  • Risk, probability of failure, which includes various uncertainties and influential factors of performance should be accounted for in engineering system. Recently, several different methods to analysis risk evaluation evolved and one of the practical method is FOSM (First Order Second Moment Method ). FOSM method is derived in terms of terms coefficient of variance to uncertainties which influence various factor. For risk evaluation and uncertainty analysis in hydraulic design system, load-capacity relationship is adopted in this paper. Sample catchment with design of sewer system is applied, which plots safety factor vs. risk. Risk evaluation and uncertainty analysis are very to important develop optimal design model in hydraulic system

위해인지도 맵을 이용한 나노기술 리스크 커뮤니케이션 연구 (Risk Communication Study for Nanotechnology Using Risk Cognitive Map)

  • Nanotechnology is the fastest growing area in scientific research and it has important applications in a wide variety of fields. Nevertheless, consumers encountered this new technology without any identification of risks and benefits. Also until now, there are no specific safety evaluation methods for nanotechnology. For this reason, we studied risk communication strategy for nanotechnology to prepare its application in commercialized products on public. A survey was conducted to identify the differences in perception between public (N=110) and expert (N=37) toward applied nanotechnology in food, drugs and cosmetic products. The survey results were used to draw up a risk cognitive map which was introduced by Paul Slovic, and the perception level of public and expert on nanotechnology was evaluated. As a result of the survey, public recognized nanotechnology as "unknown but low dread" risk factor, but expert recognized it as "unknown and high dread" risk factor. These results indicate that there are perception differences between two groups. Several risk communication strategies are reported including care, consensus and risk communication. In the case of nanotechnology, it contains both risks and benefits. Considering the nature of nanotechnology, the "consensus communication" which informs consumers about risks and benefits of issues is the most appropriate strategy.

해상교통환경 위험요소의 상대적 중요도를 고려한 목포항 및 진입수로의 위험도 평가 (Evaluation on Risk at the Port of Mokpo and its Approaches based on Relative Importance of Risk Factors for Marine Traffic Environment)

  • 해상교통환경의 위험도를 평가하기 위해서는 위험도를 구성하고 있는 위험요소들을 명확히 식별하고, 식별된 위험요소들을 평가할 수 있는 기준을 마련하여야 한다. 한편 이러한 각 위험요소들의 위험수준의 합으로 전체 위험도를 나타낼 수 있으므로, 각 위험요소가 전체 위험도에서 차지하는 비중인 상대적 중요도가 분석되어야 한다. 본 연구는 선행연구에서 국내 외 해상교통환경 위험도 평가모델들의 검토를 통하여 제시된 국내 해상교통환경의 위험도를 구성하는 20가지 위험요소와 평가기준 및 해상교통전문가 집단에 의한 설문조사를 통하여 계층분석적 의사결정법으로 분석한 각 위험요소의 상대적 중요도를 바탕으로, 국내 목포항 및 그 진입수로에 대한 해상교통환경의 위험도를 평가하였다. 목포항 및 그 진입수로는 비교평가를 위하여 총 4개의 해역으로 구분하여 분석하였으며, 분석결과 위험요소 해수운동 복잡성 예인선 도선사 선박교통관제 등에서 위험수준이 높게 나타난 정등해 항로의 위험도가 가장 높게 평가되었다. 이러한 평가결과는 동일한 해역에서 본 연구와는 다른 정성적 혹은 정량적 위험도 분석기법을 이용한 연구들의 평가결과와 대체로 일치하였다.

스마트 의류의 지각된 위험과 제품혁신성 평가에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Perceived Risk and Product Innovativeness Evaluation of Smart Clothing)

  • The purposes of this study were to explore the perceived risk of smart clothing, to classify consumers by risk perception of smart clothing, and to investigate the differences among the segmented groups in regard to the evaluation of newness and innovativeness of smart clothing. In addition, the relationship among perceived risk, evaluation of newness and innovativeness of smart clothing were examined. A questionnaire was administered to 338 male and female subjects aged from 17 to 50. Analysis was performed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis. The results showed that the perceived risk of smart clothing was composed of 4 factors: economic risk, social risk, functional risk and physical risk. Consumers were classified into four groups: high risk perception group, low economic risk perception group, low functional risk perception group, and low social risk perception group. ANOVA showed that there were significant differences among four groups regard to the evaluation of newness and innovativeness of smart clothing. High risk perception group most highly evaluated the newness and innovativeness of smart clothing. There were positive correlation among the perceived risks, the evaluation of the newness and innovativeness of smart clothing.

