한국의 가치문화 교육을 위한 광고 자료 선정 (The Study of Selecting Advertisement Materials for Korean Value System Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare educational contents and criteria for selecting advertisement materials by exploring the necessity of value system education in Korean culture education. Furthermore, the study aims to suggest advertisements that contain meaningful materials through the criteria among the public and commercial advertisements as of 2017. Advertisements have advantages in three aspects as they focus on current culture, cultural implications and the ease of teaching and learning. These advantages indicate the usefulness of advertisements in value education. Also, the research of Hofstede (2010), Kang (2007), and Kim et al. (2011) provide discussion regarding educational contents. Subsequently, the criteria for selecting advertisements are further developed as the main purpose of this study. The criterion are to consider the objectives of culture education, to take into account the learning situation, to find relevance between the contents of the advertisement and the contents for the value system education, and consider expressive methods of advertisements and extensibility to the activities. Next, advertisements were selected for core educational items and the list of 22 is presented according to the value system, educational contents and the criterion of the advertisements discussed in the above.

  • The object of the present paper is to obtain a more general condition for univalence of analytic functions in the open unit disk U. The significant relationships and relevance with other results are also given. A number of known univalent conditions would follow upon specializing the parameters involved in our main results.

제7차 과학과 교육과정 지구과학 내용의 적정성 분석 및 평가 (Analysis and Evaluation of the Earth Science Content Relevance in the 7th National Science Curriculum)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제7차 교육과정 지구과학 내용의 적정성을 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교육과정 분석(우리나라, 미국 캘리포리아주, 영국, 일본), 우리나라와 일본 교과서의 지구과학 내용 분석과 초 중등학생, 교사, 교수, 교과서 저자에 대한 광범위한 설문조사를 실시하였다 제7차 교육과정의 지구과학 내용은 과학과 4개 영역의 균등 분배, 단원의 세분화로 인한 내용구성과 연계성 부족, 그리고 나선형 교육과정의 과도한 적용, 지나친 탐구활동 중심의 교과서 내용구성으로 인한 학습량 증가와 체계적 개념 지도의 어려움 등으로 인해 적정하게 구성되어 있지 않다고 평가할 수 있다. 이를 해결하고 지구과학 영역 내용 적정성을 확보하기 위한 방안으로는 첫째, 내용 구성 및 연계 측면에서 볼 때, 각 학년에서 다루게 되는 내용을 과학 4개 영역으로 균등하게 분배하지 말고, 단원의 크기를 다양화해야 한다. 둘째, 학습량 측면에서는 나선형 교육과정의 구성 방식을 탈피하여 학년 수준에 맞는 내용은 해당 학년에서 종료되도록 하여 학년간에 중복이 되지 않도록 해야 하고, 필수 탐구활동의 수를 줄이고 질을 높여야 한다. 셋째, 내용의 수준과 흥미 측면에서, 학생들의 지구과학에 대한 흥미를 제고할 수 있도록 자연재해, 안전, 우주 관련 분야, 자원 등을 강조해야 한다. 아울러 교육 내용 적정성의 평가 준거 중의 하나가 실현 가능성임을 고려할 때, 교육과정이 추구하는 목표가 학교 현장에서 실현될 수 있도록 주변 여건에 대한 지원이 선행되어야 할 것이다.

외부 동료평가를 적용한 신재생에너지 보급사업의 성과분석 연구 (Peer Review of Renewable Energy Dissemination Program)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the renewable energy dissemination programs in Korea, using peer-review. Especially, we used the peer review method which was suggested to evaluate the renewable energy program in U.S. by EERE, DOE. Before we implemented the peer review, we modified this method suitable for evaluating the renewable energy dissemination programs in Korea by getting advice from expertise in renewable energy policy. From this procedure, we have verified six evaluation criteria as Quality, Productivity, Accomplishments, Relevance and Management. We interviewed renewable energy policy expertise and corporation to evaluate the programs against these criteria. The result shows that overall programs were performed more than average. In addition, both the policy expertise and corporation perceived that "oan Guarantee Program" and "ompulsory Installation of Renewable Energy Facility in Public building" fulfilled its role to a great extent. However, the respondents pointed out that all of the programs need to be improved on its management.

