부모양육태도와 청소년 게임과몰입 연구 : 도피이론을 중심으로 (Adolescents' Gaming Disorder Study and Parenting Attitude : Based on the Escape Theory)

  • 도피이론은 자살과 같은 문제행동에 대한 이론으로 부정적인 자신인식을 그 원인으로 보고 있다. 본 연구는 최근 대표적인 청소년 문제로 주목을 받고 있는 게임과몰입의 원인을 도피이론을 통해 추적해 보았다. 자살이론은 부정적 외부환경에 의해 촉발된 문제를 내부귀인과 자기비난으로 흘러가게 하며 이를 혐오적 자기인식으로, 다시 문제행동으로 이어지는 과정을 나타낸다. 이 과정을 청소년의 환경, 심리, 행동에 대입하여 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과로 부모의 애정부족과 일관성부재가 부정적 외부환경을 조성하고 이것이 부정적 외부환경을 조성하여 자녀의 자존감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 곧이어 낮은 자존감이 우울이라는 부정적 감정을 유발, 자신의 통제력을 낮추어 게임과몰입을 유도하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 같은 분석 결과는 게임과몰입이 도피이론모형을 통해 설명되던 폭식, 쇼핑중독 등 강박행동과 유사한 구조를 가지는 것을 나타냈으며, 게임과몰입 연구를 위해서 개인의 환경심리요인에 보다 집중할 필요가 있음을 나타낸다.

  • 본 연구는 2011년부터 2013년까지 우리 사회 각 영역들에 적극적으로 수용되었던 힐링담론에 주목하여 초기 힐링담론이 자기통치의 측면에서 어떤 방식을 강조했으며, 그것은 수용 국면에서 어떤 담론효과를 보이는지 다루고자 하였다. 힐링담론은 위로와 치유가 필요한 대상을 탈정치화된 개인의 범주로 국한시키며 성찰적이고 성장하는 존재가 되기 위해 현재에 충실할 것을 강조한다. 개인의 성찰과 성장은 시대와 사회에 대한 비판을 대체하면서 치유가 필요한 개인들에게 구체적인 행동규범이자 윤리로 작용한다. 수용자들은 힐링담론을 적극적으로 받아들이면서 성찰과 반성을 통해 스스로에게 당당한 자신이 될 것을 다짐하면서 자신을 권능화하고자 한다. 반면 지배적 수용담론 내부에는 실질적 위로의 부재를 비판하고, 기성세대에 대한 반감을 드러내기도 하며, 자신들을 문제적으로 대상화하는 방식을 거부하는 등의 균열과 특이성들이 존재하고 있다. 그러나 이것은 힐링이라는 구체적 테크놀로지에 대한 부분적 거부이지, 신자유주의라는 거대 질서에 대한 근본적 저항은 아니다.

자기-대화의 유형이 과제수행 및 수행 후 정서에 미치는 효과 (Effects of the Types of Self-talk on Task Performance and Post-task Emotion)

  • 본 연구는 자기-대화의 인칭과 내용이 과제수행과 정서 및 지각된 스트레스에 어떻게 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 수행되었다. 부산 소재 대학교 학부생 100명을 대상으로 자기-대화의 인칭(일인칭 대 비 일인칭)과 내용(자기-격려 대 자기-비판)이 조합된 네 가지 조건에 25명씩 무선 할당하여 처치 전과 처치 후의 참가자들의 반응을 측정하였다. 처치 전후 차이 값을 사용하여 변량분석을 실시한 결과, 과제수행, 과제 관련 자신감, 그리고 정서 반응, 지각된 스트레스에서 자기-대화 내용의 주 효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 자기-격려 자기-대화를 사용한 집단은 자기-비판 자기-대화를 사용한 집단보다 처치 후 과제수행이 더 증가하였고, 과제수행에 대한 자신감도 더 높았으며, 긍정 정서는 더 높고 부정정서와 지각된 스트레스는 더 낮게 나타났다. 지각된 스트레스 평정에서는 자기-대화의 인칭과 내용의 상호작용 효과가 유의하였다. 즉, 일인칭 자기-대화의 경우 자기-격려 조건과 자기-비판 조건 간에 차이가 없었지만, 비 일인칭의 경우에는 자기-격려 조건이 자기-비판 조건에 비해 지각된 스트레스가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

