사회복지시설 간호사의 역할기대, 역할수행, 역할갈등에 관한 연구 (Role Expectation, Role Performance, and Role Conflict among Nurses Working in Social Welfare Facilities)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the perceptions of nurses regarding their roles in social welfare facilities, including role expectation, role performance, and role conflict and its influencing factors. Methods: Data were collected by administering a structured questionnaire to 92 nurses working in 5 types of social welfare facilities. Descriptive statistics, paired t test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analyses were performed using the SPSS Win 18.0 program. Results: The mean score of role expectation ($4.44{\pm}0.41$) was significantly higher(t =17.50, p<.001) than that of role performance ($3.46{\pm}0.005$). The biggest mean difference between role expectation and role performance was found in "research activities" ($2.92{\pm}0.81$). The mean score of role conflict was $2.89{\pm}0.66$, with the highest mean score found in "conflict caused when one nurse takes up two or more roles" ($3.31{\pm}0.69$). The influencing factors on role conflict were the difference between role expectation and role performance(${\beta}=.45$, p<.001), and facility size (${\beta}=-.37$, p<.001), which accounts for 51.5% incidence of role conflict controlling nurses' age, career, position, and working periods in social welfare facilities (F=17.13, p<.001). Conclusion: The nurses working in the social welfare facilities perceived some restrictions on their role performance compared with their role expectation, this difference being a major factor influencing their role conflict. Therefore, future studies need to investigate interventions to minimize this effect.

  • The main purpose of this study is to seek better approach which explains reciprocal causality associated with factors causing social conflict and improving social integration respectively. Throughout this study, there are several important implications how social conflict can be solved in South Korea. In particular, government and policy makers in political sector should create an environment of social integration through political reforms by switching from vertical structure to horizontal structure and by encouraging ordinary people to actively participate in the policy-making processes and political activities. In economic sector, government and stakeholder associated with a certain economic issue should induce a change in the economic environment for social integration, focusing on distribution of wealth and employment stability. In social and cultural sectors, it is necessary to solve social and cultural problems (e.g., generation gap and conflict between the young and the old, multi-ethnic families, and lack of communication) by exploring better ways to establish an altruism and to interact with each other. In psychological sectors, PsyCap(Positive Psychological Capital) will help ordinary people to crate positive thinking and lead to social integration. For instance, political leaders having PsyCap are able to communicate with the people and can help the people to build positive main influencing on social integration. Finally, the improvement of the system is required because the improvement of insufficient system is the basis for reasonable and equitable social integration.

또래갈등상황에서의 유아의 전략, 사회적 행동특성, 그리고 또래수용도와의 관계 (Children's Strategies in Peer Conflict Situations : Relationships with Social Behavior and Peer Acceptance)

  • This study investigated the relations among children's strategies in peer conflict situations, social behavior and children's peer acceptance. Eighty-seven kindergarteners were asked about their strategies in response to 8 hypothetical peer conflict situations. Classroom teachers completed the social behavior rating scale to evaluate children's behavioral characteristics. Children's peer acceptance was measured by peer acceptance rating scale. Results indicated that children's strategies for responding to peer conflicts and their social behavior correlated with peer acceptance, although the linkages were different for boys and girls. Furthermore, children's strategies correlated with their social behavior.

가족환경, 어머니의 사회심리적 역량과 아동의 사회적 역량간의 관계 (The Relation Between Family Environment, Mother's Psychosocial Competence And Children's Social Competence.)

  • The Purpose of this study was to examine the predictive capacity of mother's perception of the family environment (cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, mother's psychosocial competence) for children's social competence. The hypotheses of this reserch were 1) There will be significant positive relationships among mother's cohesion, expressiveness, and mother's psychosocial competence. 2) There will be significant negative relationships between mother's conflict and measures of children's social competence. 3) There will not be a significant relationships between SES and measures of children's social competence. 4) There will be significant relationships between children's gender and measures of children's social competence. The subjects of this study were 133 family of mother-child. The period of research was from Aug. 20, 1990 to Feb. 29, 1992. Correlations, t-test, F-test, and multiple regression analyses were conducted to determine the relationships among variables and measures of total sample, daughter sample, and son sample. The results of this study appeared as follow: 1. Family environment (cohesion, expressiveness, and conflict) and mother's psychosocial competence were related to children's social competence. 2. There were negative relationship between mother's conflict and daughter's social competence. 3. Daughters had the higher social competence than sons. 4. Socioeconomic status(perceived by mother) of family was not related to children's social competence. 5. Sociodemographic variables affecting to children's competence were mother's school career, mother's age, mother's religion.

