With the advent of 4th industrial revolution, the manufacturing industry is converging with ICT and changing into the era of smart manufacturing. In the smart factory, all machines and facilities are connected based on ICT, and thus security should be further strengthened as it is exposed to complex security threats that were not previously recognized. To reduce the risk of security incidents and successfully implement smart factories, it is necessary to identify key security factors to be applied, taking into account the characteristics of the industrial environment of smart factories utilizing ICT. In this study, we propose a 'hierarchical classification model of security factors in smart factory' that includes terminal, network, platform/service categories and analyze the importance of security factors to be applied when developing smart factories. We conducted an assessment of importance of security factors to the groups of smart factories and security experts. In this study, the relative importance of security factors of smart factory was derived by using AHP technique, and the priority among the security factors is presented. Based on the results of this research, it contributes to building the smart factory more securely and establishing information security required in the era of smart manufacturing.
The importance of service science is emphasized in the modern economy, and the value and necessity of service research still increasing. Since the service research framework was proposed, it has been studied from various perspectives and incorporated into one framework--service research. The direction of service research has been established and a new baseline of research has been established. However, the modern economic and social environment could be described as a new era, the Fourth Industrial Revolution has changed drastically. More and more systematic research on services has become necessary. Therefore, this study analyzed the field of service research in the existing framework. The study suggested how service research could broaden the horizon of service research by studying the 'what'. To do this, we analyzed recent service research trends by themes. We also identified the shortcomings of previous studies about service, and suggested directions and research themes for future research. Based on this study we developed a general approach to the creation of new models from the viewpoint of service science. The authors were also able to develop a general approach to areas such as service innovation, service inference, service solution, and service design leverage. In addition, it is necessary to extend service research and business model to the utilization of service technology. This approach could contribute to forming the basis of future service development, and to utilize social media to create new value of innovative company. The results of this study could contribute to deepening and expanding service research.
According to the recent expansion of the network environment, the spread of smart devices is continuously increasing. With the spread of smart devices such as smart phones, smart pads and wearables, changes are taking place in smart technologies and IT convergence technologies. The development of smart technology is a key element of the 4th industrial technology. The Fourth Industrial Revolution expanded the new service-based industry by adding intelligence to residential, industrial and production environments using IT convergence and smart devices. Research on providing various services using smart technologies, such as smart home, smart factory, smart farm, and smart healthcare, is being conducted in variety. In particular, There is a sharp rise in smart homes due to the proliferation of IoT devices and the growth of sensor technology, control technology, applications, data management, and cloud services. Smart home services using smart technology provide residents with convenient, beneficial services and environments. Smart home service has complemented the existing home network service, but there still are flaws to be modified. In other words, the spread of smart devices, the development of service provider-oriented services, and the interlocking of services have limitations in providing services in consideration of user environment and user state. In order to solve this problem, this study proposes a smart home service system that considers the situation of the elderly.

The world demand of renewable bioenergy as an alternative transportation fuel is greatly increasing. Research for bioethanol production is currently being progressed intensively throughout the world. Therefore it will be necessary to develop bioethanol production with cellulosic materials. In this study, the yield of ethanol production was evaluated by simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) using sodium hydroxide pretreated sorghum ${\times}$ sudangrass hybrids. Composition analysis of 11 varieties of sorghum ${\times}$ sudangrass hybrids was performed for selection of excellent variety to efficiently produce bioethanol. The content of cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and ash of these varieties were 32~39%, 19~24%, 17~22% and 6~11%, respectively. Among these varieties, 4 varieties of sorghum ${\times}$ sudangrass hybrids were selected for the evaluation of ethanol yield and those were pretreated with 1 M NaOH solution at $150^{\circ}C$ for 30 min using high temperature explosion system. After pretreatment, samples were neutralized with tap water. It contained 52~57% of cellulose. Simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) was carried out for 48 h at $33^{\circ}C$ by Saccharomyces cerevisiae CHY1011 using Green star variety. The yield of ethanol was 92.4% and the amount of ethanol production was estimated at 6206 L/ha.
This study is kinematics for the manipulator development of cucumber harvesting. A theory value was verified by repeated error measurement after the forward kinematics or inverse kinematics analysis of manipulator. Manipulator is consisted of one perpendicular link and two revolution link. The transformation of manipulator can be valued by kinematics using Denavit-Hartenberg parameter. The value of inverse kinematics which is solved by three angles faction shows two types. Repeated errors refered maximum 2.60 mm, 2.05mm and 1.55 mm according to X, Y, Z axis. In this study, the actual coordinates of maximum point and minimum point were agreement in the forward kinematics or inverse kinematics. The results of repeated error measurement were reflect to be smaller compared to a diameter of cucumber. measurement errors were determined by experimented errors during the test. For reducing errors of manipulator and improving work efficiency, the number of link should be reduced and breeding and cultural environment should be considered to reduce the weight and use the hard stuff. The velocity of motor for working should be considered, too.

