있는데, 첫 번째는 일반적인 정상 연소 시험을 통해 연소 안정성 여부를 판단하는 통계적인 접근 방식을 취하는 정적 평가와 두 번째로는 연소장에 압력 교란을 일으키는 장치를 이용, 생성된 펄스의 감쇠 특성을 파악하는 동적 평가가 있다. 누적된 실제 추진제 연소 시험 결과를 통해서 정적 평가의 안정성 여부는 Root-Mean-Square 값이 연소실 압력의 3%, 동적 안정성 여부는 가진된 압력 섭동의 감쇠시간이 10 msec로 기준을 설정하였다.

간호시뮬레이션 학습자의 간호역량에 관한 구조모형 (A Structural Model on the Nursing Competencies of Nursing Simulation Learners)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test a model of nursing competencies of nursing simulation learners. The conceptual model was based on the theory of Jeffries's simulaton theory. Methods: Data collection was conducted in October 2017 for 310 students from two nursing universities in Kyungbuk area for 20 days. Data analysis methods were covariance structure analysis using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical programs. Results: The hypothetical model was a good fit for the data. The model fit indices were comparative fit index=.97, normed fit index=.94, Tucker-Lewis Index=.97, root mean square error of approximation=.44, and standardized root mean square residual=.04. Teacher factors were directly related to simulation design characteristics, and it was confirmed that the curriculum, classroom operation and teaching method of the instructors were important factors. Learner factors were found to have a direct effect on nursing competence, self-confidence, and clinical performance that belong to nursing capacity. In particular, the results of this study indicate that the simulation design characteristics have a partial mediating effect on learner factors and clinical performance, and a complete mediating effect on learner factors and clinical judgment ability. Conclusion: In order to improve the learner's clinical performance and clinical judgment ability, it is necessary to conduct practical training through nursing simulation besides preparing the learner and the educator.

Characterization of Aroma Components in Barley Bran Sauce Using Statistical Analysis

  • A linear correlation was found by stepwise multiple regression analysis between the sensory score of barley bran sauce aroma and the absolute gas chromatogram (GC) data transformed with square root. In spite of highly significant relationship between the quantity of the peak and the sensory score, it is difficult to estimate the aroma quality of barley bran sauce samples on the basis of only one peak. Peak 29 (methyl 9,12,15-octadecatrienoate) contributed most to the aroma of barley bran sauce. This was followed by 27 (methyl 9,12-octadecadienoate), 28 (ethyl 9,12-octadecadienoate), 12 (phenyl acetaldehyde), and 9 (methyl furfural) in terms of absolute value. When it was calculated using absolute value transformed by square root, peak 28 (ethyl 9,12-octadecadienoate) made the highest contribution to the aroma of barley bran sauce of among the peaks. It was followed by 31 (9,12-octadecadienoic acid), 27 (methyl 9,12-octadecadienoate), 12 (phenyl acetaldehyde), and 29 (methyl 9,12,15-octadecatrienoate).

농업기상 결측치 보정을 위한 통계적 시공간모형 (A Missing Value Replacement Method for Agricultural Meteorological Data Using Bayesian Spatio-Temporal Model)

  • Agricultural meteorological information is an important resource that affects farmers' income, food security, and agricultural conditions. Thus, such data are used in various fields that are responsible for planning, enforcing, and evaluating agricultural policies. The meteorological information obtained from automatic weather observation systems operated by rural development agencies contains missing values owing to temporary mechanical or communication deficiencies. It is known that missing values lead to reduction in the reliability and validity of the model. In this study, the hierarchical Bayesian spatio-temporal model suggests replacements for missing values because the meteorological information includes spatio-temporal correlation. The prior distribution is very important in the Bayesian approach. However, we found a problem where the spatial decay parameter was not converged through the trace plot. A suitable spatial decay parameter, estimated on the bias of root-mean-square error (RMSE), which was determined to be the difference between the predicted and observed values. The latitude, longitude, and altitude were considered as covariates. The estimated spatial decay parameters were 0.041 and 0.039, for the spatio-temporal model with latitude and longitude and for latitude, longitude, and altitude, respectively. The posterior distributions were stable after the spatial decay parameter was fixed. root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), and bias were calculated for model validation. Finally, the missing values were generated using the independent Gaussian process model.
