자율실습에서 형성적 피드백이 간호대학생의 실습만족도, 학습동기 및 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Formative Feedback Practice on Practice satisfaction, Learning motivation and Academic Self efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 자율실습에서 형성적 피드백을 적용한 후 학생의 실습만족도, 학습동기 및 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 효과를 확인한 비동등성 대조군 전후설계의 유사실험연구이다. 본 연구는 경인지역에 소재한 대학의 간호대학생 37명을 실험군으로 하여 교수자에 의한 형성적 피드백을, 전북지역에 소재한 대학의 간호대학생 41명을 대조군으로 하여 동영상 촬영 후 동료피드백을 적용하였다. 중재를 적용하기 전과 후에 자료수집을 하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 실험군이 대조군에 비해 실습만족도(t=-2.79, p=.007) 및 학업적 자기효능감(t=2.30, p=.024)은 유의하게 향상되었으나 학습동기는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 이는 기존에 동영상 촬영 후 동료피드백을 제공하는 것보다 교수자에 의한 형성적 피드백을 제공하는 것이 더 효과적임을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 따라서 교수자들은 자율실습에서 간호학생들의 핵심기본간호술기 습득을 위하여 형성적 피드백을 적용하는 것을 고려할 필요가 있다.

Investigate the Roles of Sanctions, Psychological Capital, and Organizational Security Resources Factors in Information Security Policy Violation

  • Previous studies have shown that insiders pose risks to the security of organisations' secret information. Information security policy (ISP) intentional violation can jeopardise organisations. For years, ISP violations persist despite organisations' best attempts to tackle the problem through security, education, training and awareness (SETA) programs and technology solutions. Stopping hacking attempts e.g., phishing relies on personnel's behaviour. Therefore, it is crucial to consider employee behaviour when designing strategies to protect sensitive data. In this case, organisations should also focus on improving employee behaviour on security and creating positive security perceptions. This paper investigates the role of psychological capital (PsyCap), punishment and organisational security resources in influencing employee behaviour and ultimately reducing ISP violations. The model of the proposed study has been modified to investigate the connection between self-efficacy, resilience, optimism, hope, perceived sanction severity, perceived sanction certainty, security response effectiveness, security competence and ISP violation. The sample of the study includes 364 bank employees in Jordan who participated in a survey using a self-administered questionnaire. The findings show that the proposed approach acquired an acceptable fit with the data and 17 of 25 hypotheses were confirmed to be correct. Furthermore, the variables self-efficacy, resilience, security response efficacy, and protection motivation directly influence ISP violations, while perceived sanction severity and optimism indirectly influence ISP violations through protection motivation. Additionally, hope, perceived sanction certainty, and security skills have no effect on ISP infractions that are statistically significant. Finally, self-efficacy, resiliency, optimism, hope, perceived severity of sanctions, perceived certainty of sanctions, perceived effectiveness of security responses, and security competence have a substantial influence on protection motivation.

지역아동센터 이용 어린이의 비만관리의 한계점과 모바일폰의 잠재적인 활용 가능성: 어린이와 보호자 대상의 질적 연구 (Current Barriers of Obesity Management of Children Using Community Child Care Centers and Potential Possibility of Utilizing Mobile Phones: A Qualitative Study for Children and Caregivers)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to identify the current barriers of obesity management for children using Community Child Care Centers and their caregivers (parents and teachers working in the Centers). Further, this study explored the possibility of utilizing a mobile phone application for tailored obesity prevention and management programs to overcome the current difficulties associated with children's obesity management. Methods: The qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with 20 obese and overweight children or children who wanted to participate in this study using Community Child Care Centers, 12 teachers working at the Centers, and a focus group interview with five parents of children using the Centers. Data were analyzed with a thematic approach categorizing themes and sub-themes based on the transcripts. Results: The current barriers of obesity management of obese and overweight children using Community Child Care Centers were lack of self-directed motivation regarding obesity management (chronic obesity-induced lifestyles and reduced self-confidence due to stigma) and lack of support from households and Community Child Care Centers (latchkey child, inconsistency in dietary guidance between the Center and household, repetitive pressure to eat, and absence of regular nutrition education). Mobile phone applications may have potential to overcome the current barriers by providing handy and interesting obesity management based on visual media (real-time tracking of lifestyles using behavior records and social support using gamification), environmental support (supplementation of parental care and network-based education between the Community Child Care Center and household), and individualized intervention (encouragement of tailored and gradual changes in eating habits and tailored goal setting). It is predicted that the real-time mobile phone program will provide information for improving nutritional knowledge and behavioral skills as well as lead to sustainable children's coping strategies regarding obesity management. In addition, it is expected that environmental factors may be improved by network-based education between the Community Child Care Centers and households using the characteristics of mobile phones, which are free from space and time constraints. Conclusions: The tailored education program for children using Community Child Care Centers based on mobile phones may prevent and reduce childhood obesity by overcoming the current barriers of obesity management for children, providing environmental and individualized support to promote healthy lifestyles and quality of life in the future.

