The purpose of this study was to compare the health services information need between urban area and rural area in Sooncheon City. For accomplishing this purpose, we selected 1,060 adults randomly, 744 urban residents and 314 rural residents were surveyed from 1st, December to 31st, December in 1999. Compared the difference between two areas by cross tabulation, and chi-square test were used. The results of this study are as follows: 1. There were statistically difference in sociodemographic characteristics between urban residents and rural residents, such as age, education, job, income, and insurance payment(p<0.001). 2. According to the health utilization behavior, types of health facility, satisfaction of medical cost, and satisfaction of medical results were statistically different between the two areas(p<0.001). Also utilization of the health service center, and accessibility were statistically different between urban and rural areas(p<0.001). 3. Experiencing the health service information, type of health service information, methods of information, effectiveness, and satisfaction were statistically different between the two areas(p<0.001). 4. And experience of using computer, and internet and preference of method of health service information were statistically different between urban and rural areas. Therefore, the construction of health information system should be carefully reviewed by community health service centers and they should consider the different residents information needs, and accessibility and convenience of community residents.
This research was conducted to propose the basic direction of a smart city plan for the satisfaction of residents of Gangwon-do. Initially, the awareness of smart cities among the residents of Gangwon-do was as follows: The response "I have no idea" was 21.7% higher and "I do not know the details, but have heard of it" was 15.1% lower than the awareness among residents across the nation. Based on these results, it was confirmed that awareness was very low despite the government's smartification reinforcement policy. In addition, the residents of Gangwon-do expected that their time would be saved and their living convenience would increase but were worried that their privacy would be invaded and that the conflict between generations would intensify. Thus, it is necessary to develop a plan to enhance the awareness of smart cities, as well as a plan to enhance digital awareness. Second, based on the importance of and satisfaction with the urban problem response system examined among the residents of Gangwon-do, it seems necessary to prioritize improvements in public space control and administrative problem responses involving deteriorated parks/plazas, pedestrian environment, and administrative processing inefficiency and fairness. Additionally, the first prioritization priority of the residents of Gangwon-do was "health/welfare/medical service" (27.7%); the second and third highest priorities were "transportation service" (26.3%) and "environmental service" (19.0%), respectively. In particular, as "transportation service" was highly preferred in the Chuncheon and Wonju regions and "health/welfare/medical service" was highly preferred in the Gangneung, Sokcho, and other southern regions, it was confirmed that the level of urbanization is deeply associated with smart services.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate changes in public health-related perceptions of residents of Gangwon province after the outbreak of Coronavirus disease-19(COVID-19) of the public. Methods: We performed paired T-test analysis to measure the change in public health-related perceptions before and after COVID-19. We also utilized generalized estimating equations to identify demographic factors correlated with public health-related perceptions. Results: The public perceived public health as 'All citizens can use medical care and protect/promote health.' The concept was the most popular, from 94.3% in 2019 to 95.5% in 2020. In addition, after COVID-19, residents of Gangwon province's satisfaction with medical services increased, but the overall level was not high. Among the eight essential healthcare needs after COVID-19, cardiovascular disease and injury services have emerged as preferred services. However, by sociodemographic factors, distinctive responses were detected. Conclusions: Through COVID-19, Gangwon residents' awareness of the public's health rights has increased. Those living in vulnerable areas or with unmet medical care, supported strengthening public health care. In addition, although medical satisfaction has increased, it is not satisfied, so listening to the voices of the population group with low satisfaction is essential. Lastly, since the necessity of essential health care may change due to specific events, the local government needs to plan health projects reflecting the needs of residents. Therefore, when designing the public health care strategy in Gangwon province, the local government should consider not only political factors but also environmental factors, demographic and conceptual factors.
Housing Adjustment is a set of creative human activities that take place to meet various housing needs. Thus far, numerous studies have given attention to speculate a typology of those activities on an empirical base. Overall, though, little is known about its theoretical underpinning, due to the independent nature of each individual study in interpreting differences in conclusions. This study examines and compares results from two previous studies on housing adjustment. Previous research on housing adjustment suggests that, other than household and housing characteristics, housing satisfaction as an intervening variable is deeply associated with the choice of housing adjustment involved in mobility, home improvement, or cognitive adaptation. The two studies used similar theoretical schemes, asked similar questions, yet one sample consisted of Korean American residents and the other sample was poor housing residents in Korea. This study shows that differences in sample characteristics lead to a strong discrepancy in interpreting Speare's (1974) satisfaction theory of housing adjustment. For Korean Americans, housing satisfaction turned out to be a good predictor of housing adjustment preference, while it is not the case for poor housing residents in Korea. This implies that findings of any Single study can not be generalized directly to the population as a whole. Thus, continued effort should be made to compare specific findings from various research studies, seeking explanations for differences in conclusions. Theory can be legitimately built and strengthened in this integrated manner.
