금속재 흡음형 방음벽의 안전 시험 규정 분석 연구 (A Study on the Safety Test Regulation for the Metallic Sound Barrier of the Absorption Type)

  • 발파, 항타와 같은 소원음이 존재하는 건설현장에서의 소음저감대책으로는, 소음원 또는 수음점에 방음벽을 설치하여 전파되는 소음을 차단하는 것이 가장 경제적인 경우가 대부분이다. 이러한 방음벽은 소음설계와 구조설계를 통해 그 규모가 결정되며, 방음벽의 구조적 안전을 보장하기 위해서는 KS F4770에 의한 방음판의 구조적 품질이 보장되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이 중 금속재 흡음형 방음벽 관련 규정인 F4770-1 - 2001을 분석하여, 그 문제점을 지적하고, 수정 또는 개선 사항을 제시하였다. 분석결과, 보다 경제적인 방음벽의 설치를 위하여 하중의 세분화와 함께 시험방법의 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 함께 독일의 방음벽 설계시 사용되는 규정인 ZTV-Lsw 88과 비교, 검토하였으며, 검토 결과, 한국 규정은 독일규정에 비해, 보수적인 것으로 나타났다.

방음벽 종류별 반사음 저감효과 및 회절효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Reduction Effect of Reflected Sound and Diffraction Effect by Types of Noise Barrier)

  • This study is to suggest the improved noise barrier which is harmonized with surrounding landscape and maintained the similar reduction of reflected sound and diffraction effects in comparison with the aluminum noise barrier of absorbing type which is formed a great majority in Korea. In this study the two improved models of noise barrier(Diffuse and Disperse type) were designed and compared with the noise barriers of absorbing type in the acoustics performance (the reduction of reflected sound and diffraction effects) through the field and full-scale experimental measurement. As these two models have the same acoustic performance as the noise barrier of aluminum absorbing type, it is suggested that these models can be applied to the improved noise barrier as an alteration of aluminum absorbing type barrier.

  • The acoustical performance of noise reducing devices installed on the top of a noise barrier were tested by small-scale outdoor tests. Noise measurements before and after installation of the devices were carried out using sound intensity methods. It is well known that the sound intensity method can specify the strength and directivity of sound, and it is convenient to consider the feature of sound around a noise barrier. The noise reduction effect of each edge device was evaluated using the difference between the input and output sound power levels calculated from sound intensities. It was investigated that each device had different efficiency in the shadow zone, while there was no significant difference between edge devices in the illuminated zone.

  • 포 사격 시에는 폭풍파 형태로 전파되는 과도한 수준의 충격소음이 발생한다. 포 사격 충격음은 주위 구조물의 안정성에도 영향을 미치게 되므로 아군의 포 사격으로 피해를 받지 않으려면 포와 구조물은 적정거리를 이격시켜야 한다. 그러나 이미 적정거리 이하로 건축되어 있는 경우에는 포와 구조물 사이에 방음벽을 세워 피해를 방지할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 포와 구조물의 적정 이격거리를 산출하였으며, 경계요소법(Boundary Element Method)을 활용하여 방음벽의 다양한 높이와 형태에 의한 삽입손실을 시뮬레이션하였고 최적의 방음벽을 선정하였다.

  • Noise barrier is used to reduce traffic noise. The effect of a noise barrier depends not only on the materials, but also on the physical properties such as density, height and degree of absorption, etc. Typical absorptive noise barrier is used sound absorbing material, such as glass wool and mineral wool. The goal of this study is to develope excellent absorptive noise barrier using a polyester. Laboratory measurements were peformed with various thicknesses, density and layer of absorber in a reverberation room.

  • Various shapes of the noise barrier frame and construction of the sound absorbing panels are studied. It is found that insertion of the sound absorbing panel into barrier frame results in the decrease of the sound absorption coefficient, while the empty frame shows a peak around 250Hz. Using double sound absorbing panels with air gap can increase sound absorption coefficient up to NRC 0.85.

Vehicle-induced aerodynamic loads on highway sound barriers part1: field experiment

  • The vehicle-induced aerodynamic loads bring vibrations to some of the highway sound barriers, for they are designed in consideration of natural wind loads only. A field experiment is carried out with respect to three important factors: vehicle type, vehicle speed and the vehicle-barrier separation distance. Based on the results, the time-history of pressures is given, showing identical characteristics in all cases. Therefore, the vehicle-induced aerodynamic loads acting on the highway sound barrier are summarized as the combination of "head impact" and "wake impact". The head impact appears to have potential features, while the wake impact is influenced by the rotational flow. Then parameters in the experiment are analyzed, showing that the head impact varies with vehicle speed, vehicle-barrier separation distance, vehicle shape and cross-sectional area, while the wake impact is mainly about vehicle-barrier separation distance and vehicle length.

단일수치 평가방법에 따른 방음벽의 흡음성능 고찰 (Sound Absorption Performance of Noise Barrier According to Single Number Rating Methods)

  • In this study, single number rating methods of sound absorption coefficients are discussed. After that the sound absorption performance of noise barriers which are classified by Korea Standard are analyzed according to several standards. The existing rating methods such as NRC (noise reduction coefficient), SAA (sound absorption average) or ${\alpha}_w$ (weighted sound absorption coefficient) from ASTM C423, KS F 3505 and ISO 11654 are introduced. The sound absorption performance of noise barrier is evaluated to compare NRC and ${\alpha}_w$ value. When the value is over 0.6 there are large variance between NRC and ${\alpha}_w$ value. As results, it is needed to unify single number rating methods of sound absorption coefficients for Korean standards on sound absorbing materials.

학교부지의 방음벽 설계를 위한 소음지도 해석 (Noise Map Analysis for the Design of Noise Barrier at School Site)

  • 소음지도 모의시험을 이용하여 학교부지의 소음저감을 위한 방음벽 설계에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 해석모델은 학교부지의 지형적 특성에 따른 감쇠와 소음전파 경로상의 건축물에 의한 회절 감쇠 효과를 고려하여 모델링하고, 주요 소음원인 고속도로의 음향파워레벨은 학교부지의 지점에서 측정한 소음도를 기준으로 평가하였다. 방음벽 효과분석을 위한 소음지도 모의시험은 ISO 9613 규격을 기반으로 하는 환경소음 예측프로그램 ENPro를 이용하여 수행하였다. 모의시험의 결과로부터 소음환경기준을 만족하는 방음대책을 수립하고, 비용과 안전을 고려한 방음벽을 설계하였다.

  • It seems inevitable for residential buildings to be high-rise and allocated near traffic roads due to the overcrowding in urban area. Acoustic environment in those area has been seriously deteriorated by the increase of traffic vehicles. Commonly used sound barriers have a limitation in controlling noise due to diffraction noise of sound barrier. Hence sound barrier is not effective to attenuate noise especially for the residential units in high level. This work aims at evaluating noise reduction according to the tunnel section shape by using 1/5 scale model. We carried out a number of field measurements for 1/5 scale model of Noise Barrier Tunnel with various sectional shape. The results from predictions and the measurement show generally good agreement.
