보조동력장치 비상연료 시험 (Auxiliary Power Unit Emergency Fuel Test)

  • 항공기에 사용되는 보조동력장치는 주연료(JP-8) 뿐 아니라 비상시 운용을 위하여 규정된 비상연료를 사용하여 운용이 가능하여야 한다. 이러한 요구조건을 입증하기 위하여 상용 디젤유에 대하여 비상연료 시험을 수행하였다. 디젤유의 경우, 시험 전, 후 부하조건에 따른 비연료소모율의 차이는 3.5%~7.8%로 요구조건을 만족하였다. 주연료와 비교하여 디젤유 적용에 따른 시동특성은 유사하였다. 비연료소모율은 부하조건의 변화에 따라 주연료 대비 2.0%~3.4%의 차이가 발생하였다.

Repetitive Control with Specific Harmonic Gain Compensation for Cascaded Inverters under Rectifier Loads

  • The further improvement of submarine propulsion is associated with the modularity of accumulator-fed inverters, such as cascaded inverters (CIs). CI technology guarantees smooth output voltages with reduced switch frequencies under linear loads. However, the output voltages of CIs are distorted under rectifier loads. This distortion requires harmonic suppression technology. One such technology is the repetitive controller (RC), which is commonly applied but suffers from poor performance in propulsion systems. In this study, the FFT spectrum of a CI under rectifier load is analyzed, and the harmonic contents are uneven in magnitude. For the purpose of harmonic suppression, the control gains at each harmonic frequency should be seriously considered. A RC with a specific harmonic gain compensation (SHGC) for CIs is proposed. This method provides additional control gains at low-order harmonic frequencies, which are difficult to achieve with conventional RCs. This SHGC consists of a band-pass filter (BPF) and proportional element and is easy to implement. These features make the proposed method suitable for submarine propulsion. Experimental results verify the feasibility of the improved RC.

대릉(大陵)(PC7) 침자가 뇌파에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Acupuncture at PC7(Daereung) on EEG in Normal Human Subject)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to examine the effects of acupuncture at PC7(Daereung) on normal human EEG using power spectral analysis. Methods : EEG power spectrum exhibits site-specific and state-related differences in specific frequency bands. In this study, power spectrum was used as a measure of complexity. 30 subjects (16 males and 14 females; averaged age = 23.4 years) were engaged with thirty channel EEG study. Results : In $\alpha$(alpha) band, the power values at Fp1, Fp2, F7, F8 channels(p<0.05) during PC7 treatment were significantly decreased. But, the power values at Fz channel(p<0.05) during non-acupoint treatment was significantly decreased. In $\beta$(beta) band, the power values at Fp1, Fp2 channels(p<0.05) during PC7 treatment were significantly decreased. But, the power values at Fz channel(p<0.05) during non-acupoint treatment was significantly decreased and at F8, TCP2 channels(p<0.05) during non-acupoint treatment were increased. In $\theta$(theta) band, the power values at Fp1, Fp2, F7, F8 channels(p<0.05) during PC7 treatment were significantly decreased. But, the power values at Fz channel(p<0.05) during non-acupoint treatment was significantly decreased. In $\delta$(delta) band, the power values at Fp1, Fp2, F7, Fz, F8 channels (p<0.05) during PC7 treatment were significantly decreased. But, the power values at Fz channel (p<0.05) during non-acupoint treatment was significantly decreased. $\alpha/\beta$ values during PC7 treatment were decreased. $\beta/\theta$ values during PC7 treatment were decreased. Conclusion : These results suggest that acupuncture at PC7 induce the change on $\alpha$(alpha), $\beta$(beta), $\theta$ (theta), $\delta$(delta) wave values being decreased and and bothe $\alpha/\beta$ and $\beta/\theta$ values being decreased respectively. This is considered that acupuncture at PC7 affects the activity of cerebral cortex and endocrine system.

SoC 구현을 위한 안정적인 Power Plan 기법 (Stable Power Plan Technique for Implementing SoC)

  • ASIC(application specific integrated circuit) 과정은 칩을 제작하기 위한 다양한 기술들의 집합이다. 일반적으로 RTL 설계, 합성, 배치 및 배선, 저전력 기법, 클록 트리 합성, 및 테스트와 같은 대표적인 과정들에 대해서는 많은 연구가 진행 되었고, 지금도 많은 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 ASIC 방법론에서 전력 플랜과 관련하여 경험적이고 실험적인 전력 스트랩 배선(power strap routing) 방법 기법에 대해서 제안하고자 한다. 먼저 수직 VDD 및 VSS와 수평 VDD 및 VSS를 위한 스트랩의 배선을 수행하고, 이 과정에서 발생하는 문제를 해결하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 배선 가이드를 생성해서 의도하지 않는 배선을 방지하고, 차후를 위해서 배선 가이드에 대한 정보를 저장한다. 다음으로 불필요한 전력 스트랩을 제거하고, 매크로 핀에 대해 미리 배선을 수행한다. 마지막으로 배선 가이드를 이용하여 최종적인 전력 스트랩 배선을 완료한다. 이러한 과정을 통해서 전력 스트랩이 효율적으로 배선되는 것을 확인하였다.

