간호대학생의 기본간호술 중요성 인식, 자기주도적 학습능력이 기본간호술 수행자신감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Recognition of Importance and Self-Directed Learning Ability on Confidence in Performance of Basic Nursing Skills among Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 기본간호술 중요성 인식, 자기주도적 학습능력, 기본간호술 수행자신감 간의 관계 및 기본 간호술 수행자신감의 영향요인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 자료수집은 2017년 12월 18일부터 22일까지 G군 소재 간호대학생 171명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석방법은 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관관계, 단계적 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 분석결과 기본간호술 수행자신감은 기본간호술 중요성 인식과 자기주도적 학습능력과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 기본간호술 수행자신감에 대한 영향요인은 자기주도적 학습능력, 실습태도, 기본간호술 중요성 인식, 직전 학기 성적으로 총 변화량의 32%를 설명하였다. 본 연구를 통해 간호대학생의 기본간호술 수행자신감을 높이기 위해서 자기주도적 학습능력, 실습태도, 기본간호술 중요성 인식을 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 교육 전략이 필요하다.

만성 관절염 환자의 통증과 자기간호행위 관련요인 (A Survey on Pain and Self-Care Behavior of Patients with Chronic Arthritis)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to explore pain and self-care behaviors and identify related variables in patients with chronic arthritis. Method: One hundred fifty patients with arthritis were recruited from two university based arthritis centers according to selection criteria. Collected data were analyzed using the SAS program to analyze the responses to the structured questionnaires of the study. Result: Most of the participants expressed pain and the intensity of the pain was moderate. There were significant differences according to age, educational level, diagnosis, duration of illness, number of affected joint, and use of complementary therapy. Self-care behavior scores were moderately high. The highest practice was for 'regular visits to the hospital', and the lowest for 'applying physical therapy at home'. The mean self-care behavior scores showed significant differences according to economic status and educational level. Pain scores showed no correlation with self-care behavior. Conclusion: Developing self-management programs for patients with chronic arthritis should focus on self-care skills which are applicable in the relief of pain and enhancement of knowledge. The skills are recommended not only for better health practices but also for enhancing the level of well-being and life satisfaction.

블라인드 채용 시 방사선사 직무기술서에서 요구하는 직업기초능력 수준 분석 (Analyzing the Levels of Vocational key competencies Required by Radiological Technologist Job Description in Blind Hiring process)

  • 본 연구에서는 방사선과 대학생을 대상으로 블라인드 채용 시 방사선사 NCS 직무기술서에서 요구하는 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력, 자기개발능력, 대인관계능력, 직업윤리의 직업기초능력에 대한 수준 분석을 통해 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 2018년 11월 19일에서 11월 30일까지 S 대학교 방사선과 재학생 2, 3학년 총 79명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 직업기초능력에 대한 수준을 조사 분석하였다. 직업기초능력 수준 분석 결과 대인관계능력이 2학년 71.2점, 3학년 74.9 점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 문제해결능력과 자기개발능력이 2학년과 3학년에서 낮게 나타났다. 대인관계능력의 하위영역에 대한 분석 결과 갈등관리 능력이 3학년 80.5점, 2학년 77.5점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 리더십능력이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 자기개발 능력의 하위영역에 대한 분석 결과 자아인식능력이 3학년 74.8점, 2학년 70.0점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 경력개발능력이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 블라인드 채용 시 방사선사 NCS 직무기술서에서 요구하는 직업기초 능력 향상을 위해 대학에서는 임상과 잘 연계된 맞춤형 정규 교육과정 개발이 필요하며, 다양한 비정규 프로그램 운영을 통해 빠르게 변화하는 의료환경에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 방사선사 인재 양성을 위해 노력해야 할 것이다.

노인 암환자의 건강정보 이해능력을 반영한 항암화학요법 자기관리 프로그램 개발 및 평가 (The Development and Evaluation of a Health Literacy-Adapted Self-Management Intervention for Elderly Cancer Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an adapted health literacy self-management intervention for elderly cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: The intervention in this study was systematically developed through the six stages of Intervention Mapping Protocol and was based on Fransen et al's causal pathway model. A quasi-experimental trial was conducted on a total of 52 elderly patients (26 in an experimental group and 26 in a control group) undergoing chemotherapy in Korea. The intervention consisted of seven sessions over 5 weeks. The experimental tool for this study was an adapted health literacy self-management intervention, which was designed to promote a reduction in the symptom experience and distress of elderly cancer patients through the promotion of self-management behavior. To develop efficient educational materials, the participants' health literacy was measured. To educate participants, clear communication and the teach-back method were used. In addition, for the improvement of self-efficacy, four sources were utilized. For the promotion of self-management behavior, five self-management skills were strengthened. Data were collected before and after the intervention from June 4 to September 14, 2018. The data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Following the intervention, self-management knowledge and behavior and, self-efficacy significantly improved in experimental group. Symptom experience and distress decreased in the experimental group compared to the control group. Conclusion: The self-management intervention presented in this study was found to be effective in increasing self-management knowledge and behavior and, self-efficacy, and ultimately in reducing symptom experience and distress for elderly patients undergoing chemotherapy.

