A Study on the Satisfaction Analysis of Information Service for Port Logistics (항만물류 정보서비스의 만족도 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Information which port provide to users including shipping companies is essential information for their business performance. Thus, information service of several services which port provide to shipping company is also very important port-logistics service. However, despite of this importance, there have been little research related to port-logistics information service. The aim of this study is to analyze the satisfaction of information service for port logistics. To achieve this objective, evaluation criteria consisting of 16 items based on the previous research was established. And satisfaction index that can effectively show the current level of information service for port logistics was developed. The results of analysis showed that satisfaction index of information service provided by Busan port was 61.90. And from the data analysis, it was revealed that current level of information service in whole area was less than 63 points. It was implied that improvement for overall port-logistics information service was needed. Finally, from the follow-up research, it was found that information service provided by Busan port have weakness in the aspects of unification of information and celerity of information.

Developing Measurements of University Satisfaction using Public Customer Satisfaction Index (공공기관 고객만족지수를 이용한 대학의 고객만족 측정도구 개발)

  • With the higher competition of university environment, universities has been adapted Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). However, the problem of CSI focuses on score and ranking announcement. In public sectors, PCSI model is used because of increasing its strategic utilization by providing diagnosis of the phenomenon and direction for future improvement through causal model analysis. The purpose of this research is to develop a measurements of university satisfaction using PCSI. This research demonstrates validity and reliability of PCSI using test-retest method using multi-group confirmatory factor analysis. The results of this research indicate that the reliability and validity of the PCSI model is verified. Service product quality, service delivery quality, environment quality and social quality have positive effects on customer satisfaction. In turn, customer satisfaction have positve effects on university performance and social performance. In conclusion, service quality, PCSI, and service performance are clarified to be appropriate components of the satisfaction survey. These results can be used to measure the satisfaction level of education at actual universities. It is expected that practical basic data can be obtained to improve the quality of university education.

Case Study of Treating Acne Scar Using Scar Regeneration Acupuncture Therapy and Micro-needle Therapy (흉터재생침과 미세피부침을 이용한 여드름 흉터의 치험례)

  • Objectives : There are numerous methods in treating acne scar. On the contrary there are hardly any cases on treating acne scars through Korean medicine. By observing we compared how much acne scar was treated by scar regeneration acupuncture therapy and micro-needle therapy treatment through observing pre and post case photos, KAGS, KCADI and patient satisfaction. Results : By comparing pre and post procedure through acne scar grade criteria, total of 5 patients showed improvement and could see distinct change in skin comparing case photos. After comparing pre and post procedures, total of 5 patients showed improvements in figures of Korean acne index. 4 patients replied very satisfied and 1 replies satisfied on patient satisfaction survey. Conclusions : After observing patients satisfaction, and comparing case photos, acne scar grade criteria, korean acne index, it can be considered that scar regeneration acupuncture therapy and micro-needle therapy done in our clinic to be valid treatment.

  • As the 21century enters information era, female scientists and engineers are expected to play important roles more than ever. In Korea, female s roles in such areas have been traditionally limited. In order to find the effective ways of boosting those roles in a social network, we employ an SEM (Structural Equation Model) where the relationship between various factors and the satisfaction level of women scientists and engineers is examined. We expect that the results obtained from this analysis can contribute to improving the environment of women scientists and engineers in each field.

  • The aims of this study was to suggest a new efficiency measurement indicator for evaluating the management efficiency of decision making units(DMUs) in the contract foodservice industry. The data envelopment analysis(DEA) model which considers multiple inputs and outputs and looking for benchmarks, was used to compare the productivity of DMUs. We considered sales, profits, and customer satisfaction as output variables and it adopted food cost, labor cost and administrative expense as input variables. The results of applying DEA revealed relatively efficient types of business and service types. The efficiency of school units was highest and the mired service type was the most efficient one. In this study the CCR model efficiency was analysed with profit and the customer satisfaction index by the matrix method. DEA efficiency was correlated with profit but there was no correlation between DEA efficiency and the customer satisfaction index.

