This paper considers the problem of stabilizing a composite system formed by interconnecting a number of single-input single-output linear continuous systems. The problem is general in the sense that in addition to the standard assumption about the uncertainty of the subsystems, the strength of interconnections is assumed unknown. A method to design a local adaptive feedback control is first presented, and then the resultant closed-loop system is assured to be globally stable. Also, a numerical example is illustrated via computer simulation.

Conducting polyaniline (PAni)-titanium dioxide ($TiO_2$) nanocomposites have been synthesized by the inverted emulsion polymerization method. The resultant PAni-$TiO_2$ nanocomposites are characterized with their structural, morphological, conducting and optical properties.

KOCC pulp was fractionated by air froth flotation and the resultant accept was further treated with kneading. The study on the effect of this combination process revealed that the flotation and the successive kneading were found to be effective in improving strength and drainage properties as well optical cleanliness of testliner based on 100% KOCC.

The method of forecasting advection fog at Busan area in July is developed using the Spreen's scatter-diagraam technique. The used Parameters are (1) air temperature (2) dew-point temperature, (3) sea surface temperature (4) resultantt wind direction (5) resultant wind speed in Busan. The skill score and the pcr cent correct based on 4 yeare of dependent data are 0.79 and 90.3% respectively.

Digital Subtraction Angiography(DSA) technique has been widely used to detect vascular diseases and hemodynamic parameters noninvasively. However, there are few quantitative studies on the factors in fluencing the resultant DSA image quality. In this paper, several important factors are suggested to improved the DSA image quality based on mathematical analysis. Experimental DSA images for different filters are shown and also discussed the difference between original and processed image quality.

It is discussed how a supplier should design a quantity discount pricing schedule for multiple buyers. It is emphasized that nor only the supplier's surplus but also each buyer's surplus resultant from quantity discount should be considered in designing price schedule. It is shown that if the supplier's quantity pricing schedule is based on his/her profit function, each buyer's surplus may be maximized. And it is also shown that when the supplier's main benefit comes from the reduced number of setups, the incremental discount schedule satisfies the requirement. Formulas to determine values of parameters of the incremental discount schedule are provided.

In [3] we showed that a polynomial over a Noetherian ring is divisible by some other polynomial by looking at the matrix formed by the coefficients of the polynomials which we called the resultant matrix. In this paper, we consider the polynomials with coefficients in a field and divisibility of a polynomial by a polynomial with a certain degree is equivalent to the existence of common solution to a system of Diophantine equations. As an application we construct a family of irreducible quartics over $\mathbb{Q}$ which are not of Eisenstein type.

A new type of LCD has been developed using recently developed phase separated composite film method with a single glass substrate. The resultant structures are made of adjacent parallel layers of liquid crystal and polymer. The LC layer is confined between the solidified polymer layer and glass substrate. The electra-optical properties of the display have been investigated. This technique has the potential to realize a lightweight display for hand-held portable electronic products.

Limit cycle analysis of attitude control system using gas jet thrusters is performed. Schmitt-Trigger and PD control laws are applied and solenoid valve time delay is considered. Phase plane method is used for calculation of characteristics of limit cycle. Important characteristics of resultant limit cycle such as frequency, amplitude, maximum rate, and duty ratio could be expressed analytically by proposed method.

The paper outlines farming systems, including organic, in the UK, and provides a context for the use of biological nitrogen (N) from legumes, especially clovers, and manure in organic grassland systems. As N is dynamic within organic ruminant/grassland systems its pathway is described, including its loss and resultant environmental impact. Improvements in the predictability of response to biological N, its role in reducing the carbon footprint of ruminant products and potential to improve its efficiency are discussed.
