국내 온라인 게임 산업 생태계 분석 : 개발사-퍼블리셔 관계를 중심으로 (Analyzing the Ecosystem of the Domestic Online Game Industry : Focusing on the Linkage between Developers and Publishers)

  • This study aims to analyze the structure and characteristics of the domestic online game industry using network analysis. In particular, two-mode network analysis is employed to measure the network structure, centrality, and cluster for two types of online game platforms, online games and mobile games, from 1996 to 2014. We also conduct a dynamic analysis to capture the structural changes in the ecosystem by internal and external environmental changes before and after turning point for each online game platform. It is revealed that the online game econsystem has the higher number of clusters and higher concentration ratio than those of mobile game ecosystem. In dynamic analysis, both platforms exhibit similar trends over time with the increasing number of clusters, enlargement of largest cluster's size, and decreasing concentration ratio. This study is expected to provide fruitful implications for strategic decision making of online game companies and policy making for the online game industry.

The Causal Linkage Between Perceived E-Learning Usefulness and Student Learning Performance: An Empirical Study from Vietnam

  • The current study adds to the body of knowledge about the mediation in the causal link between students' perceptions of the utility of eLearning and their learning performance. The data was collected from 500 questionnaires that were delivered to the students at the Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City. Only 422 finished questionnaires were usable for analyses, indicating a responding rate of 84.4%. Multiple regressions were used to investigate causal correlations, whereas Goodman's (1960) techniques were used to investigate mediating relationships. The major findings reveal that both the utility and adoption of eLearning have an impact on students' learning performance, with usefulness being a crucial determinant of eLearning adoption for study. More meaningfully, statistical evidence on the mediation of adopting eLearning for study in the causal linkage from the usefulness of eLearning perceived by students to their learning performance was provided. The relevance of using eLearning for study is stressed in this study, where it is not only one of the key antecedents of their learning performance, but also acts as a mediator between the usefulness of eLearning and learning performance in the research model.

Identification of Candidate Genes Associated with Beef Marbling Using QTL and Pathway Analysis in Hanwoo (Korean Cattle)

  • Marbling from intramuscular fat is an important trait of meat quality and has an economic benefit for the beef industry. Quantitative trait loci (QTL) fine mapping was performed to identify the marbling trait in 266 Hanwoo steers using a 10K single nucleotide polymorphism panel with the combined linkage and linkage disequilibrium method. As a result, we found nine putative QTL regions for marbling: three on BTA6, two on BTA17, two on BTA22, and two on BTA29. We detected candidate genes for marbling within 1 cM of either side of the putative QTL regions. Additionally, to understand the functions of these candidate genes at the molecular level, we conducted a functional categorization using gene ontology and pathway analyses for those genes involved in lipid metabolism or fat deposition. In these putative QTL regions, we found 95 candidate genes for marbling. Using these candidate genes, we found five genes that had a direct interaction with the candidate genes. We also found SCARB1 as a putative candidate gene for marbling that involves fat deposition related to cholesterol transport.

과학기술 학술정보서비스의 연계 및 융합에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Linkage and Convergence of Academic Information Services in Science and Technology)

  • 연구 생산성의 향상을 위해서는 최신의 정보를 빠르게 습득하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 이를 위해 연구자들은 다양한 경로와 방법으로 정보 자원을 찾고 이를 연구개발 과정에서 활용하고 있다. 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)에서 연구정보 생태계를 지원하기 위해 사이언스온(ScienceOn)이라는 과학기술 지식인프라 통합서비스를 개발하여 전문정보를 비롯하여 인프라 자원, 산업 및 기술 분석 자원들을 한곳에서 제공하고 있다. 이를 통해 다양한 정보와 서비스들의 연계와 융합을 통한 접근성과 활용성을 높여주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 과학기술 학술정보 통합서비스에 대한 최근 연구개발 동향과 과학기술 지식인프라들을 분석하여 이용 목적에 따라 묶음 형태로 활용이 가능한 추천 패키지서비스를 제안하였다. 과학기술 학술정보에 대한 연계 및 융합서비스를 통한 국가 R&D 생산성 향상을 기대해 본다.

수요유도형 모형을 이용한 4차 산업혁명 산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (The Analysis of Economic Impact for Fourth Industrial Revolution Industry using Demand-driven Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 산업연관표와 한국표준산업분류를 비교하여 4차 산업혁명 관련 산업을 제조업, 정보통신서비스, 금융 및 보험서비스 그리고 과학기술서비스 4부문으로 재분류하였다. 그리고 수요유도형 모형을 이용해 4부문 산업을 외생화하여 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였다. 생산유발효과, 부가가치유발효과, 취업유발효과에 대한 분석결과, 제조업, 정보통신서비스 그리고 과학기술서비스 부문에서는 도소매 및 상품중개서비스가 큰 것으로 계측되었고, 금융 및 보험서비스 부문에서는 금융 및 보험서비스가 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 수입유발효과는 4차 산업 모든 부문에서 광산품이 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 전후방연쇄효과 분석결과, 제조업과 정보통신서비스 부문은 경기변동에 민감한 중간수요적 원시사업형이고, 금융 및 보험서비스와 과학기술서비스 부문은 최종수요적 원시사업형임을 확인하였다.

