조현병 환자에서 자기 및 타인 평가와 무쾌감증 간의 관련성 (Relationship between Evaluation for the Self and others and Anhedonia in Patients with Schizophrenia)

  • Objectives : The dysfunctional neural networks underlying self-evaluation in schizophrenia are overlapped with the neural structures involved in emotion regulation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of anhedonia on the self-evaluation attitude of patients with schizophrenia. Methods : Twenty healthy controls and twenty patients with schizophrenia performed a self-evaluation task, presenting a pair of the face (self, familiar other, and unfamiliar other) and word (negative, neutral, and positive noun) at the same time. Participants were asked to evaluate relevance between the pairs by pressing a corresponding button. Relevance rating scores were compared between the groups and were correlated with the severity of physical and social anhedonia. Results : Patients evaluated the condition of a self face with a negative word and a familiar face with a negative word to be more relevant than healthy controls. In the patient group, the scores of relevance rating in the condition of an unfamiliar other face with a negative word were positively correlated with the anhedonia scale scores (physical : r=0.486, p=0.030 ; social : r=0.499, p=0.025). There was no correlation between the self-evaluation attitude and the severity of anhedonia. Conclusion : Patients with schizophrenia evaluate themselves badly in only negative circumstances, and anhedonia is not related to self-evaluation, but rather other-evaluation.

  • This study examined the effects of therapeutic communication skills, self esteem and self concept, psychiatric nursing lectures on students' psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores. The purposes of this study were to determine factors influencing students' psychiatric nursing practice to improve the quality of that practice. The subjects were 123 third year nursing students in the department of nursing of G University in C city. Data were collected from 1989 to 1991 by question-aires and academic records. Pearson Correlation and t-test were used in analysing the data to confirm the relationship and influence among the study variables. Stepwise Multiple regression was used to confirm the predictors of the nursing students' psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores. The results were as follows : 1) Relationship of General characteristics and Psychiatric Nursing Practice Evaluation Scores : General characteristics were not significant on psychiatric nursing pracice evaluation scores. 2) Relationship of the therapeutic communication skill and psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores : the higher the degree of therapeutic communication skill was the higher the scores for psychiatric nursing practice (r=.5528, p(.001). 3) Relationship of psychiatric nursing course and psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores the higher the scores in the psychiatric nursing course the higher the scores for psychiatric nursing practice (r=.2793, p(.01). 4) Relationship of self-esteem & self concept and psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores : Self-esteem 8f concept was not significant on psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores. 5) Stepwise multiple correlation of therapeutic communication skills, self-esteem and self concept, psychiatric nursing lectures on psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores showed that therapeutic communication skills and the psychiatric nursing course scores influenced the evaluation scores psychiatric nursing practice significantly.

중환자실 간호사의 호흡기계 병원감염관리 인지도와 실천정도 조사연구 (Recognition, Self and Objective Evaluations of Nosocomial Respiratory Infection Control Practices by ICU Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was two-fold : to describe the level of recognition of nosocomial respiratory infections by ICU nurses and to compare self evaluation and objective evaluation of nosocomial respiratory infection control practices by ICU nurses. Method: Data were collected from 78 nurses in intensive care units in one university affiliated hospital in Kyung Ki Province. Data were collected from March 4 to March 18, 2002. The recognition and self evaluation data were collected through a self report questionnaire and an objective evaluation which was done by observing the actual behavior of the nurses. Result: The results of this study showed that there was a significant positive relationship between recognition scores and self evaluation scores. However, there was no significant relationship between level of recognition and objective evaluation, nor between self evaluation and objective evaluation of infection control Practices by ICU nurses. Conclusion: ICU nurses In this study gave higher scores on self evaluation of their practice than were shown in the observation evaluation of actual practice. Moreover, in the objective evaluation the nurses had the lowest score on the item, 'washing hands before taking care of patients'. The results indicate that it is necessary to develop a standardized practice manual on nosocomial respiratory infection control in the ICU. Also, it is necessary to have a program to transfer knowledge into actual practice.

부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 사회적 상호작용 불안에 미치는 영향 -자기낙담과 자기격려의 매개효과- (The effect of Fear of Negative Evaluation on Social Interaction Anxiety -Mediating Effects of Self-Encouragement and Self-Discouragement-)

  • 본 연구에서는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안의 관계에서 자기낙담, 자기격려가 매개역할을 하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 광주, 전남에 소재한 3곳의 대학교에 재학 중인 학생 319명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시했다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석을 실시한 결과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간에 유의미한 정적상관이 존재하였고 자기낙담은 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간에 정적상관이 존재하였다. 그러나 자기격려는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간에 부적상관이 존재하였다. 둘째, 회귀분석을 통해 매개 검증을 실시한 결과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간의 관계에서 자기낙담은 완전매개효과를 보였고 자기격려는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움으로 인한 사회적 상호작용 불안을 경험하는 대학생들에게 상담자의 조력이나 안내를 통해 변화가능성이 있는 자기격려를 신장시켜줌으로써 사회적 상호작용 불안을 지닌 내담자를 보다 효율적으로 치유할 수 있음을 시사한다.