여대생의 취업을 향상시키기 위한 자기개발역량과 취업준비도의 구조적 분석 (Structural Analysis of Self-Development Competency and Employment Readiness to improve the Job Achievement of Women's University Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여대생의 취업준비와 밀접한 관련이 있는 자기개발역량과 취업준비도를 구조적으로 분석하여 그 영향관계를 파악하고, 취업준비도 향상을 위해 집중해야할 요인을 파악하여 궁극적으로 여대생의 취업이 잘 되도록 하는 것이다. 연구절차와 방법에서 자기개발역량과 취업준비도에 대한 변수를 상세화하고 연구모형을 생성하였으며, 변수간의 영향관계를 구조적으로 분석하는 과정에서 연구모형을 개선하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 취업준비도 향상에 가장 중요한 변수는 경력개발능력으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 기여도는 자아인식능력과 자기관리능력이 경력개발능력의 매개효과에 의해 취업준비도에 긍정적 영향을 가진다는 것을 밝혀낸 것이며, 특히 경력개발능력이 여대생의 취업준비도 향상에 결정적인 변수라는 것을 밝힌 것이다. 자기개발능력의 향상을 위한 새로운 교육정책의 입안은 여대생의 취업에 도움이 될 것으로 기대하며, 향후 연구에서 구체적인 교육 방안과 실행에 대한 사례분석이 본 연구를 기반으로 더욱 발전되어 나타나기를 기대한다.

청소년 약물남용 예방교육 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of Prevention Programs on Drug Use in Korean Adolescents)

  • Background and purpose : Drug abuse is one of the most serious problems among the Korean adolescents today and has been associated with delinquent behavior in adolescents. The number of adolescents who abuse drugs is increasing yearly. Solutions to the problem, however, have not been well developed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of a drug use prevention program which was developed by researchers. The program was a modified DARE(Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program for Korean adolescents. Methods: This study used an experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design with a convenience sample of 122 middle school students who were at one middle school located in Seoul. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire where ‘knowledge and attitude about drug use’, ‘social skill’, and ‘self-esteem’ were measured. The program had 12 sessions to improve knowledge and attitudes towards drugs, decision making skills, social resistance skills, management of stress and self-esteem of students. Teaching strategies for each session were varied lectures, group discussion. role-playing, question-and-answer sessions and audiovisual materials. Paired t-test was used to analyze the differences between the pre- and post-test scores on knowledge of and attitudes towards drug use, social skills, and self-esteem. Results : There were significant differences in knowledge and attitudes about drug use between pretest and post-test (p<.05), but no significant differences in social skill and self-esteem(p>.05). Conclusion: Our results showed that the drug use prevention program was not effective in promoting social-skill and self-esteem of Korean adolescents. These findings might be due to the respondents being in the period of early adolescence (puberty) and not being good at group discussion. So, further study is needed to develop a drug use prevention program appropriate to students 9 and 10 years old, and to encourge small group discussion.

Verification of the Effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence Education for Cultivating AI Literacy skills in Business major students

  • Purpose: In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, individuals equipped with fundamental understanding and practical skills in artificial intelligence (AI) are essential. This study aimed to validate the effectiveness of AI education for enhancing AI literacy among business major student. Research design, data and methodology: Data for analyzing the effectiveness of the AI Fundamental Education Program for business major students were collected through surveys conducted at the beginning and end of the semester. Structural equation modeling was employed to perform basic statistical analyses regarding gender, grade, and prior software (SW) education duration. To validate the effectiveness of AI education, seven variables - AI interest, AI perception, data analysis/utilization, AI projects, AI literacy, AI self-efficacy, and AI learning persistence - were defined and derived. Results: All seven operationally defined variables showed statistically significant positive changes. The average differences were observed as follows: 0.47 for AI interest, 0.32 for AI perception, 0.37 for data analysis/utilization, 0.27 for AI projects, 0.25 for AI literacy, 0.39 for AI self-efficacy, and 0.41 for AI learning persistence. Statistically, AI interest exhibited the most substantial average difference. Conclusions: Through this study, the applied AI education was confirmed to enhance learners' overall competencies in AI, proving its utility and effectiveness in AI literacy education for business major students. Future research endeavors should build upon these results, focusing on ongoing studies related to AI education programs tailored to learners from diverse academic backgrounds and conducting continuous efficacy evaluations.

