센서 네트워크에서 헬스케어 이동성 에이전트 모듈 설계 (Design Healthcare Mobility Agent Module in Sensor Network)

  • 통상적인 센서 네트워크는 센서노드로부터 고정된 정보를 수집하는 일괄적인 방식을 사용한다. 하지만 이러한 방식은 헬스케어 환경에서 주요 센싱대상인 사람의 상태와 위치변화, 주변 환경의 변화에 능동적으로 대처하기 어렵다. 헬스케어 환경을 지원하기 위해서는 사람의 상태와 주변상황의 변화에 따른 특정정보를 제공해주어야 한다. 또한 사람의 이동에 따른 네트워크 타입의 변화에 대처하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 다중 에이전트 미들웨어인 Agilla 모델과 주변노드간의 클러스터를 구성함으로써 네트워크의 효율성을 보장하는 LEACH 프로토콜에 대해 분석한다. 이 분석 결과를 기반으로 기존 LEACH 프로토콜의 취약점인 노드 이동성을 보장하는 LEACH_Mobile 프로토콜을 제안한다. 또한 노드의 동적 기능변경을 지원하는 Mobility Agent Middleware와 LEACH_Mobile 라우팅 모듈을 구성요소로 이동노드의 동적 기능변경을 지원하는 Mobility Agent 모듈을 설계한다. 그리고 LEACH_Mobile 프로토콜의 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 네트워크의 데이터 전송 성공률에 대한 성능 향상을 보여준다.

Monitoring of tension force and load transfer of ground anchor by using optical FBG sensors embedded tendon

  • A specially designed tendon, which is proposed by embedding an FBG sensor into the center king cable of a 7-wire strand tendon, was applied to monitor the prestress force and load transfer of ground anchor. A series of tensile tests and a model pullout test were performed to verify the feasibility of the proposed smart tendon as a measuring sensor of tension force and load transfer along the tendon. The smart tendon has proven to be very effective for monitoring prestress force and load transfer by measuring the strain change of the tendon at the free part and the fixed part of ground anchor, respectively. Two 11.5 m long proto-type ground anchors were made simply by replacing a tendon with the proposed smart tendon and prestress forces of each anchor were monitored during the loading-unloading step using both FBG sensor embedded in the smart tendon and the conventional load cell. By comparing the prestress forces measured by the smart tendon and load cell, it was found that the prestress force monitored from the FBG sensor located at the free part is comparable to that measured from the conventional load cell. Furthermore, the load transfer of prestressing force at the tendon-grout interface was clearly measured from the FBGs distributed along the fixed part. From these pullout tests, the proposed smart tendon is not only expected to be an alternative monitoring tool for measuring prestress force from the introducing stage to the long-term period for health monitoring of the ground anchor but also can be used to improve design practice through determining the economic fixed length by practically measuring the load transfer depth.

압저항 방식의 μN급 MEMS 추력 측정 시스템 설계 및 성능 예측 (Design and Performance Prediction of μN Level MEMS Thrust Measurement System of Piezoresistance Method)

  • 마이크로 추력기의 성능평가를 위해 MEMS 추력 측정 시스템을 설계하였으며, 시스템의 성능 예측에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 추력 측정 시스템은 빔, 박막, 압저항 센서로 구성된다. 시스템의 안정성 검증과 빔의 응력 변화를 확인하고 압저항 센서의 크기 및 위치 선정을 위해 FEM 해석을 수행하였다. 재료의 허용응력과 최대응력을 비교하여 설계한 시스템들의 안정성을 검증할 수 있었다. 압저항 센서는 높은 게이지 계수를 확보하기 위해 빔의 길이의 20%로 설계 하였으며, 기준형상의 박막과 빔의 크기는 각각 $15mm{\times}15mm$, $500{\mu}m{\times}500{\mu}m$로 설계하였다.

Performance Analysis of Spiral Axicon Wavefront Coding Imaging System for Laser Protection

  • Wavefront coding (WFC) imaging systems can redistribute the energy of an interference laser spot on an image plane sensor by wavefront phase modulation and reduce the peak intensity, realizing laser protection while maintaining imaging functionality by leveraging algorithmic post-processing. In this paper, a spiral axicon WFC imaging system is proposed, and the performance for laser protection is investigated by constructing a laser transmission model. An Airy disk on an image plane sensor is refactored into a symmetrical hollow ring by a spiral axicon phase mask, and the maximum intensity can be reduced to lower than 1% and single-pixel power to 1.2%. The spiral axicon phase mask exhibits strong robustness to the position of the interference laser source and can effectively reduce the risk of sensor damage for an almost arbitrary lase propagation distance. Moreover, we revealed that there is a sensor hazard distance for both conventional and WFC imaging systems where the maximum single-pixel power reaches a peak value under irradiation of a power-fixed laser source. Our findings can offer guidance for the anti-laser reinforcement design of photoelectric imaging systems, thereby enhancing the adaptability of imaging systems in a complex laser environment. The laser blinding-resistant imaging system has potential applications in security monitoring, autonomous driving, and intense-laser-pulse experiments.