신입간호사의 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가가 간호업무수행에 미치는 영향 (The Influences between New Nurses' Nursing Performance, Emotional Intelligence, Self-resiliency and Core Self-evaluation)

  • 본 연구는 신입간호사의 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가가 간호업무수행에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 경기도에 소재한 800병상 이상의 종합병원 2곳에서 근무하는 12개월 미만의 신입간호사 114명이었다. 자료 수집은 2013년 7월부터 11월까지 간호업무수행, 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가에 대해 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 측정하였다. 연구의 결과, 신입간호사의 교육 정도, 직무만족도, 근무부서 업무만족도에 따라 간호업무수행 정도의 차이가 있었으며, 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가가 높을수록 간호업무수행 정도는 높았다. 정서지능, 교육수준, 핵심자기평가와 직무만족도는 간호업무수행 정도를 잘 예측하는 변수로 확인되었고, 간호업무수행 정도를 33% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 신입간호사의 교육 정도와 직무만족도를 고려하여 신입간호사 오리엔테이션부터 간호업무수행 외에 정서지능과 핵심자기평가를 포함한 실제적인 실무적응 훈련교육이 필요하다.

Effect of Self-Compassion on Evaluation and Choice of Healthy Food

  • In today's affluent food environment, investigating factors that facilitate resistance in the face of barriers to health goals may be vital for achieving successful promotion and regulation of health. This study was implemented to investigate the effect of self-compassion on the evaluation and choice of healthy vs. unhealthy food. In Study 1, participants (N = 101) primed with self-compassion evaluated unhealthy food more negatively than those primed with self-esteem. As predicted, however, there was no difference in attitude toward healthy food between the two priming conditions. In Study 2, participants (N = 54) were asked to choose between healthy and unhealthy food and then their self-compassion was measured. Results show that participants with high self-compassion chose healthy food more often than unhealthy food, while those with low self-compassion chose unhealthy food more than healthy food. The implications of the findings are discussed in terms of health campaign strategies and further research into the relation between self-compassion and health behaviors.

컴퓨터학부 기초전공 수업에서 팀 활동에 대한 자기평가와 동료평가의 활용성 연구 (A Study on Availabilities of Self-evaluation and Peer-evaluation of Team Activities in Computer Science Basic Classes)

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터학부 기초전공 수업에서 팀 활동에 대한 학생평가의 활용성을 분석하였다. 이를 위해, 동료평가, 자기평가, 학업성취도 사이의 관계를 알아보고자 상관분석을 실시하여 이들 사이에는 모두 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있음을 알아냈다. 이어서 동료평가 점수와 자기평가 점수의 차이를 분석하였다. 일표본 t-test를 실시했을 때 그 차이 값은 매우 유의미한 것이었다. 그러나 그 차이의 정도는 두 클래스에서 다르지 않았다. 즉 학생들은 학년에 상관없이 본인 스스로에 대한 평가 점수가 동료들로부터 받은 평가 점수보다 평균적으로 후한 경향이 있었다. 마지막으로 동료평가, 자기평가 점수의 차이와 학업성취도와의 관계를 분석하였을 때, 점수 차이와 학업성취도 사이에는 유의미한 상관관계가 없었다. 즉, 학업성취도가 높은 학생이든 낮은 학생이든 동료평가와 자기평가를 하는 경향성은 다르지 않았다. 이와 같은 분석 결과는 팀 기반 수업에서 학생평가가 개인별 평가에 활용될 수 있음을 보여준다. 자기평가 점수와 동료들로부터 받은 점수 사이에 높은 상관관계가 있는 것은 학생평가의 객관성을 나타낸다. 비록 자기평가 점수가 동료로부터 받은 점수보다 평균적으로 높은 것은 분명하지만 그것이 학년이나 과목에 따라서 또는 학업성취도에 따라서 달라지지 않으므로 객관성 면에서 더 활용가치가 높다.

관절염 환자의 수중운동 지속에 관한 구조 모형 (A Structural Model for Aquatic Exercise Adherence of Patients with Arthritis)

