가속 Uzawa 방법을 이용한 유도전하계산법 (Induced Charge Distribution Using Accelerated Uzawa Method)

  • 분자동역학에서의 원자들의 유도전하를 계산하기 위해서는 유도전하를 미지수로 하는 선형방정식을 풀어야 하는데 원자들의 위치가 변화할 때마다 필요한 계산이므로 상당한 계산비용이 요구된다. 따라서 효율적인 유도전하 계산 방법은 다양한 시스템을 해석하기 위해서 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 constraints가 존재하는 Lagrange 방정식의 해에 대한 선형 시스템, 즉 saddle point를 가지는 문제를 해결하기 위해서 Uzawa method를 도입하였다. Uzawa 매개변수가 수렴 속도에 영향을 미치는 단점을 극복하고 행렬 연산의 효율성을 위해서 Schur complement와 preconditioned conjugate gradient (PCG) 방법을 통해 계산의 효율성을 극대화하는 가속 Uzawa algorithm을 적용한다. 두 금속 나노입자가 전기장에 놓여진 분자동역학 수치모델을 통해서 제시된 방법이 유도전하계산의 수렴성, 효율성 측면에서 모두 향상된 결과를 도출함을 확인하였다. 특히 기존의 가우스 소거법에 의한 계산보다 약 1/10으로 계산비용이 절감되었고, 기본 Uzawa method에 비하여 conjugate gradient (CG)의 높은 수렴성이 입증되었다.

  • The zero-distribution of the Fourier integral $${\int}^{\infty}_{-{\infty}}\;Q(u)e^{p(u)+^{izu}du$$, where P is a polynomial with leading term $-u^{2m}(m\;{\geq}\;1)$ and Q an arbitrary polynomial, is described. To this end, an asymptotic formula for the integral is established by applying the saddle point method.

2 자유도 비선형 연성시스템에서 내부공진과 안정성 변화 (Internal Resonance and Stability Change for the Two Degree Nonlinear Coupled System)

  • To understand the concept of dynamic motion in two degree nonlinear coupled system, free vibration not including damping and excitation is investigated with the concept of nonlinear normal mode. Stability analysis of a coupled system is conducted, and the theoretical analysis performed for the bifurcation phenomenon in the system. Bifurcation point is estimated using harmonic balance method. When the bifurcation occurs, the saddle point is always found on Poincare's map. Nonlinear phenomenon result in amplitude modulation near the saddle point and the internal resonance in the system making continuous interchange of energy. If the bifurcation in the normal mode is local, the motion remains stable for a long time even when the total energy is increased in the system. On the other hand, if the bifurcation is global, the motion in the normal mode disappears into the chaos range as the range becomes gradually large.

  • 본 논문에서는 다층매질 안에 위치한 안테나의 방사특성을 해석하고 있다. 접지면이 없는 유전체 기판에 인쇄된 안테나의 경우, 매질의 구성은 공기층을 포함하여 3층매질이 되며 이러한 3층매질의 Green 함수은 Sommerfeld적분식으로 표현되기 때문에 해석이 매우 복잡해진다. 그러나 안테나위 방사특성을 해석하는데 있어서는 적분식의 조건이 잘 일치한다면 Sadddle-point법을 이용하여 근사할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 근사법을 적용하여 접지면이 없는 유전체 기판에 놓인 각종 안테나의 방사패턴 특성을 해석한다. 또한 기판으로 사용하는 유전체의 파라미터를 달리하여 방사특성을 검토한다.

최단 전압붕괴점 계산을 위한 개선된 직접법과 재급전에 의한 전압안정도 향상 (Improved Direct Method for Calculating the Closest Voltage Collapse Point and Voltage Stability Enhancement by Generation Redispatch)

  • The distance in load parameter space to the closest saddle node bifurcation (CSNB) point provides the worst case power margin to voltage instability and the left eigenvector at CSNB identifies the most effective direction to steer the system to maximize voltage stability under contingency. This paper presents an improved direct method for computing CSNB: the order of nonlinear systems equations is reduced to about twice of the size of load flow equations in contrast to about three-times in Dobson's direct method; the initial guess for the direct method is computed efficiently and robustly by combined use of continuation power flow, a pair of multiple load flow solution with Lagrange interpolation. It is also shown that voltage stability may be enhanced significantly with shift of generations in the direction of the left eigenvector at CSNB.

자전거 안장의 연체압 분포와 주관적 안락도의 상관성에 관한 연구 (Correlation between the subjective comfort and elastic body pressure distribution on a bicycle saddel)

  • In bicycle design, saddle is the major part which effects the subjective comfort of rider. This study examines the correlation between the subjective comfort and elastic body pressure. The elastic body pressure measuring instrument for free-form surface such as saddle is developed by force sensor register, A/D converter and computer. The subjective comfort is measured quantit- atively by 11-point scale method and the elastic body pressure distribution is obtained through 3 different saddles at 4 postures. The pressure distribution is presented by computerized equi- pressure contour. While mean pressure, standard deviation of pressure, maximum pressure are inversely proportional to subjective comfort, the modified saddle-bearing weight which is the surface integral of pressure is directly proportional. Consequently, standard deviation of pressure is most important characteristic which affects variation of subjective comfort.

최단전압붕괴점을 계산하는 개선된 직접법 (Improved Direct Method for Computing a Closest Voltage Collapse Point)

  • This paper presents improved direct method for calculating the closest saddle node bifurcation (CSNB) point, which is also applicable to the selection of appropriate load shedding, reactive power compensation point detection. The proposed method reduced dimension of nonlinear equation compared with that of Dobson's direct method. The improved direct method, utilizing Newton Iterative method converges very quickly. But it diverges if the initial guess is not very close to CSNB. So the direct method is performed with the initial values obtained by carrying out the iterative method twice, which is considered most efficient at this time. Since sparsity techniques can be employed, this method is a good choice to a large scale system on-line application. Proposed method has been tested for 5-bus, New England 30-bus system.

  • An iterative numerical computational algorithm is presented to design a plate of shell element subjected to membrane and flexural forces. Based on equilibrium consideration, equations for capacities of top and bottom reinforcements in two orthogonal directions have been derived. The amount of reinforcement is determined locally, i. e., for each sampling point, from the equilibrium between applied and internal forces. One case of design is performed for a hyperbolic paraboloid saddle shell (originally used by Lin and Scordelis) to check the design strength against a consistent design load, therefore, to verify the adequacy of design practice for reinforced concrete shells. Based on nonlinear analyses performed, the analytically calculated ultimate load exceeded the design ultimate load from 14-43% for an analysis with relatively low to high tension stiffening, ${\gamma}$ =5~20 cases. For these cases, the design method gives a lower bound on the ultimate load with respect to Lower bound theorem. This shows the adequacy of the current practice at least for this saddle shell case studied. To generalize the conclusion many more designs-analyses are performed with different shell configurations.
