한국에서 농산물중 농약잔류 허용기준의 설정절차 (Procedures in Establishing Residue Limits of Pesticides on Food Crops in Korea)

  • Korean practices in tolerance setting of pesticide residues on food crops were compiled with an effort to harmonize with international standards. Based on scientific data including historical background, limit setting protocols, adoption of ADI values, food factors, nation's body weights, and regulatory margins which are required for the setting of maximum residue limits, necessary measures to be taken by Korean regulatory authorities were proposed.

  • This study was undertaken to find out necessary measures to improve the tolerance setting system of pesticide residues on food crops in Korea which is scientifically reasonable and harmonizable with international standards. Information on tolerance setting systems of pesticide residues by Codex Alimentarius Commission, Joint FAO/WHO Meeting of Experts on Pesticide Residues, USA, EU, Japan and Taiwan was collected and analyzed. On the basis of information in the above countries, necessary actions to be taken by the Korean regulatory authorities were recommended with respect to priority setting, maximum residue limits (MRLs) setting based on field residue data, group MRLs, minor crop problems, quantitation limit and dietary intake assessment.

케일 중 살충제 Chromafenozide와 Pyridalyl의 잔류 특성 (The Residual Characteristic of Chromafenozide and Pyridalyl in Kale)

  • BACKGROUND: It is a very important task to block distribution of the agricultural products contaminated with pesticides in advance to protect consumers from residual pesticides among the agricultural products. Therefore, this study was performed to determine residual characteristics of pesticides in time-dependent manner and present scientific evidences for pre-harvest residue limit (PHRL) setting. METHODS AND RESULTS: The tested pesticides, chromafenozide and pyridalyl were sprayed onto the kale twice (seven day intervals) and then the plant samples were collected at 0 (after 3 hours), 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 days after the last spraying. Residual concentration of chromafenozide in kale decreased with 74.9% (of decreased fraction, field 1) and 85.3% (field 2) and pyridalyl decreased with 81.2% (field 1) and 85.8% (field 2), calculated by comparisons of the concentrations at 0 day and 10 days. Also biological half-lives of chromafenozide in kale were 5.6 day (field 1) and 3.4 day (field 2), and those of pyridalyl were 4.3 day (field 1) and 3.5 day (field 2). CONCLUSION(S): If the residues of chromafenozide and pyridalyl in kale from 10 days before harvest are less than 37.6 mg/kg and 58.9 mg/kg, respectively, it is expected that safe kale below MRL can be supplied on the pre-harvest day.

한국형 총식이섭취조사(Total Diet Study, TDS) 모델 확립을 위한 농약섭취수준에 대한 접근 (Establishment of the Korean total diet study (TDS) model in consideration to pesticide intake)

  • 본 연구에서는 분석대상 농약의 선정, 분석대상 식품의 선정, 분석대상 식품의 수집, 추출방법의 최적화를 통해 잔류농약 섭취 수준 평가를 위한 한국형 총식이섭취조사(Total Diet Study, TDS) 모델을 확립하였다. 또한 총식이섭취조사 모델 확립을 위해 필요한 각각의 항목에, 기준을 설정하여 확립된 모델에 의한 잔류농약 수준을 모니터링 하였다. 모니터링은 1단계에서는 총 102종의 대표식품, 2단계에서는 총 70종의 대표식품, 3단계에서는 12종의 대표식단과 109종의 대표식품을 대상으로 98종 농약에 대해 $GC-{\mu}ECD$, GC-MSD, 그리고 LC-MS/MS를 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 검출된 농약들은 모두 잔류허용기준(Maximum Residue Limit, MRL) 이하의 잔류량을 보였으나 검출된 잔류농약이 해당 작물에 대해 잔류허용기준이 설정되어 있지 않은 경우도 있었다. 한국형 총식이섭취조사 모델을 확립함은 소비자들에게 안전한 먹거리 제공, 농산물의 안전성 확보 및 농산물 생산자들의 농약 사용에 대한 지속적인 정보 제공의 역할을 할 수 있는 자료를 제공하게 될 것이다.

Headspace Analysis for Residual Hexane in Vegetable Oil

  • To enforce the maximum residue limit for residual hexane (0.005 g/kg) in commercially available Korean vegetable oil, convenient and accurate quantification methods were investigated. Using dual surrogate standards, pentane and heptane were dissolved in ethanol, and then added to hexane-tree sunflower oil for setting up the calibration curve. Gas Chromatograph-Flame Ionization Detector with a porous layer open tubular column, indicated good chromatographic separation of hexane from other inhibiting matrix components. The lowest calibration level was $0.5\;{\mu}g/g$, not exceeding a relative standard deviation of 10% (RSD%), and 1.0\;{\mu}g/g$ not exceeding a deviation of 22% RSD% using heptane as an internal standard for the Static headspace analysis by using a headspace auto-sampler and manual injection, respectively. The residual hexane was detected in nine of the samples among 87 vegetable oil samples purchased on the local market.

건조농산물의 잔류농약 안전성 조사 (A Safety Survey on Pesticide Residues in Dried Agricultural Products)

  • 본 연구에서는 건조농산물의 잔류농약 안전성 조사를 위해 경기도에서 유통되는 건조농산물 110건을 수거하여 다종농약다성분 분석법으로 잔류농약 263종을 검사하였다. 조사 결과 총 10건의 시료에서 10종의 잔류농약이 검출되었으며, 건피마자에서 chlorpyrifos, 건취나물에서 chlorpyrifos, hexaconazole, pyridalyl, 무시래기에서 diniconazole, isoprothiolane, lufenuron, 건곤드레에서 hexaconazole, 건고춧 잎에서 bifenthrin, chlorothalonil, boscalid, pyraclostrobin이 각각 검출되었다. 검출률은 9.1%였으며, 이 중 건피마자 1건에서 chlorpyrifos가 잔류허용기준을 초과하였고 부적합률은 0.9%로 나타났다. 유효성 검증 실험 결과 검출한계(LOD)는 0.002~0.027 mg/kg, 정량한계(LOQ)는 0.006~0.083 mg/kg으로 나타났으며, 결정계수($R^2$)는 0.9964~1.0000으로 나타났다. 회수율은 전반적으로 74.8~118.9%로 나타났다. 2019년부터 PLS가 시행됨에 따라 농산물에 대한 안전성 관리가 강화되었지만 건조농산물의 경우 잔류허용기준이 미비하기 때문에 본 연구는 향후 기준 설정을 위한 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다.