가족갈등, 사회적지지 및 자아존중감이 노인의 생활만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Family Conflict, Social Support and Self-Esteem on Life Satisfaction of the Aged)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 가족갈등과 사회적 지지 및 자아존중감이 노인의 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 2014년 제9차 자료를 활용하였으며, 생활만족도에 관련된 변인들의 특성과 상관관계 및 위계적 회귀분석 등을 검증하기 위해, SPSS WIN 20.0프로그램을 사용했다. 조사대상자는 65세 이상 85세 미만 노인 중 사회적 지지 문항에 응답한 296명을 추출하였고, 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족갈등이 노인의 생활만족도에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는데 반해, 사회적 지지는 생활 만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감은 노인 생활 만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 독립변수 중 자아존중감이 생활만족도에 가장 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 가족갈등을 완화하고, 사회적 지지와 자아존중감을 제고할 수 있는 프로그램 개발과 정책지원의 필요성이 제시되었다.

  • 오늘날 사회적 다양성이 높아짐에 따라 정책결정을 둘러싼 정부간, 사회집단 간 갈등 역시 증가하고 있으며, 이러한 갈등은 사회발전을 저해하는 요소일 뿐만 아니라 이를 해결하는 과정에서 발생하는 사회적 비용이 매우 크다는 점에서 문제를 발생하고 있다. 따라서 사회적 갈등을 최소화하고 합리적인 의사결정을 도출해낼 수 있는 어떤 의사결정 조정기제가 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 새만금 간척사업 사례와 영월댐 사례의 비교를 통하여 갈등의 원인과 관련하여 각 이해당사자들의 별도 인식 프레이밍이 상호 어떻게 형성, 대립되고 조정되는지, 그리고 이 과정이 어떻게 갈등에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다.

사회복지사 개인간 갈등 형성요인에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 사회복지 조직 중 부산 지역사회복지관이라는 조직 내에서 사회복지사들의 개인간 갈등수준이 어느 정도로 지각되는지를 규명하고 이에 대한 영향요인들을 조사하여 체계적이고 효과적인 조직관리를 위한 기초자료를 제시하는데 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 갈등의 상호주의적 관점에서 갈등수준이 지나치게 높거나 낮을 경우 조직의 유효성이 역기능적이라고 하였으나 지역사회복지관에서 근무하는 사회복지사들의 개인간 갈등수준 정도는 비교적 낮은 수준이었다. 둘째, 인구사회학적 요인을 통제하고 갈등요인들이 갈등수준에 대해 미치는 영향력은 의사소통 요인, 리더십 요인중에서 리더의 유인성, 퍼스낼리티중 자발성, 자신감의 순으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 기업 및 산업 조직과 같은 기술 관료적인 조직의 경우와는 틀리게 사회복지조직을 포함하는 휴먼서비스 조직의 경우는 조직의 원료가 도덕적 가치를 부여받은 인간으로 구성되어 있기 때문에 이러한 기술 관료적인 패러다임이 그대로 적용되지 않음을 갈등관리전략의 전제로 두어야 한다는 것이다. 그리고 지역사회복지관 내에서 개인간 갈등의 수준을 낮추기 위해서는 동료간 의사소통이나 합리적인 문제해결방법의 습득 린 건전한 인간관계 형성을 위한 교육, 훈련의 기회가 마련되어야 할 것이다. 효과적인 수퍼비전과 상담(상사와의 상담, 또래 동료와의 상담)을 제공뿐만 아니라 전문가로서의 자신감과 긍지를 지니고 일을 할 수 있도록 전문적 지식과 기술을 재충전할 수 있는 전문적 교육프로 그램이 필요할 것이다.