창의적 체험활동과 연계한 초등학교 지속가능발전교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용 (The Development and Application of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Program related to Creative-Experience Activity for Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the ESD program related to creative-experience activity, and to examine the effect of its application. The program was composed of 13 sessions for fifth-grade class in elementary school, including all of the environmental, economic, and social aspects of ESD. This program was connected to the domains of creative hands-on activities, that is, career activities, club activities, self-regulated activities and voluntary service activities. The results was as follows. First, the experimental group to undergo the ESD program related to creative-experience activity did not show significant differences in environmental literacy compared to the control group, but it is proven that this program contributed to the improvement of learners' environmental emotion, skill, and participation. Second, the experimental group did not show significant differences in scientific attitude compared to the control group, but it was considered to affect the elementary students' criticism, self-esteem, and patience in positive and effective manner. In conclusion, more ESD program that cultivate elementary school students' environmental literacy need to be developed continuously, and more intensive research should be conducted to earn better understanding of ESD.

대상화이론에 근거한 여대생의 섭식장애증상 경로모형 분석 (Analysis of Path Model Based on Objectification Theory for College Women's Eating Disorder Symptomatology)

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the fitness of a path model based on the objectification theory and to expand it by including the new variables to explain eating disorder symptomatology (EDS). Methods: The subjects consisted of 444 college women. Data was collected through self-report questionnaires that measured self-objectification (SO), social physique anxiety (SPA) and EDS as the original variables in the objectification theory, and influence of mass media (IMM) and sex-role attitude (SRA) as the new variables. Data was analyzed by SPSS/WIN 12.0 and Amos 5.0 programs. Results: IMM and SRA showed direct effect on SO. IMM had direct and indirect effect on SPA and EDS. SRA had direct and indirect effect on EDS, but only indirect effect on SPA. SO and SPA influenced EDS directly, and SO influenced indirectly EDS. Conclusion: Path analyses indicated support for the original theory and the expanded theory. It is necessary for repeated studies including various age groups of women to clarify the applicability of the objectification theory to Korean women's eating disorders. And it were recommended that we should promote womens' criticism of the image and message about the perfect female body presented in the mass media, and to highlight the relationship of gender equality to women's eating disorders in health education.

프뢰벨의 인간교육 사상에 나타난 수학교육의 의미 (The Value of Mathmatics Education in Froebel's Educational Thoughts)

  • In this paper, in order to explicate how mathematics education can contribute to humanity education, I enquired in which position mathematics occupy in Froebel's For this, I examined Froebel's theory of humanity education, his theory of mathematics education, and the applicational problem of his thoughts to nowaday education. Froebel's educational theory is based on the concept of the Divine Unity which is relevant to the notion of 'The Absolute' of Fichte, Schelling, Hegel. He claims that from inanimate objects to human being, all is subject to the eternal law, which is presided by God. So the world itself is the representation of this law of the Divine Unity and education consists in leading man to conscious and free representation of it. The revealing process of the inner law of the Divine Unity can be attained through the awareness of the divinity which resides in the self. And this process of self-consciousness is dialectical movement of the two opposites, i.e. 'inner' and 'outer' Froebel suggests that mathematics is the mediator between the inner and outer world, i.e. he suggests that since both human being and nature are the representations of the Divine Unity, mathematics is both the pure human spirits and the law of nature. Having such a role, mathematics becomes the main discipline in education. Though there are some criticism on Froebel's educational thoughts on mathematics discussed in this paper, it can provide a typical answer to the question about how mathematics education contributes to humanity education.

Pragmatic Strategies of Self (Other) Presentation in Literary Texts: A Computational Approach

  • The application of computer software into the linguistic analysis of texts proves useful to arrive at concise and authentic results from large data texts. Based on this assumption, this paper employs a Computer-Aided Text Analysis (CATA) and a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to explore the manipulative strategies of positive/negative presentation in Orwell's Animal Farm. More specifically, the paper attempts to explore the extent to which CATA software represented by the three variables of Frequency Distribution Analysis (FDA), Content Analysis (CA), and Key Word in Context (KWIC) incorporate with CDA decipher the manipulative purposes beyond positive presentation of selfness and negative presentation of otherness in the selected corpus. The analysis covers some CDA strategies, including justification, false statistics, and competency, for positive self-presentation; and accusation, criticism, and the use of ambiguous words for negative other-presentation. With the application of CATA, some words will be analyzed by showing their frequency distribution analysis as well as their contextual environment in the selected text to expose the extent to which they are employed as strategies of positive/negative presentation in the text under investigation. Findings show that CATA software contributes significantly to the linguistic analysis of large data texts. The paper recommends the use and application of the different CATA software in the stylistic and corpus linguistics studies.

