열전형변환기를 이용한 인버터 전압전류의 계측 (Voltage and current measurements of inverter using thermal converter)

  • This measurement method described in this paper can be applied for the accurate determination for voltage and current of inverter with harmonics. The method, based on a thermal principle, relies on adaptation of the measurement thermal e.m.f to signal of inverter and comparison of AC to DC signals. The performance of the measurement system is compared with calculated results and reference power system. With this method, an accuracy of 0.1% can be achieved.

  • The goal of this research is the real-time implementation of an AEC (Acoustic Echo Canceller) using the floating-point digital signal processor of TMS320C31. We employ an FIR-type adaptive filter with the conventional NLMS (Normalized Least Mean Square) algorithm for the adaptation of filter coefficients. We program and optimize the system in the assembler level to make it run in real-time. With 8 kHz sampling rate, the implemented AEC requires $46\;\mu$sec and $77\;\mu$sec computational time per sample for 128-and 256-tap filter, respectively. It corresponds to 37% and 62% of maximum computational ability of TMS320C31 DSP.

자기구성 신경회로망을 이용한 면삭밀링에서의 공구파단검출 (Tool Breakage Detection in Face Milling Using a Self Organized Neural Network)

  • This study introduces a new tool breakage detecting technology comprised of an unsupervised neural network combined with adaptive time series autoregressive(AR) model where parameters are estimated recursively at each sampling instant using a parameter adaptation algorithm based on an RLS(Recursive Least Square). Experiment indicates that AR parameters are good features for tool breakage, therefore it can be detected by tracking the evolution of the AR parameters during milling process. an ART 2(Adaptive Resonance Theory 2) neural network is used for clustering of tool states using these parameters and the network is capable of self organizing without supervised learning. This system operates successfully under the wide range of cutting conditions without a priori knowledge of the process, with fast monitoring time.

  • Cells cope with diverse intrinsic and extrinsic stimuli in order to make adaptations for survival. The epigenetic landscape plays a crucial role in cellular adaptation, as it integrates the information generated from stimuli. Signaling pathways induced by stimuli communicate with chromatin to change the epigenetic landscape through regulation of epigenetic modifiers. Metabolic dynamics altered by these stimuli also affect the activity of epigenetic modifiers. Here, I review the current understanding of epigenetic regulation via signaling and metabolic pathways. In addition, I will discuss possible ways to achieve specificity of epigenetic modifications through the cooperation of stimuli-induced signal transduction and metabolic reprogramming.

제어 성능 향상을 위한 Modified Co-FXLMS 알고리즘의 제안

  • The Correlation FXLMS (Co-FXLMS) algorithm was developed to improve the control performance. The Co-FXLMS algorithm is realized by using an estimate of the cross correlation between the adaptation error and the filtered input signal to control the step size. In this paper, the performance of the Modified Co-FXLMS is presented in comparison with that of the CO-FXLMS algorithm. Simulation results show that active noise control using Modified Co-FXLMS is effective to control performance of algorithm and prevent divergence.

  • This paper deals with the robustness of a direct adaptive pole-placement control algorithm for continuous time plants with unmodeled dynamics. In this paper, least squares method is used for controller parameter adaptation and covariance matrix update equation is modified by normalizing signal to guarantee the boundedness of all signals in the closed loop system. In the proposed algorithm, no a priori knowledge is required and it is shown that persistence of excitation condition is required to ensure the stability of the closed loop system.

  • 본 논문에서는 기준신호와 응답의 편차를 억제하기 위해서 이용하는 적분기와 직류전동기를 본드그래프로 구성하여 직류전동기의 속도 제어계에서 관성이나 외란 그리고 부하변동에 의한 파라미터나 응답변동에 대해서 높은 적응성을 갖는 모델추종형 servo 제어기를 본드그래프로 설계하였으며 이 본드그래프 모델링기법이 제어기의 동작 해석 및 설계에 유효함을 확인하였다.

  • IEEE 802.11 무선 MAC 표준은 물리 계층에서 Multirate를 제공하며. 이를 이용하기 위한 다양한 Rate adaptation 알고리즘들이 제안되었다. 일반적으로 애드 혹 무선 망은 802.11의 MAC을 기반으로 하므로 Multirate를 고려할 필요가 있다. Multirate을 지원하는 상황에서 높은 Data Rate로 통신을 할 경우, 그에 따른 높은 SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) Threshold가 요구되므로. 기존의 RTS/CTS로는 해결할 수 없는 심각한 Hidden Terminal 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 Multirate를 지원하는 애드 혹 무선 망에서의 Hidden Terminal 문제를 분석하고 분석의 수치결과를 제시한다. 또한. Hidden Terminal 문제를 해결하기 위한 새로운 방안을 제안한다.

Lyapunov Based Adaptive-Robust Control of the Non-Minimum phase DC-DC Converters Using Input-Output Linearization

  • In this research, a combined adaptive-robust current controller is developed for non-minimum-phase DC-DC converters in a wide range of operations. In the proposed nonlinear controller, load resistance, input voltage and zero interval of the inductor current are estimated using developed adaptation rules and knowing the operating mode of the converter for the closed-loop control is not required; hence, a single controller can be employed for a wide load and line changes in discontinuous and continuous conduction operations. Using the TMS320F2810 digital signal processor, the experimental response of the proposed controller is presented in different operating points of the buck/boost converter. During transition between different modes of the converter, the developed controller has a better dynamic response compared with previously reported adaptive nonlinear approach. Moreover, output voltage steady-state error is zero in different conditions.

FPGA Based PWM Generator for Three-phase Multilevel Inverter

  • This paper deals with the implementation on a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) of PWM switching patterns for a voltage multilevel inverter. The reference data in main microcontroller is transmitted to the FPGA through 16 general purpose I/O ports. Herein, three-phase reference voltage signals are addressed by the last 2-bit (bit 15-14) and their data are assigned in remaining 14-bit, respectively. The carrier signals are created by 16-bit counter in up-down counting mode inside FPGA according to desirable topology. Each reference signal is compared with all carrier signals to generate corresponding PWM switching patterns for control of the multilevel inverter. Useful advantages of this scheme are easy implementation, simple software control and flexibility in adaptation to produce many PWM signals. Some simulations and experiments are carried out to validate the proposed method.