농촌지도사의 역할갈등에 대한 이론적 탐색 (A Theoretical Exploration on Agricultural Extension Workers' Role Conflict)

  • The objectives of this study were to explore theoretically the factors that were associated with role conflict of rural extension educators, to investigate the consequences of this conflict, and to suggest possible solutions to the role conflict. This study was carried out through literature review. The findings from this study were as follows : 1) The causes of role conflict were divided into individual characteristics and social or organizational characteristics. Existing research papers examining the cause of rural extension educators' role conflict had focused mainly on individual characteristics. Therefore, social characteristics of the role conflict should be included in future research activities. 2) The consequences of role conflict were made up of individual dimensions and organizational dimensions. However, pervious researches on rural extension educators' role conflict had dealt with the individual dimensions only. Therefore, the consequences of organizational dimensions should be added to future researches. 3) Revision of roles and job specifications, developing professional competencies, and raising achievement motivation were some of the possible solutions to rural extension educators' role conflict. These solutions, if managed effectively, may improve the performance of extension organizations, as well as that of the individuals by solving the role conflict of rural extension educators.

지역 정신보건센터에 등록된 조현병 환자의 삶의 질 및 관련 정신사회적 요인 (The Quality of Life and Related Psychosocial Factors of Schizophrenia Patients Registered in Community Mental Health Center)

  • Objectives This study aimed to identify the relationship between quality of life (QoL) and psychosocial factors of schizophrenia patients registered in a community mental health center. Methods The ninety patients with schizophrenia, diagnosed by Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-Fourth Edition-Text Revision, registered in a community mental health center were studied cross-sectionally. Four trained personnels interviewed each subject individually for the assessment of QoL, psychopathology, severity of depressed mood, insight of illness, attitude toward drugs, social function, degree of social supports and conflicts. Results QoL was significantly related to the psychopathology, depressed mood, social conflict, social support; and other aspects of QoL were slightly differently related to depressed mood, social conflict, social support and attitude toward drug by scales. In multiple regression analysis, depressed mood (20.0%) and social conflict (10.3%) were contributed to QoL assessed by Korean version of 4th revision of Schizophrenia Quality of Life. Social support (21.4%), social conflict (20.9%) and depressed mood (3.1%) were contributed to QoL assessed by Korean modification of the Scale to measure Subjective Well-being under Neuroleptic treatment. Conclusions These findings demonstrated that QoL of schizophrenia patients in a community is affected by depressed mood, social support and conflict rather than psychotic symptoms, insight and attitude toward drugs. And this result suggests the necessity of approaching not only to the psychotic symptoms but also to the psychosocial characteristics in caring schizophrenia patients in the community.

중년 성인의 생활스트레스, 자아존중감, 사회적지지가 부부갈등대처에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Life Stress, Self-esteem, Social Support on Marital Conflict Coping in Middle-aged Adults)

  • 본 연구는 일 지역 중년 성인의 생활스트레스, 자아존중감 및 사회적지지가 부부갈등대처에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구의 자료수집 기간은 2019년 4월부터 2019년 7월까지이며, 연구 대상자는 J시에 거주하고 있는 중년 성인 324명을 대상으로 하였다. 통계는 SPSS/WIN 24.0을 이용하여 빈도 분석, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, Multiple regression analysis를 사용하였다. 일 지역 중년 성인의 부부갈등대처에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 대상자의 생활스트레스와 자아존중감은 부정적 부부갈등대처에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고 설명력은 10.%이었다. 또한, 대상자의 자아존중감과 사회적지지는 긍정적 부부갈등대처에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고 설명력은 20%이었다. 즉, 생활스트레스가 많고, 사회적지지 정도가 낮을수록 부정적 부부갈등대처 행동이 많고, 사회적지지 정도가 높을수록 긍정적 부부갈등대처 행동을 많이 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이를 토대로 중년 성인이 부부생활을 하는 동안 발생하는 갈등상황에서 부정적 갈등대처행동을 지양하고 긍정적 갈등대처행동을 지향할 수 있도록 부부가 함께하는 참여할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 개발하고 적용할 필요가 있다.