  • This study presents the development of predictive models for uplift capacity of suction caisson in clay using an artificial intelligence technique, extreme learning machine (ELM). Other artificial intelligence models like artificial neural network (ANN), support vector machine (SVM), relevance vector machine (RVM) models are also developed to compare the ELM model with above models and available numerical models in terms of different statistical criteria. A ranking system is presented to evaluate present models in identifying the 'best' model. Sensitivity analyses are made to identify important inputs contributing to the developed models.

부합성 분석을 이용한 정보화지원사업 성과평가지표의 합리적 도출 방안 (A Rational Development Way of Performance Evaluation Measures for the Informatization Program by means of the Coincidence Analysis)

  • The measurement of informatization program effectiveness continues to be a central concern of both academics and practitioners. However, most studies of it have been inclined too heavily toward testing validity and reliability of evaluation measure to strengthen the theoretical rigor. Drawbacks of this approach have been pointed out as being unsuitable for evaluating the effectiveness of informatization program due to lack of practical relevance. The paper comprises four sections to solve the problem. 1) Through literature review of theoretical conceptual models in IS effectiveness and the domestic and foreign cases on informatization program, we establish the evaluation framework which consists of evaluation phases, 6 evaluation areas, and 22 evaluation items, and developed evaluation measures of each items. 2) Different researchers have addressed different aspects of attribute of measure. With comparing them to each other, 3 mutually exclusive criteria on coincidence analysis(usability of measurement. reliability of measurement. and validity of content) are identified. 3) Data are gathered from respondents in informatizaiton program-related organizations such as policy agency, management agency, support agency, and recipient agency. 4) The degree of coincidence of each evaluation measure are analyzed by course of an coincidence analysis procedure, which includes the reliability test, arithmetical test, and criteria validity test. The academic implication of this study is that researchers can gain an insight into the coincidence analysis to approach the problem of deciding on an indicator of performance for informatization program. There is also practical implication for applying the potential means of improving the practical relevance of conducting evaluating the informatization program.

멀티미디어 정보요구와 검색행태에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Investigation on Multimedia Information Needs and Searching Behavior among College Students)

  • 일상생활에서 멀티미디어 검색은 중요한 검색활동이며, 멀티미디어 정보요구와 검색행태는 그 특성상 텍스트 기반의 정보요구와 검색행태와는 달리 고유한 특성을 지닌다. 본 연구는 서울시내 남녀 대학생 20명의 멀티미디어 정보요구와 검색행태에 관하여 탐색적 고찰을 제시하였다. 대학생의 멀티미디어 정보요구와 이에 따른 검색과정이 녹화 및 녹취되었으며, 사후심층면담도 함께 이루어졌다. 이러한 데이터의 분석결과는 멀티미디어 검색원, 정보요구, 적합성 판단 근거, 검색저해요인으로 구분하여 제시되었다. 검색원의 특징으로는 국내포털사이트와 구글이 주로 사용되었으나, 이미지, 오디오, 비디오의 개별 멀티미디어의 특성을 반영한 검색원이 규명되었다. 멀티미디어 정보요구는 특정한 정보요구가 보편적인 정보요구에 비해 많이 추구되었으나 개별 멀티미디어의 특성에 따라 보편적 정보요구의 비중은 다르게 나타났다. 멀티미디어 적합성 판단 기준과 검색저해요인은 개별 멀티미디어에 따라 상당히 다양하게 발견되었다. 이러한 결과는 기존의 통합적 멀티미디어의 검색 환경에서 개별 멀티미디어 정보요구와 특성이 반영된 검색환경 구현이 필요하다는 것을 보여준다.

DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR SUBURBAN STATION REHABILITATION

  • Every public agency governing infrastructure has to plan effectively for rehabilitation of existing facilities within the constraints of the capital program. Numerous technical, social, political, financial, and management constraints govern the decision to rehabilitate a facility. However, without a systematic procedure for selecting facilities for rehabilitation, within the prevailing constraints, it is possible that the funds available for rehabilitation might be suboptimized. Therefore, a decision support system that assists the user in selecting facilities for rehabilitation while considering the technical, social, financial, and political and management constraints will be useful in the decision-making process. This paper compares the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the Swing Weight method used to prioritize functional criteria for suburban station rehabilitation. This paper also contains a brief discussion about the relevance of the Multi Attribute utility theory in developing a decision model for the problem at hand. The results of this paper provides the user with a decision support system that would prioritize the stations in order of their weights obtained by a systematic evaluation of various criteria and sub-criteria involved in the decision making process

Relevance of emergency level assessment by the Korean Triage and Acuity Scale for adult patients in a local emergency medical center

  • Objective: The Korean Triage and Acuity Scale (KTAS), which was implemented in 2016, needs to be assessed for its validity and reliability. Here we evaluate the relevance of emergency level assessment by analyzing the validity of KTAS as a Korean standardized triage system. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the medical records of adults who presented to a local emergency room (ER) during an 18-month period. We compared medical resources used, life-saving interventions performed, length of stay (LOS) in ER, admission rate, and mortality at each KTAS level. Results: Among a total of 40,339 patients, most patients were at KTAS 4 (n=19,532, 48.4%) and the longest median LOS in ER was 450 minutes at KTAS 2. As the KTAS level increased, the percentage of medical resources used and lifesaving interventions performed increased significantly. The odds of total admission and intensive care unit admission were significantly higher at KTAS 1 through 4 compared to those at KTAS 5. The odds related to admission and mortality were also significantly higher at KTAS 3 than at KTAS 4. Conclusion: We concluded that the KTAS, as a Korean standardized triage system of emergency level assessment, is relevant. Further, KTAS 1-3 and KTAS 4-5 are appropriate criteria to distinguish emergency and non-emergency patients.

혈액학적 인자가 심혈관 질환 위험지수에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Hematological Factors on the Risk Index of Cardiovascular Disease)

  • This study aimed to investigate the relevance of cardiovascular disease risk factors AI and AIP, divided into three groups, among 300 individuals who underwent health checkups at the hospital. Various variables such as Age, Sex, BMI, WC, TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, FBS, HbA1C, SBP, DBP, HR, AI (TC/HDL-C), and AIP (log(TG/HDL-C)) were analyzed using statistical methods including frequency analysis, cross-tabulation, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The cross-analysis based on cardiovascular disease risk criteria revealed that men and individuals in their 50s had higher cardiovascular disease risk based on AI and AIP. Significant differences were observed in TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, SBP, DBP, AI (TC/HDL-C), and AIP (log(TG/HDL-C)) according to AI criteria. For the AIP criteria, TG, TC, HDL-C, FBS, HbA1C, HR, AI (TC/HDL-C), and AIP (log(TG/HDL-C)) were identified as cardiovascular disease risk factors. FBS and HbA1c showed the highest positive correlation In the correlation analysis, followed by TC and LDL-C. The lowest positive correlation was observed between LDL-C and DBP. In terms of negative correlation, HDL-C and AI had the highest negative correlation, while LDL-C and TG showed the lowest negative correlation. Multiple regression analysis indicated that the AI and AIP risk criteria had explanatory powers of 73.6% and 72.5%, respectively. HDL-C had the greatest negative effect on the AI risk criterion, while TG had the most significant influence on the AIP risk criterion. In conclusion, while other serological variables are important, managing HDL-C and TG levels may help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
