Purpose: This study was intended to integrate the evidence of home care service intervention for mothers and children in vulnerable groups through an integrative literature review. Methods: We searched the MEDLINE (PubMED), EMBASE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, CINAHL, DBpia databases. The quality of the articles was assessed by one doctoral researcher and verified by one professor of community health nursing who had participated in the systematic review of literature. A framework was developed to identify the intervention patterns in the selected papers and categorize various elements. The extracted intervention elements were grouped into potential themes, which were verified by assessors on whether they clearly reflected the interventions in the papers. Results: Among 878 searched papers, we selected 16 papers after excluding literature that does not satisfy the selection criteria and quality evaluation. The intervention elements of 16 selected papers were categorized into six themes. The extracted intervention elements were divided into the themes of Patient-specific/Situation-specific care planning and intervention, Emphasis on self care competency, Intense home visit by developmental milestone, Reinforcing and modeling mother-child attachment, Communication and interaction across the intervention, Linkage with community resource and multidisciplinary approach. Conclusion: As a result of the analysis of proper interventions of home care services for mothers and children in vulnerable groups, it was found that it is necessary to consider indispensable intervention elements that can standardize the quality of home care services, and conduct studies on developing intervention programs based on the elements.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends about the child care center accreditation system in Korea which has been practiced relatively recently. To solve the research problems, 68 pieces of master's theses, doctoral dissertations, and journal articles were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows: First, since 2005 when the research about the child care center accreditation system was first applied, the number of research has increased dramatically over the year 2006 and 2007. Also, majority of the research was done mostly in the region of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do compared to other regions. Second, the child care center accreditation system administration was the most frequently researched topic, followed by the evaluation on the child care center accreditation system, and the general understanding and recognition of the child care center accreditation system. Third, quantitative method was used most frequently to research the child care center accreditation system, and literature review and qualitative method were used relatively less. Most of the research subjects were the child care center directors and teachers. The sample size of the research was relatively big, and most of the survey were either made by the researcher or were modified and adjusted from the previously used survey questions according to the present research. Most of the data analysis of quantitative study were done with descriptive statistics, and with t-test, chi-square, and ANOVA and there was only one done with correlation analysis.
Recently, the demand for industrial and residential lands are being increased with economic growth, however, it is difficult to acquire the land for development with good ground condition. For efficient and balanced development of land, new development projects are being carried out not only the areas with inland but those with the soft ground as well. As soft grounds have complex engineering properties and high variations such as ground settlement especially when their strength is low and depth is deep, it needs to accurately analyze the engineering properties of soft grounds and find general measurement for stabilization and economic design and management. Prefabricated vertical drain technology is widely used to accelerate the consolidation of soft clay deposits and dredged soil under the preloading and various types of vertical drain are being used with the discharge capacity. Under field conditions, the discharge capacity is changed with various reason, such as soil condition, confinement pressure, long-term clogging and folding of vertical drains, and so on. Therefore, many researcher and engineer recommend the use of required discharge capacity. In this paper, the experimental study were carried out for two different types of vertical drains by utilizing the large-scale model tests and waste lime.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the predictive validity of the Fall Assessment Scale-Korean version (FAS-K) and to find the most appropriate cutoff score to screen high-risk fall groups in adult patients in general hospitals in Korea. Methods: We performed a prospective evaluation study in medical and surgical ward patients at two major general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected from Nov. 1, 2018 to Feb. 28, 2019, nurses performed 651 observation series. The researcher measured the fall risk assessment score by applying FAS-K, MFS (Morse Fall Scale), and JHFRAT (Johns Hopkins Hospital Fall Risk Assessment tool) to the patients twice a week between 10 am and 12 noon. Data were analyzed using Pearson's corelation coefficients, and the sensitivity, specificity, predictive value, and the area under the curve (AUC) of the three tools. Results: The FAS-K was positively correlated with the MFS (r=.70, p<.001) and the JHFRAT (r=.82, p<.001). According to the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve analysis of the FAS-K, sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative prediction values were 85.3%, 49.4%, 8.5%, and 98.4%, respectively, when the FAS-K score was 4. Therefore, the cut-off score of the FAS-K to identify groups with high fall risk was 4. Conclusion: The FAS-K is a valid tool for measuring fall risk in adult inpatients. In addition, the FAS-K score, 4, can be used to identify high-risk fall groups and know specific points in time to provide active interventions to prevent falls.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the nutrition education on preschool children's nutrition knowledge and behaviors. The study subjects were preschool children attending J kindergarten located in Wonju. Each of the control group and the education group consisted of 49 children and the education group was exposed to nutrition education while the control group did not. The nutrition education intervention lasted 9 weeks weekly basis. The t-test for the homogeneity of each group showed no meaningful difference at the beginning point of nutrition education. After nutrition education a test of nutrition knowledge using picture-questionnaire was carried out by the researcher for the subjects of education group and control group and the caretakers of the education group were offered self-administered questionnaire on the changes in children's dietary behaviors. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Nutrition education intervention showed a meaningful difference in children's understanding nutrition; the kinds and function of food, the relationship between food and body, the function of nutrients and enhanced their idea on hygiene compared to the control group (p < p.005). 2. However, nutrition education intervention made no statistically meaningful difference in children's dietary behaviors such as having breakfast, keeping balanced diet, washing hands before meals, saying "thanks" before and after meals, cleaning the table after meals, brushing teeth after meals and so on. Therefore, we found that it is hard to expect children to correct their dietary behaviors in such a short period of 9 weeks and nutrition education for preschool children should be offered to caretakers at the same time.