지역사회 거주 장애인의 건강관리 향상을 위한 지원 요구 분석: 장애인지원주택 운영 관리자의 관점에서 (Support Needs for Health Promotion of Community-Dwelling People with Disabilities: Perspectives of Operators Managing Disability Supportive Housing)

  • Purpose: Recent studies have focused on policies aimed at supporting the independence of individuals with disabilities in communities. As part of this initiative, supportive housing, integrated care, and residential spaces offer tailored services based on individual needs and autonomy. The attitudes and knowledge of the administrators supporting supportive housing residents regarding health management can influence the well-being of individuals with disabilities. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the challenges faced by supporting housing workers in enhancing the self-management skills of individuals with disabilities. Methods: In this qualitative study, focus group interviews were conducted in August 2023 with nine administrators working to support housing in Seoul. Qualitative content analysis was used to analyze the interview data. Results: The needs and challenges in enhancing the self-management skills of individuals with disabilities were as follows: (1) the complexity of health management challenges, (2) bidirectional strategies for strengthening health management capabilities, and (3) support for systematic health management. Additionally, eight subthemes were derived. Conclusion: By investigating the difficulties experienced and identifying the necessary support requirements for supportive housing workers, this study seeks to uncover insights and identifies areas for improvement and strategies for health management. This study acknowledges the educational and institutional support necessary to improve the health and quality of life of individuals with disabilities residing in supportive housing.

유아의 성별과 연령 및 부모의 식사지도유형이 유아의 자조기술에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's Sex, Age and Parental Feeding Styles on Children's Self-help Skills)

  • This study investigated the effects of three factors - children's age, sex and parental feeding styles - on children's self-help skills. The subjects were 213 children and their parents who lived in Kwanak-ku, Seoul. The three-way analysis of variance was employed. The main results were as follows: 1. Children's autonomy was varied significantly according to their sex. Girls do better by themselves than boys do in toileting, washing and drying hands, putting on and buttoning up a coat, putting on clothes, washing and drying their faces. Children's autonomy also varied significantly according to age. A majority of the autonomy subsets increased as the children's ages increased. However, drying their hands with a towel, removing their coats, and drinking water did not vary by age. 2. Children's autonomy also varied significantly according to their parents' feeding style. A responsive feeding style encouraged children to drink water by themselves. 3. The group with the highest score in self-help skills in toileting was 6-year-old girls, and the group with the lowest score was 3-year-old boys. Additionally, the groups with the highest scores in toileting were 4-year-old girls whose parents demonstrated a neglective feeding style, 5-year-old girls whose parents demonstrated an authoritative feeding style, 5-year-old girls whose parents demonstrated a responsive feeding style, 3-year-old boys whose parents demonstrated a responsive feeding style and 6-year-old boys whose parents demonstrated a neglective feeding style. Conversely, the groups with the lowest scores in toileting were 3-year-old girls whose parents demonstrated an authoritarian feeding style, 5-year-old girls whose parents demonstrated a neglective feeding style, and 3-year-old and 6-year-old boys whose parents demonstrated an authoritarian feeding style. 4. The group with the highest score in removing their coats was girls whose parnets demonstrated authoritative, responsive or neglective feeding styles. The group with the lowest score in removing their coats was boys whose parents demonstrated authoritative or neglective feeding styles.

자동차 생산 관리 분야 직업기초능력의 수준 평가 연구 (A Study on the Level Estimation of Key Competencies in Automobile Production Management Fields)

  • 본 연구에서는 수리능력, 조직이해력, 기술능력, 문제해결력, 대인관계능력, 의사소통능력, 자기관리 및 개발능력, 자원활용능력, 정보활용능력을 직업기초능력의 영역으로 설정하여 자동차 분야 학생과 자동차 생산 관리 분야 산업체 인사의 직업기초능력 수준을 평가하였다. 각 영역의 직업기초능력의 수준을 설정하기 위해서는 자동차 분야 산업체와 대학의 직업기초능력의 수준을 설정할 수 있는 근거가 필요하므로 이를 위해 자동차 분야 산업체 인사가 보유하고 있는 직업기초능력의 수준을 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 자동차 분야의 2년제 대학 학생이 보유하고 있는 직업기초능력과의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 본 연구에서 정한 직업기초능력 수준 설정의 근거가 타당함을 검증하였고, 설정된 직업기초능력 수준을 적용시킬 때 자동차 분야 산업체와 대학 각각의 수준 평가가 가능하고 유효한 것임을 알 수 있었다.