Labview 소프트웨어를 활용한 파이프 절단 파워 측정 및 검증 (Measurement and verification of pipe cutting power using Labview software)

  • 절단 파워 예측은 가공 툴 또는 공작기계의 최적 설계를 가능하게 하므로 기술 개발에 소요되는 시간과 비용을 줄일 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 정확한 절단파워 예측은 설계과정에서 매우 중요한 부분이다. 본 연구에서는 파이프 절단 파워를 이론적으로 예측하고 실험을 통해 검증한다. 우선, slotting 절단 파워 계산식을 사용하여 파이프의 절단 파워를 예측한다. 다음으로 파이프 절단기로 파이프를 절단하는 실험을 진행하며, 파이프를 절단하는 동안 모터에서 소비하는 파워를 embedded 소프트웨어인 Labview로 측정한다. 그리고 이론으로 계산한 절단파워와 실험으로 측정한 절단파워를 비교하여 정확성을 검증한다. 본 연구에서 사용한 파이프의 재질은 SUS304와 AL6N01이다. 그리고 본 연구에서는 실험을 통해 AL6N01 재질의 specific power 값을 구하였으며 추후 이 재질의 절단 및 절삭파워를 예측하고 최적의 가공기 및 툴을 설계하는데 이 값을 활용할 수 있다.

In ${\theta}$(theta) band, the power values at Fp1 channels(p<0.05) during the non-acupoint treatment and at Oz channels(p<0.05) the TE5-acupoint treatment significantly were increased. but, the power values at F7 channels(p<0.05) during the non-acupoint treatment were significantly were decreased. In ${\delta}$(delta) band, the power values at TCP1, TCP2, CP1, T5 channels(p<0.05) during PC6-acupoint treatment were increased and the power values at F7, TT2 channels(p<0.05) during non-acupoint treatment were increased. but, the power values at the TE5-acupoint treatment significantly was decreased than the before-acupuncture treatment.

Extended Trench Gate Superjunction Lateral Power MOSFET for Ultra-Low Specific on-Resistance and High Breakdown Voltage

  • In this paper, a lateral power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor with ultra-low specific on-resistance is proposed to be applied to a high-voltage (up to 200 V) integrated chip. The proposed structure has two characteristics. Firstly, a high level of drift doping concentration can be kept because a tilt-implanted p-drift layer assists in the full depletion of the n-drift region. Secondly, charge imbalance is avoided by an extended trench gate, which suppresses the trench corner effect occurring in the n-drift region and helps achieve a high breakdown voltage (BV). Compared to a conventional trench gate, the simulation result shows a 37.5% decrease in $R_{on.sp}$ and a 16% improvement in BV.

  • In this paper, some optical parameters which have effects on the measuring precision and sensitivity of optical current sensor are analyzed. Each parameter occurs changes of specific characteristics of optical sensor system. The influences of performance and characteristics variation of optical current sensor are described in accordance with the changes of optical output power, optical bias point which is called phase difference, and a specific constant related to sensor material and wavelength of light source.

A plant-specific HRA sensitivity analysis considering dynamic operator actions and accident management actions

  • The human reliability analysis is a method by which, in general terms, the human impact to the safety and risk of a nuclear power plant operation can be modelled, quantified and analysed. It is an indispensable element of the PSA process within the nuclear industry nowadays. The paper herein presents a sensitivity study of the human reliability analysis performed on a real nuclear power plant-specific probabilistic safety assessment model. The analysis is performed on a pre-selected set of post-initiator operator actions. The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of these operator actions on the plant risk by altering their corresponding human error probabilities in a wide spectrum. The results direct the fact that the future effort should be focused on maintaining the current human reliability level, i.e. not letting it worsen, rather than improving it.

풍속자료 분석을 통한 풍차 출력의 최적화 (Optimization of Wind Turbine Output through the analysis of Wind Data)

  • This paper deals with analytical methods for estimating the optimal design parameters of wind turbine from power output curve. Asmussen [5] has been used a linearized power output curve for an analytical expression for the specific output of wind turbine generators, but a nonlinear power output curve is developed to determine the design parameters of optimal wind turbine in this study that has maximum specific output and minimum swept area. Thus, the design results of this research will yield reliabilities in construction of wind turbine system and detailed results are presented for several district in Korea. Although the results presented pertain to a wind turbine system without storage, the design approach is equally applicable to system with storage.