The interest and participation of the rural experience is increasing as an alternative for the problems such as the decrease of the agricultural income facing the agriculture and the rural area, the decrease of the population, and the regional stagnation. The rural experience has recently been transformed into a software dimension such as programs and participation activities in the past. In addition, public awareness also positively evaluates agriculture and rural communities as the basis for supporting society and recognition of multiple functions. Furthermore, the intention of the citizen to the earnest village is increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of rural experience and customer satisfaction of urban residents on the recognition of return to farm and rural areas. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the characteristics of rural experience had a positive effect on the farming villages by the program, the experience field and the host, and the customer satisfaction had a positive effect on the farming villages. Therefore, it is considered that a systematic approach to the rural experience is needed in the future because the experience of the rural people in the city has a positive effect on the earliest villages.
This study classified and analyzed characteristics of residents in public rental housing based on data from the 2018 Housing Survey. First, in order to classify the type of public rental housing resident, the criteria were derived through factor analysis based on the satisfaction evaluation index. Next, based on the factor value, the group was classified by type through cluster analysis, and the satisfaction, characteristics of residential households, and characteristics of rental housing types were analyzed for each cluster. As a result of factor analysis, evaluation of housing facilities, accessibility, and residential comfort was selected as the cluster classification criteria, and a total of four clusters were derived through cluster analysis. As a result of analyzing the characteristics of each cluster, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in the level of residential satisfaction, characteristics of residents, and detailed types of rental housing. The results of this analysis are expected to be used to improve existing public rental housing or develop new types of rental housing to match the characteristics of residential housing for public rental housing. In addition, in the type integration of rental housing currently being promoted, it is necessary to develop a method of providing differentiated services in consideration of the characteristics of tenants as well as the integration of physical housing types.
The purpose of this study was to define the residents' current uses and satisfaction of a home automation system. The data were collected from 85 residents living in a selected intelligent apartment, from whom 72 were used for the final analysis. The results were as follows: 1) The educational background was the most significant variable affecting differences among the groups in terms of use of the home automation system. 2) Even though the over 50 years age group showed a tendency toward lower technology acceptance, their utilization rates of the home automation system were higher than those of the under 40 years age group. 3) The respondents with dual income showed higher rates of utilization of the home automation system than the single income group. 4) In spite of positive satisfaction level for the home automation system, many improvements were still requested.
This study analyses the relationships between the residents'personality and the residential types, and between the sense of crowding and the residential types. For this purpose, this study surveys two hundred ninety three residents in their thirties and forties, residing in Seoul. We find that there are differences in the personality traits and also differences in the sense of crowding according to residential types such as high-rise/low-rise apartments, high-class private residence, multi-family houses. And these differences are due to the differences of inner and outer residential environment satisfaction. The lower a resident's inner environment satisfaction is, the higher is his/her sense of crowding. And low environment satisfaction and high sense of crowding appears to account for one's depression and anxiety. Conversely, the higher environment satisfaction is and the lower the sense of crowding is, the higher is his/her responsibility. Finally, this study tries to examine how each personality trait changes according to the habitancy duration. We find that residents having a 3-5 year habitancy record are more anxious and depressed than those who have been living more than 7 years in the same residence.

The purpose of this study is to assess the residential satisfaction of no-charge welfare facility for the elderly, and to examine the effect of the integration with pay-training institute on residential satisfaction. The data were collected from staffs and fifty one residents of welfare facility by interview and questionnaire. The statistical analysis was conducted to identify the residential satisfaction. A half of the elderly were aged over seventy five years old, eighty four percents of them were female, and seventy seven percents of them were non-educated. Forty two percents of the elderly considered themselves to be unhealthy, but the ADL data reveals that they are relatively healthy. The most of residents are highly satisfied with whole welfare facility. But, the level of satisfaction on the bathroom, the storing space, the cooking table and the benches were relatively low. These dissatisfactions can be solved by the expanding of the storing space, setting up of a common washing room and electric cooking stove, and the increasing of the number of benches. Also, it was recommended for the elderly to set up the Ondol-style rest room with the western style rest room. The level of satisfaction on the attached training institute with no-charge welfare facility for the elderly were high. This has positive effect on residential satisfaction of the elderly. Therefore, the community integrated welfare facility can be the alternative plan for the enhancement of residential satisfaction and quality of elderly life.

Customer satisfaction factors of internet shopping malls have meaningful effect to customer repurchase intention. Measurements developed 4~5 items to each factor and questionnaires were made. The survey was conducted on 1,000 Chinese people. Out of 292 surveys, 9 were excluded which responded nothing or were unfilled. Finally 283 surveys were used in empirical analysis with SPSS 22.0 statistical program. Hypotheses were verified by structural equation modeling. Results - The following conclusions are shown in the empirical study. First, the service and promotion factors of internet shopping mall have effects on customer satisfaction. Second, customer (Chinese people who live in Korea) satisfaction have effects on repurchase intention. Third, the products value and price level of internet shopping mall have strong effects on repurchasing intention. Conclusions - There are suggestions that Chinese customers satisfied with Korean internet shopping malls might increase their royalty to the shopping malls as possibility of repurchase arises. This study has differentiating points with preceding researches that subjected residents in Korea. But there are limitations that this study also used purchasing factors used in preceding studies. Also this study has limitations, such as generalization in global market circumstances because this study subjected only Chinese people and not global customers. Therefore, further study executed complementary with those limitations would be an interesting study.