Prudent Financial Management Practices among Malaysian Youth: The Moderating Roles of Financial Education

  • The study aims to investigate the roles of financial education (FE) as a moderator to financial attitude (FA), parental financial socialisation (PFS), and financial literacy (FL) to ensure the success of prudent financial management practices (PFMP) among Malaysian youth. The study was designed quantitatively and employed self-administered questionnaires, which were adopted from previous studies and distributed to 480 youths in Malaysia. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test hypotheses of the study. The results showed FA, PFS and FL have significant and positive relationship with PFMP. However, as regards moderating interaction of FE, results showed that FE does not significantly moderate the relationship between FA, PFS and FL with PFMP. The results further highlighted serious concerns on the effectiveness of FE towards improving youth capability in managing their financial affairs prudently. This proved that mandated FE prior to graduation has less effect and does not lead to behavior changes among Malaysian youth. It shows the challenges faced by the country stakeholders to strengthen FE, enhance the effectiveness and encompass the right FE elements to ensure today's young Malaysians are able to apply what they learned in the classroom to their real life.

공감리더십과 구조적 임파워먼트 중심의 지지적 업무환경이 간호사 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Supportive Work Environment on the Job Satisfaction of Registered Nurses : Resonant Leadership and Structural Empowerment)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to investigate the effects of resonant leadership and structural empowerment on the job satisfaction of registered nurses working in hospitals. Methods : Data were surveyed from 307 nurses in three general hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do using self-administered questionnaires from March 15 to 31, 2016. We conducted t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 for analysis. Results : Resonant leadership and structural empowerment had significant effect on the job satisfaction of nurses. These two attributes of a quality work environment explained 45.3% and 40.1% of the variance in organizational and opportunity satisfaction while controlling for age, marital status, religion, education, work department, work type, career and work position. Conclusions : The findings of this study suggest that resonant leaders and structural empowerments contribute to nurse job satisfaction. Therefore, developing resonant leadership skills and structural empowerment among nurse leaders in hospitals will ensure the creation of healthy work environments that promote job satisfaction and retention of nurses.

교정공무원의 정신건강과 관련요인 (Factors Relating to the Mental Health of Correctional Officers)

  • Objectives: Everyday correctional officers confront with so many criminals, so this situation could be a bad environment on correctional officer's mental health. But the study about their mental health status and related factors have rarely been focused, and besides, the actual mental health conditions of them have also been rarely investigated. Consequently, this study aimed to identify mental health status and related factors of correctional officers. Methods: Data were collected from July 10 to August 25, 2012. The Participants included 1,496 correctional officers in 50 correctional facilities. Results: The risk factors of mental health problems were living in urban region, 40 ages group, less experience in correctional field, unmarried marital status & not living with their spouse, over nine hours contact with criminals and so forth. On the other hand, stress coping methods were not related with socioeconomic and other factors. Conclusions: Lessening working hours or contact hours with criminals, providing a risk-group management for those who have many risk factors, making self-support group will be helpful to manage or promote their mental health status. Besides, employee assistance programs should be developed such as job stress management methods or counselling communication skills.

The Application of the Sports Psychology for Business Leadership: Current Literature Analysis