USN 상호인증을 위한 개선된 신용모델 설계 (Design of An Improved Trust Model for Mutual Authentication in USN)

  • 유비쿼터스 환경의 핵심 기술인 USN은 배터리 용량 및 연산능력이 제한된 자원하에서 운영되어야 하며 이로 인하여 USN은 저 전력소비 및 최소의 연산량을 유지하기 위한 경량화된 설계가 반드시 요구된다. 이전의 J$\emptyset$sang의 신용모델에 기반한 USN상호인증 방법은 최소의 연산 기능만을 적용하여 경량화 된 상호인증이 가능하다는 특징이 있으나, 신용을 표현하기 위한 구성요소들의 속성이 경량성의 측면에서 미비점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 USN에서의 경량 상호인증에 적용하기 위해 J$\emptyset$sang 모델을 개선한 신용모델을 제안한다. 제안된 USN신용모델은 오직 신용 표현 대상(x)의 믿음(belief)의 정도만을 적용하여 신용정보를 정의한다 정의된 신용정보는 확률 및 논리 연산(AND)에 기초하여 정보를 계산하기 때문에 기존 J$\emptyset$sang의 신용모델 보다 계산량 측면에서 경량성을 가진다.

가상현실을 이용한 차세대 선박 시뮬레이터의 시스템 설계 (Design of Next-Generation Ship Simulator System Using Virtual Reality)

  • The paper describes system design of next-generation Ship Simulator using Virtual Reality (VRSS), well known as human-computer interaction. VRSS system is required to have special condition that comprises multiple user participants such as captain, officer, pilot, and quartermaster. To cope with that condition, core technologies were explored and proposed multi-networking system with broker server. The evaluation of the proposed system was done with PC-based immersion-type VR device, constituted with HMD (Head Mounted Display), Head Tracking Sensor, Puck, Headphone, and Microphone. Using the VR device, assessment test was carried out in a virtual bridge with 3D objects, which are created by VRML (Virtual Reality Model Language) program. As results of tests, it is shown that the cybernetic 3D objects were act as if real things in a real ship's bridge. Therefore, interesting interaction with participants can be obtained in the system, Thus, we found that the proposed system architecture can be applicable to VRSS system construction.

  • Insulation aging diagnosis system provides early warning regarding electrical equipment defect. Early warning is very important in that it can avoid great losses resulting from unexpected shutdown of the production line. Since relations of insulation aging and partial discharge dynamics are non-linear, it is very difficult to provide early warning in an electrical equipment. In this paper, we propose the design method of insulation aging diagnosis system that use a magnetic wave and acoustic signal to diagnoses an electrical equipment. Proposed system measures the partial discharge on-line from DAS(Data Acquisition System) and acquires 2D patterns from analyzing it. For filtering the noise contained in sensor signals we used ICA algorithms. Using this data, design of the neuro-fuzzy model that diagnoses an electrical equipment is investigated. Validity of the new method is asserted by numerical simulation.

능동구속감쇠 기법을 이용한 복합적층보의 진동 제어 (Vibration Control of Laminated Composite Beams Using Active Constrained Layer Damping Treatment)

  • The flexural vibration of laminated composite beams with active and passive constrained layer damping has been investigated to design a structure with maximum possible damping capacity. The equations of motion are derived fro flexural vibrations of symmetrical,. multi-layer laminated beams. The damping ratio and model damping of the first bending mode are calculated by means of iterative complex eigensolution method. The direct negative velocity feedback control is used for the active constrained layer damping. It is shown that the flexible laminated beam is more effective in the vibration control for both active and passive constrained layer damping. and this paper addresses a design strategy of laminated composite under flexural vibrations with constrained layer damping.

  • In this paper, control of a planar two-link structurally flexible robotic manipulator executing unconstrained and constrained maneuvers is considered. The dynamic model, which is obtained by using the extended Hamilton's principle and the Galerkin criterion, includes the impact force generated during the transition from unconstrained to constrained segment of the robotic task. A method is presented to obtain the linearized equations of motion in Cartesian space for use in designing the control system. The linear quadratic Gaussian with loop transfer recovery (LQG/LTR) design methodology is exploited to design a robust feedback control system that can handle modeling errors and sensor noise, and operate on Cartesian space trajectory errors. The LQG/LTR compensator together with a feedforward loop is used to control the flexible manipulator. Simulated results are presented for a numerical example.