This he problem of youth unemployment is already a very serious social problem at home and abroad, and entrepreneurship, which is one of the ways to solve the problem of youth unemployment, has been studied with interest from various fields. Entrepreneurship not only overcomes the economic crisis, but also plays a role in nurturing innovative talents in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. For this reason, it can be said that research for activating entrepreneurship for college students is very important. The purpose of this study is to examine how individual entrepreneurial orientation and goal orientation affect economic entrepreneurial motivation and non-economic entrepreneurial motivation in order to confirm the effect of college students' economic entrepreneurial motivation and non-economic entrepreneurial motivation. In addition, in the relationship between individual entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial motivation (economical and non-economic), we will examine whether goal orientation has a mediating effect. As a result of the study, first, it was confirmed that the individual entrepreneurial orientation of university students had a positive (+) effect on the goal orientation. Second, it was confirmed that the goal orientation of college students had a positive (+) effect on economic entrepreneurial motivation and positive (+) influence on non-economic entrepreneurial motivation. third, it was confirmed that the individual entrepreneurial orientation of college students had a positive (+) effect on economic entrepreneurial motivation, and a positive (+) effect on non-economic entrepreneurial motivation. Fourth, it was confirmed that college students' goal orientation had a mediating effect in the relationship between individual entrepreneurial orientation and economic entrepreneurial motivation, and also had a mediating effect in the relationship between individual entrepreneurial orientation and non-economic entrepreneurial motivation.
The purpose of this study is to empirically identify the process of technology acceptance of the metaverse, a virtual world-based platform that has attracted attention due to the 4th industrial revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic. The technology acceptance model (TAM) was used to identify factors affecting the use of the metaverse platforms and to analyze the causal relationship among these factors. For research, a survey was conducted on ordinary adult men and women and was analyzed using a structural equation model. The study found that perceived pleasure, interactivity, self-efficacy, and social influence had a positive effect on perceived ease-of-use. Interactivity and social influence had a statistically significant effect on perceived usefulness. The relationship between perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness was not statistically significant, but both perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness had a significant effect on positively forming attitudes toward metaverse. Lastly, favorable attitudes toward the metaverse platform had a positive effect on the intention to continue using it. Through this study, it was possible to identify the factors affecting the intention to use the metaverse and to confirm the causal relationship between the factors. A deeper understanding of users may be obtained in future if the research subject can be expanded and investigated with various factors.

The act of design in landscape architecture consists of a concept within a designer's mind, technical representations, and finally, a process of construction. In the 4th Industrial Revolution, the design process is facing many changes due to the rapid development of computer technology and the IT ecosystem. Computer technology was initially developed for simple functions, such as mathematical calculation and graphic representation. However, after the spread of Personal Computers, starting with IBM and Macintosh, programming languages and hardware rapidly developed, algorithms and applications became specialized, and the purpose of using computers became very diverse. This study diagnoses issues concerning the functions and roles that new design methods, such as computational design, parametric design, and algorithmic design, can play in landscape architecture based on changes in the digital society. The study focused on the design methodology using parametric technology, which has recently received the most attention. First, the basis for discussion was developed by examining the main concepts and characteristics of parametric design in modern landscape architecture. Prior research on the use of parametric design in landscape architecture was analyzed, as were the case studies conducted by landscape design firms. As a result, it was confirmed that parametric design has not been sufficiently discussed in terms of the number and diversity of studies compared to other techniques investigated by landscape design firms. Finally, based on the discussion, the study examined specific cases and future possibilities of the parametric design in landscape architecture.
After critically assessing the effectiveness of basic income as an alternative to the existing social security system, this article argues that basic income is fundamentally incapable of providing an adequate protection for those in social risks or welfare needs. The proponents of basic income often claims that technological innovations will lead to the end of work and thus that basic income will be required for all citizens in the future. Moreover, they emphasize that labor market flexibility is making a large segment of work forces unstable working poor, what is often called the precariat who are not effectively protected by the existing social insurance programs. For them, basic income is the best source of social protection for the precariat of today and the citizens in the future, freeing them from the necessity of having a paid work. This article, however, points out the ineffectiveness of basic income as social protection due to its unustainably high cost that comes from unconditional benefit provisions regardless of levels of income, social risks, and welfare needs. Also it challenges the simplified 'Luddites' image of workless society in the future, arguning that techological unemployment can be overcome by new job creation as seen in Silicon Valley and job sharing following working time reduction. It maintains that it is more cost-effective and reliable to strengthen the welfare state based on the principle of reciprocity that aims at 'universal sufficient protection for those in social risks and welfare needs.'
The aim of this study was to apply the Importance-Performance Map (IPM) method based on PLS-SEM by extending the importance-performance analysis (IPA), which is an existing method to grasp strategic policies through the difference of importance and satisfaction of existing competitiveness factors. For this application, this study was applied to research related to policy measures that can survive and spread in global competition by analyzing strategic factors of information technology (IT) convergence industry. The development of IT convergence industry, which is the subject of this study, has the effect of revitalizing related industry development and employment activation. Therefore, this study expanded the possibility of applying this research methodology to research the strategic factors to activate exports of SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises) in the convergency industry. In order to achieve this goal, the analytical methodology of this study was applied and the policy measures for IT SMEs. Therefore, based on the analysis results of this study, this study can apply this research methodology to other fields as a strategic tool in establishing and enforcing policies for export activation of IT convergence industry.