문학과 비평의 새로운 사이버 공간: 소셜 네트워크의 적용 (New Cyber Space for Literature and criticism: Applied to Social Network)

  • 문학은 오랜 기간 동안 사회의 현상과 그 시대의 화제, 이슈 등을 표현하여 왔다. 또한 많은 문학 평론가들은 이를 하나의 문학 작품 뿐만 아니라 그 시대상을 바로 보는 지표로 사용하였다. 즉 문학은 그 시대를 표현하는 대표적인 방법이었다. 그러나 사람들마다 해당 작품을 보는 관점은 다를 수 있다. 그래서 문학은 사람들마다 독자적인 해석에 기반을 두게 되고, 이는 문학을 통해 보는 시대의 이해에 대한 일반화에 어려움을 주는 요인으로 작용하였다. 본 논문은 이를 위하여 소셜 네트워크를 통한 새로운 사이버 공간을 만들고, 문학을 통해 일반적으로 그 시대를 이해하고 공감할 수 있는 논의 공간이 될 수 있도록 하는 프레임워크를 제안하고자 한다. 이때 문학작품들은 디지털 콘텐츠로 제작 및 운용되도록 하였다.

Blog Citations as Indicators of the Societal Impact of Research: Content Analysis of Social Sciences Blogs

  • This article analyzes motivations behind social sciences blog posts citing journal articles in order to find out whether blog citations are good indicators for the societal impact or benefits of research. A random sample of 300 social sciences blog posts (out of 1,233 blog posts) from ResearchBlogging.org published between 01/01/2012 to 18/06/2014 were subjected to content analysis. The 300 blog posts had 472 references including 424 journal articles from 269 different journals. Sixty-one (22.68%) of all cited journals were from the social sciences and most of the journals with high frequency were highly cited general science journals such as PNAS and Science. Seventy-five percent of all journals were referenced only once. The average age of articles cited at the time of citation was 5.8 years. Discussion and criticism were the two main categories of motivations. Overall, the study shows the potential of blog citations as an altmetric measure and as a proxy for assessing the research impact. A considerable number of citation motivations in blogs such as disputing a belief, suggesting policies, providing a solution to a problem, reacting to media, criticism and the like seemed to support gaining societal benefits. Societal benefits are considered as helping stimulate new approaches to social issues, or informing public debate and policymaking. Lower self-citation (compared to some other altmetric measures such as tweets) and the fact that blogging involves generating content (i.e. an intellectual process) give them an advantage for altmetrics. However, limitations and contextual issues such as disciplinary differences and low uptake of altmetrics, in general, in scholarly communication should not be ignored when using blogs as a data source for altmetrics.

시간성과 모더니티 -윌리암스의 『봄과 모든 것』을 중심으로 (Temporality and Modernity: A Reading of William Carlos Williams's Spring and All)

  • Modern poetry begins as criticism of modernity and, by so doing, rejects its idea of time. Modernity emphasizes sequential, linear, and irreversible time and progress. Williams rejects the modern view of time, and attempts to substitute literature for history assuming that literature can take us into the immediacy of time. His poetry asserts the true moment of experience as an immediacy, of words co-existent with things. He suggests that modernity and its idea of time already led to World War I and could clearly lead to an actual, manmade apocalypse with continued technological progress. Already in the 1920s, Williams sensed that he was living in a world where such an end could come all true, which is why Spring and All, his greatest early achievement, begins with a parody of the modern apocalypse. Throughout the work, Williams criticizes "crude symbolism" and expresses his longing to annihilate "strained associations," for he believes that the metaphoric or symbolic association is related to order, the center, and the traditional concept of time itself. The metonymic model of Spring and All substitutes a self-reflexive, open-ended, and indeterminate structure of time for the linear and closed one. Instead of supplying an end, Williams only asserts the rebirth of time and attempts to arrive at immediacy while attacking the mediacy of traditional art. His characteristic use of fragmentation and abrupt juxtapositions disrupts the reader's generic, conceptual, syntactic, and grammatical expectations. His radical poetic experiments, such as the isolation of words and the disruption of syntax, produce a sense of immediacy and force the reader to confront the presence of the poem. His destruction of traditional forms, of the tyrannous designs of history and time, opens up rather than closes the possibility of signification, and takes us into a moment of beginning while disallowing temporal distancing. Spring and All, as a criticism of the modern idea of time, asks us to view Williams's work not as an ahistorical text but as a cultural subversion of modernity.