작업평가방법론 및 현장 적용 고찰 (A Survey on the Workload Evaluation Methods and Their Applications to WMSD Work in Industries)

  • To identify and evaluate the risk factors in WMSD work, a number of ergonomic workload evaluation methods have been developed. In the legal examination of WMSD risk factors, simple observational workload evaluation methods are widely used instead of using costly measurement equipments such as EMG and motion analyzer. The simple workload evaluation methods can be categorized into three groups; risk factor checklist methods, posture observation methods, and manual material handling task evaluation methods. In terms of the categories, this survey summarized several representative workload evaluation methods and compared them each other. Then some industrial application cases referring each the workload evaluation methods were surveyed. Due to the characteristics of each method, the selection and application procedure of workload evaluation method should be appropriate for the corresponding work. Therefore, some guidelines for the selection and application procedure of workload evaluation method were suggested.

  • 신세계는 테러리스트에 의한 세계무역센터의 공격으로 인해 테러로부터의 안전과 보호를 강화하기 위해 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 본 연구는 해상테러 위험요소의 구조와 우선순위를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 테러의 유형과 사례를 토대로 브레인스토밍법을 이용하여 해상테러 위험요소를 추출하였고, 퍼지구조모델법을 이용하여 위험요소를 그래프로 구조화 하였으며, 계층분석법을 이용하여 위험요소간의 우선순위를 분석하였다. 그 결과 외부영향이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다.

  • 일반적으로 리스크 관리는 리스크 확인, 리스크 분석, 리스크 평가, 리스크 대책, 리스크 재평가를 포함하는 일련의 과정으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 쉴드 TBM 터널에서 발생 가능한 리스크 요인들을 여러 문헌 자료와 워크샵을 바탕으로 조사하였다. 리스크 요인들은 지질 요인, 설계 요인, 시공 관리 요인으로 구분되었다. Fault Tree도는 리스크들을 커터, 기계 구속, 배토(굴진), 세그먼트과 관련된 4그룹으로 분류하여 작성되었다. FT도로부터 12가지 리스크 아이템을 확인하고 각각의 발생확률을 구하였다.

데이터 마이닝을 적용한 실업계 고등학생의 가출 예측모형 (A Forecast Model on Vocational High School for Runaway Students Using Data Mining)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate a forecast model designed to describe a vocational high school for runaway students. The study included 2000 adolescents from the KEEP(Korean Education and Employment Panel). A Data mining decision tree model revealed that: (1) Suicide ideation was a risk factor for running away among smokers. (2) High self-evaluation was a risk factor for running away among individuals that smoked and had no suicide ideation. (3) Drinking was predicted as a risk factor for no smokers, while family life dissatisfaction was predicted as a risk factor among non-smokers that drank. (4) Negative relationship with mother was predicted as a risk factor among non-drinking non-smoking.

고등학생의 자살사고 예측모형 : 데이터마이닝을 적용한 위험요인과 보호요인의 탐색 (A Forecast Model on High School Students' Suicidal Ideation: The Investigation Risk Factors and Protective Factors Using Data Mining)

  • This study examined risk factors and protective factors in high school students’ suicidal ideation. Participants were 2000 adolescents from the KEEP(Korean Education and Employment Panel). Data mining decision tree model revealed that: (1) Irrespective of sex, the most important predictor was father-adolescent relationship. (2) Positive mother-adolescent relationship was predicted as protective factor in condition of negative father-adolescent relationship. (3) Family activities was predicted as risk factor in condition of negative mother-adolescent relationship under the circumstances with negative father-adolescent relationship. (4) Low self-evaluation was predicted as risk factor in condition of serious agony about personality under the circumstances with positive father-adolescent relationship.
