Zadeh에 의하여 소개된 퍼지 집합은 소속 함수를 이용하여 애매한 정보처리 및 추론을 가능토록 한 개념이다 Rough 집합의 개념은 Pawlak에 의하여 소개 되었으며.식별 곤란한 데이터의 분류, 축소 및 근사추론을 가능토록 한다. Pawlakl은 퍼지 집합과 Hough 집합을 서로 다른 개념으로 비교하여 서로 결합할 수 없는 것으로 정의하였다. 본 논문의 목적은 Pawlak의 정의와는 달리 퍼지 집합의 소속 함수를 Rough 집합에 적용함으로써 퍼지 집합과 Rough집합을 결합한 퍼지-rough집합의 개념을 정립하기 위한 것이다.

The notion of rough sets was introduced by Z. Pawlak in the year 1982. The notion of a $\Gamma$-semigroup was introduced by M. K. Sen in the year 1981. In 2003, Y. B. Jun studied the roughness of sub$\Gamma$-semigroups, ideals and bi-ideals in i-semigroups. In this paper, we study rough prime ideals and rough fuzzy prime ideals in $\Gamma$-semigroups.

To examine the possibility of using rough rice as a health-functional food, we investigated its changes in biological activity with germination. Antioxidant activities of the 70% ethanolic extracts of 'Goami2', 'Keunnunbeyo', and 'Heugkwangbeyo' were studied in comparison with those of ungerminated rough rice. The phytic acid level in rough rice decreased on germination, while the level of phenolic compounds increased. Reducing power increased in a dose-dependent manner and the germinated rough rice tended to have enhanced reducing power. Among the rough rice cultivars, the germinated 'Heugkwang' rough rice tended to be the most effective, with scavenging activities for the DPPH, superoxide, and hydroxyl radicals that were 1.6-, 1.3-, and 1.6-fold greater than those of the ungerminated 'Heugkwang' rough rice, respectively. We also found that the germination process increased antioxidant activity in all the rough rice cultivars, where activity was greatest for the 'Heugkwang' rough rice cultivar.

The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of the children's rough-and-tumble play, and investigate the differences in rough-and-tumble play according to children's gender and social competence. The subjects were 80 five to six year-old children. The children's behaviors during the outdoor play were observed by a modified version based on the Rough-and-Tumble Play Categories(Humphreys & Smith, 1987). Children's social competence was measured by using the Scale for the Social Competence of Kindergarten(Doh, 1994). The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANCOVA. The results were as follows: Firstly, about 25.6% of outdoor play types was rough-and-tumble play behaviors. Specifically, children's rough-and-tumble play was more 'chasing' behaviors than 'mock-fighting' behaviors. Secondly, boys involved in rough-and-tumble play more often than girls did. In general, boys participated more frequently in various rough-and-tumble play categories, whereas girls involved only in chasing behavior more often. Finally, controlled by sex, children with higher social competence participated more frequently in rough-and-tumble play, which showed statistical significance. In conclusion, children's rough-and-tumble play behaviors were related to the gender and the social competence.

This paper introduces a novel extension of soft rough fuzzy set so-called modified soft rough fuzzy set model in which new lower and upper approximation operators are presented together their related properties that are also investigated. Eventually it is shown that these new models of approximations are finer than previous ones developed by using soft rough fuzzy sets.

In this paper, we shall introduce the concept of rough antifuzzy subring and prove some theorems in this context. We have, if µ is an anti-fuzzy subring, then µ is a rough anti-fuzzy subring. Also we give some properties of homomorphism and anti-homomorphism on rough anti-fuzzy subring.

In this paper, we investigate general topological properties of rough triple sequences in a gradual normed space. We define some new notions such as rough gradual convergent of triple sequences, rough triple gradual Cauchy sequences, etc.
