In this paper, temperature stable current and voltage references using simple CMOS bias circuit are proposed. To obtain temperature stable characteristics of bias circuit a bandgap reference concept is used in a conventional circuit. The parasitic bipolar transistors or MOS transistors having different threshold voltage are required in a bandgap reference. Thereby the chip area increase or the extra CMOS process is required compared to a standard CMOS process. The proposed reference circuit can be integrated on a single chip by a standard CMOS process without the extra CMOS process. From the simulation results, the reference current variation is less than ${\pm}$0.44% over a temperature range from - $20^{\circ}C$ to $80^{\circ}C$. And the voltage variation is from - 0.02% to 0.1%.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of self-concept, reference group, consumer education, and materialism on the propensity for conspicuous consumption of adolescents. The data used in this study were collected through questionnaires on 604 adolescents living in Cheju City. The data were analyzed by using SPSS PC(sup)+ program. The propensity for conspicuous consumption of adolescents differed significantly according to their age and allowance, and sex. The propensity for conspicuous consumption of the middle school students was higher than that of the high school students. The propensity for conspicuous consumption of boys was higher than of girl’s. The propensity for conspicuous consumption of the adolscents was influenced by materialism and the reference group. According to the results of the multiple regression analysis, the most influential factor was materialism and reference group. In clothing materialism was the most influential factor and the reference group was the second influential factor. But In shoes, bag, and school supplies the reference group was the most influential factor and materialism was the second influential factor.

In the paper an multivariable decoupling self-tuning algorithm is proposed for controller design, by specifying the closed-loop behaviour of the system in the form of a reference model, so that the controller parameters can be estimated on-line as the process development. The effectiveness of this algorithm in controlling multivariable systems is demonstrated by simulation example in spite of the usual implementation problems of self-tuning controllers.

In this paper, a self-tuning controller design is proposed by using pole-zero placement method and considering a system time delay. To got better tracking for the generalized self-tuning controller, pole placement method for the closed loop system and zero placement method for the error transfer function are Introduced. The proposed method shows better efficiency than pole placement method for minimizing tracking error. Simulation gives good results in tie reference signal tracking.

This study examines self-reflexive scenes of Changgeuk [창극; Korean classical opera] Seopyenje [서편제]. This show deals with Pansori [판소리; a kind of Korean folk play] and its singers. The uniqueness of this show is that although it is a new creative work of Changgeuk, the traditional Pansori music is used intactly. These characteristics are related to some self-reflexive scenes in the show: the narcissistic reference of Pansori makes to seem that this show inherits a artistry of Pansori; a play within a play and a role-play reinforce a reality on the action and characters of outer play; an intertextuality, bringing the narrative and music of Pansori Simcheong-ga [심청가] in this show, it makes audiences spontaneously discover a connection between the cited original text and the hypertext. Namely, the self-reflexivity of Changgeuk Seopyenje doesn't destroy an illusion, but rather it presents a kind of conservative self-reflexivity which uncovers a part of tricks for the illusion in order to create new illusion.

This paper aims at studying the new SCORM based e-Learning system and self-course design method. To construct this aims, we have researched the merits, shortcomings and characteristics of the previous LMS(Learning Management System) and we have researched the merits, shortcomings and characteristics of SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model). SCORM was suggested ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning) to elevate the reusability of learning contents. Also we have researched the related researches of SCORM, SCORM based LMS and case studies. This paper suggests the level based self learning and course design and the system based on SCORM. This system has elevated the effectiveness and satisfaction of the learners.

Recent advances in digital holography in the far-infrared region of the spectrum have demonstrated the potential use of digital holography in homeland security as a tool to observe hostile environments in which smoke, flames, and dust impair vision. However, to make this application practical, it is necessary to simplify the optical setup. Here, we show an off-axis, self-reference scheme that spills the reference beam out from the object beam itself and avoids the need for a complex interferometric arrangement. We demonstrate that this scheme allows the reconstruction of high-quality holograms of objects captured under visible as well as far-infrared light exposure. This could pave the way to the industrialization of holographic systems to enable users to see through fire. Moreover, the quantitative nature of the holographic signal is preserved. Thus, the reported results demonstrate the possibility to use this setup for optical metrology.

The transient voltage characteristics of capacitor self-exited induction generator are analyzed by the state equation which is obtained from the d-q axis equivalent circuit of stationary reference frame and torque equation. The d-q equivalent circuit is composed using the condition of stationary reference frame. The mutual inductance is only considered as a function of magnetizing current in the equivalent circuit. The characteristics are analyzed and discussed by the backward Euler method for various load conditions under specified initial conditions and input.

In this paper, an attempt has been made to design the current and speed proportional and integral (PI) regulators of self-commutating current source inverter-fed induction motor drive having capacitors at the machine end and to investigate the transient performance of the same for step changes in reference speed. The mathematical model of the complete drive system is developed in closed loop, and the characteristic equations of the systems are derived using perturbation about steady-state operating point in order to develop the characteristic equations. The D-partition technique is used for finding the stable region in the parametric plane. Frequency scanning technique is used to confirm the stability region. Final selection of the regulator parameters is done by comparing the transient response of the current and speed loops for step variations in reference. The performance of the drive is observed analytically through MATLAB simulation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the coping behaviors related to menopause experience in woman. Method: The research method used was Q-methodology. The statement of self-reference was derived from face to face interviews with 10 womens. Statements were categorized by the researcher according to semantics. From categories of the Q-population 27 of the self reference statement were selected and 39 of the women were selected with consideration of given to diversity in socio-demographic background. Based on a 1 to 9 point scale, the selected menopausal women were made to participated in the Q-sorting. Analysis of Q-type was obtained by use of the QUNAL program. Result: There are three type of menopause experience of Korean women. 1. The first type focused on active coping relate to menopause. 2. The second type focused on mind control related to menopause. 3. The third type focused on religious support related to menopause. Conclusion: It is suggested that the results of this study may contribute to the development strategies for the purpose of health promotion middle aged women.
