ECAE 전단 가공된 5083 알루미늄 합금의 고변형률 변형거동 (High Strain Rate Deformation Behavior of 5083 Aluminum Alloy Prepared via Equal Channel Angular Extrusion)

  • The high strain rate deformation behavior of ultra-fine grained 5083 aluminum alloys prepared via equal channel angular (ECA) extrusion was investigated in this study. The microstructure of ECA extruded specimens consisted of ultra-fine grains, and contained a considerable amount of second phase particles, which were fragmented and distributed homogeneously in the matrix. According to the dynamic torsion test results, the maximum shear stress and fracture shear strain of the route A (no rotation) specimen were lower than those of route C ($180^{\circ}$ rotation) specimen since that adiabatic shear bands of $100{\mu}m$ in width were formed in the route A specimen. The formation of adiabatic shear bands was addressed by concepts of critical shear strain, deformation energy required for void initiation, and microstructural homogeneity associated with ECA operations.

  • 일반적으로 인장 시험에 주로 사용되는 납작한 형태의 금속 재료에 천천히 인장력을 가하고 그 힘을 증가시키면 어느 순간에 루더스 밴드(Luders band)라고 불리는 소성 변형의 띠가 갑자기 발생한다. 이 띠들은 일정 각도를 가지고 평행하게 발생하며, 여러 연구자들에 의해 특정 경계조건에 대하여 이 띠가 발생하는 조건과 그 각도에 대한 많은 연구가 선행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 평면 응력 조건에서 이루어진 Thomas(1961)의 연구를 기반으로 하고 $J_2$ 소성 변형 조건, 힘의 평형방정식, 그리고 구성방정식을 이용하여 평면 변형 조건에서 발생하는 밴드의 각도를 해석적으로 유도하였다. 이 결과는 음향텐서를 이용한 기존의 연구 결과와 일치함을 확인하였다.

불균형모멘트를 받는 슬래브-기둥 접합부를 위한 래티스 전단 보강 (Lattice Shear Reinforcement for Slab-Column Connection Subjected to Unbalanced Moment)

  • 무량판 구조의 슬래브-기둥 접합부는 뚫림전단파괴에 취약하여 구조 성능을 향상시킬 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 슬래브-기둥 접합부 전단 보강 방법인 래티스 보강의 강도와 변형 능력을 평가하기 위한 실험 연구를 실시하였다. 주기 횡 하중을 받는 4개의 래티스 보강 접합부에 대한 실험을 실시하였으며, 비교를 위하여 전단 무보강 시험체, 스터드 레일, 전단 밴드, 스터럽 등 다양한 기존의 전단 보강 방법으로 보강된 실험체에 대하여 실험을 실시하였다. 실험 결과, 래티스 보강은 강도와 변형 능력면에서 모두 우수한 성능을 나타내었으며, 현행 기준의 예측 강도를 현저히 상회하는 강도를 나타내어 전단 보강에 매우 효율적인 보강 방법으로 평가되었다. 반면에 스터럽, 스터드 레일과 전단 밴드 실험체는 전단 무보강 실험체에 비하여 강도 증진 효과가 크지 않거나, 그 강도에 미치지 못하는 강도를 나타냈다.

  • The study covers the behavior of reinforced concrete deep beams loaded under 4-point bending, failed by shear and repaired using bonding glass fiber reinforced plastics fabrics (GFRP) patches. Two rehabilitation methods have been used to highlight the influence of the composite on the ultimate strength of the beams and their failure modes. In the first series of trials the work has been focused on the reinforcement/rehabilitation of the beam by following the continuous configuration of the FRP fabric. The patch with a U-shape did not provide satisfactory results because this reinforcement strategy does not allow to increase the ultimate strength or to avoid the abrupt shear failure mode. A second methodology of rehabilitation/reinforcement has been developed in the form of SCR (Strips of Critical Region), in which the composite materials reinforcements are positioned to band the inclined cracks (shear) caused by the shear force. The results obtained by using this method lead a superior out come in terms of ultimate strength and change of the failure mode from abrupt shearing to ductile bending.

  • A novel flexibility-based 1D element that captures the material nonlinearity and second order P-$\Delta$ effects within a reinforced concrete frame member is developed. The formulation is developed for 2D planar frames in the modified fiber element framework but can readily be extended to 3D cases. The nonlinear behavior of concrete including cracking and crushing is taken into account through a modified hypo-elastic model. A parabolic and a constant shear stress distribution are used at section level to couple the normal and tangential tractions at material level. The lack of objectivity due to softening of concrete is addressed and objectivity of the response at the material level is attained by using a technique derived from the crack band approach. Finally the efficiency and accuracy of the formulation is compared with experimental results and is demonstrated by some numerical examples.

  • A slitter, also called a roll slitter or rewinding machine, is a sort of machinery to cut sheet materials in rolls continuously in the longitudinal direction. Recently slitter line users have requiring higher wuality and precision in products in addition to high productivity. In this paper, on effect of clearance on shear planes in slitting of S.K.B(shrinkage Bnad) is performed by using finite element method. The results obtained are as follows: (1)Load stroke curves show decreasing maximum force when increasing the clearance. (2)Effective strain decreases when the clearance increases. (3)Deformation is concentrated along the very narrow shear band.

지반조건에 따른 고속철도 토공노반의 공진에 관한 연구 (Study on the Resonance in Trackbed of High-Speed Railway Considering Ground Condition)

  • When the train running on the high-speed track, there is a speed band which track distortion is unusually increased according to the condition of track and roadbed. This speed is called critical velocity and physical parameter values are increased greatly. These phenomenon happened as high-speed train were developed, studied regularly through TGV 100 running test in France. As research result until now, the main reason is soft roadbed's bearing capacity. Wave propagation and track support capacity is varied by the ground characteristics. This paper achieved theoretical examination about resonance band(speed and frequency) that occurred in roadbed on the base rock in point of geotechnical engineering. The examination of resonance divides with ground response analysis, critical band analysis by the shear wave velocity of roadbed and train critical speed through the ground stratum.