  • Purpose: This study seeks to address the following research questions: (1) What are the fundamental principles of sports psychology that can be applied to business leadership? (2) How can these principles enhance business leadership effectiveness? As a result, the study may evaluate the necessity and benefits of incorporating sports psychology principles into business leadership practices. Research design, data and methodology: The data collection process in this study involved a systematic Literature review approach, following the prior literature analysis guidelines by numerous past studies. This methodical approach to selecting articles can be useful in synthesizing existing literature and can be referred to as Literature review and selection. Results: The literature analysis has indicated that there is much support for assumptions underpinning business leadership modules, which can be enhanced by applying sports psychology. This topic discusses the traits of self-positivity and mental toughness, goal perspective and interpersonal relationships within a team, and visualization in a sporting organization that can be implemented in business management to support organizational performance. Conclusions: All in all, it can be concluded that organizations must consider adopting Sports Psychology principles into their Leadership Development Programs. 자아성찰 자율실습이 기본간호 수행능력 및 수행자신감, 학업적 자기효능감, 실습만족도에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Self-directed Practice through Writing Self-Reflective Journal on Basic Nursing Performance ability, Confidence in performance, Learning self-efficacy and Practice satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 동영상을 활용하여 자아성찰을 통한 자율실습 후 기본간호 수행능력 및 수행자신감, 학업적 자기효능감, 실습만족도에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위해 비동등성 대조군사후설계 유사실험 연구를 수행하였다. 연구대상은 G지역 일개대학 간호학과 2학년을 대상으로 하였으며, 실험군 57명, 대조군 56명이었다. 자료수집은 2017년 4월1일부터 6월 14일까지였다. 자료는 SPSS 22.0 Program을 이용하여 동질성 검정은 ${\chi}^2$ test, t-test 및 Fisher's exact test로 분석하였고, 변수에 대한 집단 간의 사전동질성 검정은 Independent-test를 시행하였다. 연구결과 기본간호 수행능력 및 수행자신감, 학업적 자기효능감(t=15.304, p<.001), 실습만족도(t=15.304, p<.001) 모두 실험군이 대조군보다 점수가 향상되었을 뿐만 아니라 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 결론적으로 기본간호 자율실습 시 동영상을 촬영한 후 자아성찰을 통한 실습방법은 자율실습 참여에 긍정적인 효과를 초래하였을 뿐만 아니라 학습자들의 학습동기를 높여 적극적이고 능동적인 실습참여에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 예측된다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 기본간호 술기능력을 향상시키기 위해 보다 다양한 실습에 적용해볼 것을 제안한다.

병원 전 환경의 외상성 응급환자를 위한 전문기도관리 (Advanced airway management for the prehospital traumatic patient)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 주행 중인 구급차에서 기관내 삽관과 후두마스크(LMA) 삽입의 신속성과 성공률을 비교하여 구급대원의 전문기도관리 능력을 향상시키는 데 있다. 연구방법은 C 지역 구급대원 중 1급 응급구조사 60명(대조군 30명, 실험군 30명)을 편의추출 하여 마네킹을 대상으로 측정을 하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 14.0 Version을 사용하였다. 연구결과 기관내 삽관이 냄새맡기 자세에서 신속성이 좋은 것으로 나타났고(t=-4.038, p<.001), 중립자세에서 그룹 간 신속성 차이는 없었으나 기관내 삽관 시 16명(53.3%)에게 치아파절이 발생했다. 또한, 그룹 간 성공률 차이는 없었고 두 그룹 모두 실험 후 자신감이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 냄새맡기 자세가 불가능한 외상성 환자는 후두마스크(LMA)의 사용이 효과적이고 구급대원의 기도관리 능력을 향상시키기 위하여 지속적인 교육이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

초등학생들의 사회·정서적 능력 함양을 위한 이론적 토대 연구 (A theoretical foundation study for the promotion of a social and emotional competencies of children)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 "초등학생들의 사회 정서적 능력 함양을 위한 인성교육의 통합적 방안 연구"의 이론적 토대를 세우는 것에 있다. 본 연구는 초등교육의 핵심 목표 중의 하나인 초등학생들의 "바르고 선한 인성(character)"을 어떻게 하면 보다 효과적으로 함양할 것인가?의 물음에 답하기 위해, 사회 정서적 학습(the social and emotional learning, 이하 SEL로 약칭) 이론에 근거하여 그 해답의 실마리를 찾고, 인성교육의 통합적 접근을 통해 궁극적으로 초등학생들의 사회 정서적 능력 함양을 위한 프로그램을 구안하여 초등현장에 적용하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 본 논문에서는 정서 지능이 무엇이며, 정서 지능과 관련된 여러 이론들의 공통점과 차이점을 비교해 보았다. 왜냐하면 본 연구가 기반으로 삼고 있는 사회 정서적 학습은 바로 정서 지능에 대한 핵심 아이디어에서 출발하기 때문이다. 이어 개인의 일상생활에서 비롯되는 사회적이고 정서적인 현상을 이해하고 조직하며 표현하는 능력으로서 사회 정서적 능력의 주요 구성 요소인 자기인식, 자기관리, 사회적 인식, 대인관계 기술, 책임있는 의사결정에 대해 살펴보았고, 미국에서 SEL 프로그램이 구체적으로 어떤 효과를 가져왔는지를 분석해 보았다. 다음으로 사회 정서적 학습과 정서 능력 혹은 정서 지능은 어떤 관계에 있는지, SEL과 인성교육은 어떤 관계있는지를 살펴보았으며, 특히 SEL 프로그램의 활용에 있어 인성교육이 주는 시사점도 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 SEL 프로그램을 우리의 초등학생을 위한 통합적 인성교육의 프로그램에 적용할 때 유의해야 할 일반적 원리에 대해 살펴보았다.