The purposes of this study were to develop an effective teaching material for slow learners in mathematics and to investigate its effect. To achieve the first goal, several pre-used teaching material and the 7th national curriculum for elementary school mathematics were analyzed to set up a framework fur developing new teaching material. Using these developed framework and curriculum data, 370 units of lesson were developed from the 3rd grade to the 6th grade. To investigate the effect of the material, 3 slow learners (2 from the 5th and 1 from the 6th grade) were selected through diagnostic tests. Then supplementary lessons were administered after school to relieve their disability accordingly for seven months. During the lessons(lasted about 40 minutes), teacher observed the subjects in detail and .judged the teaming sequence and the learning pace. Through this observation and the test administered after the treatment, several conclusions were drawn as follow: First, the supplementary lessons using the developed teaching material helped slow learners understand mathematics and solve problems. Especially, the test scores gained on formative evaluation became higher. This might be caused by the material that enabled to relieve the disablement and the teaching method that aimed to give a meaningful mathematical experience. Second, the supplementary lessons affected positively to the affective domain of the slow learners. They convinced themselves to their mathematical ability and became active in their mathematics class. This was observed by researcher and the class teacher in their lessons. Positive attitude toward mathematics and their ability is quite important for mathematics learning especially fur slow learners in mathematics.
The influence of metal artifact in CT image depends on the type of metal materialsm, the reconstruction algorithm, and scan parameters. The presence of metal artifacts was quantitatively evaluated by applying the standard and MAR algorithms through the phantom study. In the change of tube voltage applied the standard algorithm, metal artifact decreased to 44.9% for 80 vs 120 kVp, 24% for 100 vs 120 kVp, while the image taken at 140 kVp increased the artifact by 19% compared to 120 kVp. When the tube current was increased from 100 to 300 mA, there was no significant difference in the CT value and noise. Black band and white strike artifacts occurred up to 65.9% in the adjacent ROI of the metal driver, whereas titanium screw produced lesser metal artifact than that of the metal driver. The combination of 120kVp or higher tube voltage-standard algorithm was effective in removing black band artifacts as well as white streak by high density materials. However, MAR reconstruction algorithm was useful in improving image quality under the environment of low kVp and high density materials, without increase of radiation exposure.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current state and librarian's perception of information services in order to maximize their expertise and role of each policy field and promote continuous development of information services. The researcher surveyed 22 government-funded research institute librarians on their perception of service planning stage, investigation and provision stage, evaluation stage, system operation, required capacities for librarians, role expansion and change, and job difficulties. The questionnaire was consisted of 7 domains, 12 items, and 61 questions, and in-depth interviews were conducted for qualitative analysis. The findings of the study discovered newly required tasks in libraries such as introducing research information management tools, operating an advisory committee, and conducting publications-related tasks. Suggestions were made to encourage standardized manuals for modules based on job tasks, Continuing education to expand the role of subject librarians, and utilization of social media in information services.
Universities that hold engineering education accreditation emphasize the importance of design education. In particular, comprehensive design courses in the engineering field are designed to produce the result reflecting the functional and limiting factors of the design. Systematic design education is also important, but the application of multidisciplinary convergence education is very high in view of the comprehensive design curriculum as a creative education program. This study describes a case study of convergence of curriculum and engineering and design, focusing on the 2019 comprehensive engineering design subject of the researcher. For the collaboration between engineering and design, the process of developing students' ideas and applying them to actual results was presented as the procedures of planning and theme selection, content design, software design, presentation and evaluation. As a result, it is meaningful that the method of convergence between engineering and design was presented without focusing only on technology in the comprehensive design subject of engineering by applying a design that considers the user in producing the work.

Recently, mobile devices were increased and there was a sharp rise in demand. To exploit the location information of each device, many researcher was studying locating systems. The favorite locating or positioning systems were a GPS using satellites and a RTLS using wireless communication between devices. If some obstacle existed nearby the target device, The system have difference of performance. The obstacles near targets were caused signal disconnection and reflection because of NLOS condition. As the result, the NLOS condition degrade the locating performance. In this paper, we propose a locating system which is cooperated two systems using information reliability estimates from LOS/NLOS condition. We developed proposed system. In addition, we performed fields test and simulation tests at various environment for performance evaluation. As the result, the test showed 97% success rate to estimate NLOS condition. Furthermore, the simulation result of our locating system was increased to 89% compared with a single system.