  • Many studies have reported that regular aquatic exercise can lead to improvement of health for patients suffering from arthritis. In spite of these benefits, the adherence rate has shown as few as 26% of patients with arthritis who had completed the aquatic exercise education program. Moreover, when patients with arthritis begin an aquatic exercise, 47% withdraw within the first 6 month. No study has been found that constructs model to explain aquatic exercise adherence of patients with arthritis. The purpose of this study were to identify the factors influencing exercise adherence and to construct and test a structural model to explain aquatic exercise adherence of patients with arthritis. Hypothesized model was constructed on the basis of Bandura's social cognitive theory and literature review. Exogenous latent variables included in this model are group cohesion and barrier, endogenous latent variables are self-efficacy, outcome expectancy and self-evaluation. Empirical data used was collected through individual interviews with the structural questionnaire on 249 patients with arthritis who had completed the 6-week aquatic exercise education program of Korean Rheumatology Health Professionals Academy. The interviews were performed from September 6, 1999 through October 8, 1999. A model tested by the covariance structural analysis with LISREL 8.12a program and by descriptive statistics and correlation with SAS 6.12 program. The results are summarized as follows: First, hypothesized model showed a good fit to the empirical data. In the modified model added one new path showed a much better fit. Second, group cohesion had a direct, indirect positive effects, self-efficacy and self evaluation had a direct positive effects on exercise adherence. Barrier had a direct, indirect negative effects on exercise adherence. Outcome expectancy had a direct negative effect, indirect positive effects through self-evaluation on exercise adherence, but total effects was not significant. Total effect size of the variables were group cohesion, self-efficacy, barrier and self evaluation in order. All variables accounted for 54% of the total variance of exercise adherence in the model. In conclusion, this model confirmed to be proper in explaining of aquatic exercise adherence. Group cohesion, self-efficacy, outcome expectancy, self-evaluation, barrier contributed to the aquatic exercise adherence of patients with arthritis. The results of this study suggested that improvement of group cohesion, self-efficacy and self-evaluation, motivation of outcome expectancy through self-evaluation, and reduction of the barrier should be included in the strategy of nursing intervention for the aquatic exercise adherence of patients with arthritis.

응급구조(학)과 학생의 응급환자평가 교육 전·후 비교 및 술기 수행 능력에 미치는 영향 (Comparison Before and After Emergency Patient Evaluation Education of Emergency Medical Technology Students and Its Effects on Their Technical Performance)

  • Purpose : This study compared before and after emergency patient evaluation education of the 1st graders at the department emergency medical technology(EMT) students, and analyzed its effects on patient evaluation ability after education. The aims of this study was to develop effective educational program and to provide basic materials for its educational method. Methods : This study was carried out by 66 first graders attending the department of emergency medical technology(EMT) at a college in G province and data were collected from Apr. 1 to 2, 2009. The questionnaire consisted of knowledge of emergent patient evaluation, academic self-efficacy, and technical performance after emergent patient evaluation education. We analyzed the influence of knowledge and academic self-efficacy on accurate technical performance with SPSS 14.0 version. Results : 1. In knowledge score, it was 9.27 before education and increased to 35.19 after education and that there was statistically significant difference. In academic self-efficacy, task difficulty preference scored 2.73 before education and 3.97 after education, self-control efficacy scored 2.84 before education and 4.05 after education, self-confidence scored 2.45 before education and 4.21 after education. There were statistically significant increases after education. Technical performance scored 0.00 before education, but it scored 18.78 after education and there was statistically significant increase after education. 2. In sex as one of general characteristics, self-confidence which was sub-factor of academic self-efficacy scored higher in male students(4.28) than in female students(4.10). There was statistically significant difference(p < 0.05). 3. Knowledge had positive correlation with self-control efficacy which was the sub-factor of academic self-efficacy(r = 0.249, p < 0.05) and self-confidence which is the sub-factor of academic self-efficacy had the positive correlation with technical performance(r = 0.258, p < 0.05). 4. Self-confidence which was the sub-factor of academic self-efficacy(B = 0.372, p < 0.05) had statistically significant influence on technical performance. ability of self-confidence to explain technical performance(R2) was 11.10%. Conclusion : From the results of this study, it is necessary that EMT students should learn professional first aid, accurate patient evaluation through self-efficacy development.

Fashion savvy II: 타인의 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 자아존중감과 의복구매 자신감이 fashion savvy에 미치는 영향 (Fashion savvy II: The influences of fear of negative evaluation by others, self esteem, and consumer confidence in fashion decisions on fashion savvy)

  • The purpose of this study was to test the determinants of fashion savvy. As determinants, this study examined fear of negative evaluation by others and self esteem as subject-related variables and consumer confidence in fashion decisions as the product-related variable. It was hypothesized that fear of negative evaluation and self esteem influence fashion savvy both directly and indirectly through consumer confidence in fashion decisions. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul metropolitan area, using convenience sampling, and 311 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing data, factor analysis and path analysis were conducted. Tests of the hypothesized path show that one factor of fear of negative evaluation and self esteem influence fashion savvy directly and indirectly through consumer confidence in fashion decisions. More specifically, 'fear of negative impression and judgment' factor negatively influences 'marketing literacy' and 'consumer selfefficacy' of fashion savvy, whereas self-esteem positively influences 'consumer self-efficacy' of fashion savvy. In addition, consumer confidence in fashion decisions influences all six factors of fashion savvy. The implications of these findings and suggestions for future study are also discussed.