  • In this paper, we propose development of new products including the proposed process of at the customer's requirements. The success of new product development depends on customer satisfaction in the marketplace. Existing product development process, including the customer's interest was weak. In this paper, we propose development of new products which include Kano's attractive quality factor method and Timko's customer satisfaction index factor method. Also we verified new medical treatment of incontinence-nency which is applied to the proposed process.

  • The objectives of this study are investigate the satisfaction index and determined the characteristics of visitors. Also present the issues and direction for development of rural-experience village. This study area is seven villages of rural experience in Cheongwongun, Chungcheongbukdo. This place consists rural cooperative tourism model project that is pursued to Cooperative Tourism Model Project by the government. The projects are forming a network of towns and themes to be exhumed. The purpose of this project inner improves the ability of residents and external to contents diversification. This polling in the February-March 2008 was conducted between visitor 330 people. The question is personal information, satisfaction and rural tourism experience of detail as part of a total of 22.

  • The Customer Satisfaction which effects directly the performance of almost all companies. Therefore, it is very important for a company to reflect totally market environment which can be changed fast and diversely by customer requirements. In spite of many studies on the marketing decision, it has been rarely applied for the quantitative method and result of Customer Satisfaction Index Assessment in the marketing decision process. This study used ANP(Analytic Network Process) approach permitting the interdependent relationship between hierarchy and decision factors in the decision process. Moreover, we propose the method which represents efficiently the Customer Satisfaction Index so that the Suggested Model in this study becomes Customer-Oriented.

Quality Dynamics Using a Modified Satisfaction Index (수정된 고객만족지수를 이용한 품질속성의 동태성 분석)

  • It is well known that the Kano model measures customer satisfaction and classifies quality attributes into must-be, attractive as well as one-dimensional. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the dynamics of e-learning quality attributes by applying the proposed method using Kano's satisfaction index in the rapidly changing online learning environment. For this, the current study examined 27 e-learning quality attributes and conducted a comparative study using Kano's results obtained in 2013 and 2020. The result shows that the dynamics of quality attributes suggested by Kano(2001) is confirmed in the case of e-learning. The proposed approach shows better results in terms of Kano's direct classification method, and has potential application areas such as IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) in the area of risk assemement. Some suggestions for better understanding of the proposed SI-DI diagram are also included in this study.

The effect of tongue cleaner-equipped manual toothbrush on tooth and tongue cleanness and malodor index (혀 세정기가 부착된 수동칫솔이 치아와 혀의 세정도 및 구취 관리도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of tongue cleaner-equipped manual toothbrush on tooth cleanness, tongue cleanness and malodor index. Materials and methods: 504 subjects were included in this study. At 1st visit, basic information such as age, sex, smoking amount and alcohol consumption was recorded. Self assessment by individual subjects was performed regarding satisfaction to old toothbrush and toothbrushing habit. Tooth cleanness, tongue cleanness and malodor index was assessed by professional researcher. Tongue cleaner-equipped manual toothbrush was given to each subject with proper toothbrushing instruction. After 1 month passed, self assessment and researcher assessment regarding the same index were performed and analyzed statistically by chi-square test. Results: At 1st visit subjects seem to ignore tongue cleansing and showed poor tooth cleanness index, tongue cleanness index and malodor index, however the same subjects were motivated to clean their tongue and teeth and presented statistically improved distribution pattern in tooth cleanness index, tongue cleanness index and malodor index after using tongue cleaner-equipped manual toothbrush(p<0.01). Satisfaction to tongue cleaner-equipped manual toothbrush was 98%. Conclusion: Tongue cleaner-equipped manual toothbrush would be an effective tool for maintaining good oral hygiene through improving tooth and tongue cleanness and preventing malodor formation.