국내 다소비 횟감의 콜라겐과 조직감 특성 (Collagen and Texture Properties of Commonly Consumed Fish Species in Korea as Sliced Raw Fishes)

  • This study investigated the collagen and texture properties of commonly consumed sliced raw fish species (CC-SRF) [olive flounder (OF), red seabream (RS), Atlantic salmon (AS), coho salmon (CoS) and sockeye salmon (SS)] distributed in Korea as sliced raw fishes. The crude lipid contents of CC-SRF were 5.5% for OF, 6.8% for RS, 18.5% for AS, 16.1% for CoS, and 5.7% for SS. The collagen content and solubility from CC-SRF were 622 mg/100 g and 78.0%, respectively, in OF, 270 mg/100 g and 75.6%, respectively, in RS, 237 mg/100 g and 24.1%, respectively, in AS, 341 mg/100 g and 65.7%, respectively, in CoS, and 246 mg/100 g and 17.9%, respectively, in SS. The texture of CC-SRF was affected by the lipid content, collagen content, acid solubility, hydroxylation, and cross linkage degree. The highest hardness of CC-SRF was obtained from OF, followed by RS, SS, AS and CoS. There was, however, no difference (P>0.05) in hardness between OF and RS and between AS and CoS.

정보보호 산업의 경제적 파급효과 및 기여도 분석 (Economic ripple effect and growth contribution of information security industry)

  • 본 연구는 산업연관분석을 통하여 국내 정보보호 제조 및 서비스 산업의 경제파급효과를 분석한 것이다. 분석 결과, 정보보호 제품의 생산유발계수는 전 산업 평균보다 크지만, 정보보호 서비스는 전 산업 평균을 크게 하회하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 부가가치유발계수 및 고용유발계수의 경우 정보보호 서비스는 전 산업 평균을 크게 상회하는데 반해, 정보보호 제품은 전 산업 평균에 미치지 못해 생산유발계수와 대조적인 결과를 보였다. 전ㆍ후방 연쇄효과는 정보보호 제품 및 서비스 모두 산업 평균보다 낮은 수준으로 나타났다. 그리고 정보보호 산업은 전반적으로 국민경제에 미치는 성장 기여도와 고용기여도가 미약한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 정보보호 제품의 경우 고용기여도가 마이너스를 기록해 해당 부문의 고용증대를 위한 노력이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.

  • Internet of Thing(IoT), which is recently talked about with the development of information and communication technology, provides big data to all nodes such as companies and homes, means of transportation etc. by connecting all things with all people through the integrated global network and connecting all actual aspects of economic and social life with Internet of Thing through sensor and software. Defining Internet of Thing, it plays the role of a connector of providing various information required for the decision-making of companies in the cloud computing environment for the Insight usage by collecting and storing Raw Data of the production site through the sensor network and extracting big data in which data is accumulated and Insight through this. In addition, as the industry showing the largest linkage with other root industries among root industries, the mold industry is the core technology for controlling the quality and performance of the final product and realizing the commercialization of new industry such as new growth power industry etc. Recently, awareness on the mold industry is changing from the structure of being labor-intensive, relying on the experience of production workers and repeating modification without the concept of cost to technology-intensive, digitization, high intellectualization due to technology combination according to IT convergence. This study, therefore, is to provide a golden opportunity to increase the direct and indirect expected effects in poor management activities of small businesses by actually implementing and managing the entire process of mold life cycle to information system from mold planning to mass production and preservation by building SME(small and medium-sized enterprises)-type mold life cycle management information system in the cloud computing environment and applying it to the production site.

An Economic Ripple Effect Analysis of Domestic Supercomputing Simulation in the Industrial Sector

  • The manufacturing industry is the foundation that drives economic growth, and manufacturing innovation is essential for sustainable growth advantage and the transition into a digital economy. Therefore, major countries actively support the field of simulations, which incorporate information and communication technologies into manufacturing, and announce various policies at the national level along with increasing investment. Simulation technology virtualizes product development processes to replace physical production and experimentation of products, dramatically reducing time and costs. In South Korea, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) has supported manufacturing companies for about 14 years by providing relevant technologies. This study uses the input-output table for the Bank of Korea to analyze the economic ripple effect. First, we identified the domestic industrial sector dealing with the supercomputing-based simulation industry. Then we analyzed its ripple effects by dividing them into the production inducement effect, value-added inducement effect, employment inducement effect, and forward/backward linkage effect. Consequently, when the supercomputing simulation budget of KISTI (28.3 billion won, 2007-2020) was set as an input coefficient, the analysis showed 45.1 billion won as the production inducement effect, 24.7 billion won as the value-added inducement effect, and 282 individuals per 1 billion won as the employment inducement effect. This study is significant in that it derived the effects of the inputs by analyzing the economic ripple effects of the projects of KISTI, which have been supporting South Korean manufacturing companies for the past 14 years with supercomputing-based simulations.

대전.충청권 타올 산업 연계의 공간적 특성과 정책적 함의 (Spatial Features of the Linkages Developed in the Towel Industry in the Daejeon and Chungcheong Regions and their Implications on Government Policy)

  • 본 연구는 타올 산업이 집적한 대전 충청권을 사례로, 타올 산업 집적지의 형성 과정을 산업 재구조화를 중심으로 고찰하고, 타올 산업 생산 연계의 공간적 특성을 하청 연계를 중심으로 파악하며, 이러한 타올 산업 하청 연계의 공간적 특성이 관련 정책에 주는 함의를 규명하고자 했다. 이 지역에서 타올 산업이 성장하기 시작한 것은, 한국 전쟁 이후 북한 출신 직물 기술자들이 정착하면서 관련 기술과 정보가 지역 내에 확산되었기 때문이다. 이후 타올 산업은 1980년대에 재구조화를 거치면서 사회적 분업에 의한 기업별 전문화를 통해, 지역 내 기업 간 긴밀한 연계를 형성하게 되었다. 따라서 타올산업 지역에 대한 정책을 추진하는 경우에는, 산업 자체의 특성은 물론, 이와 같은 산업 연계와 연계 공간에 대한 고려가 선행되어야 할 것이다.
