  • This paper deals with the middleware development for real time data processing using ubiquitous RFID(Radio Frequency Identification). This middleware system supports the real time data gathering, filtering, and collaborative operations within SCM. We expect to decrease the data processing cost and to upgrade the status of RTE(Real Time Enterprise) and competitive power of company.

  • Real-Time Enterprise concept comes out as an alternative to reduce the increasing uncertainty of the business environment recently. And lots of companies want to get Real-Time concept into their organizations. However, studies on RTE are not sufficient yet, from defining to realizing it. Thus, this study defines RTE activities with the RTE definition of Gartner and derives RTE critical success factors. During this study, system thinking is used to make interactions of RTE variables clear, and causal maps, generated by system thinking, are applied to derive CSF.

  • 금융, 증권, 화재 보험사, 뱅킹시스템 등의 대고객 응대 서비스는 대부분, 인터넷, DM, SMS, IVR, E-Mail, FAX 등을 통해서 서비스하고 있다. 고객은 다양한 접점을 통해 서비스를 제공받을 수 있다. 기업의 입장에서는 호스트 트랜잭션, 혹은 DB 프로세싱에 대하여, 투명성 있게 서비스를 제공해야한다. 본 논문에서는 화재보험, 금융, 증권, 캐피탈, 은행권에서 이용될 수 있는 서버들에 대해 논하고, 고객에게 투명성을 제공하기 위한 서버의 실시간 모니터링 시스템을 제안하고 설계 구현하였다. 제안된 모델은 대고객 응대 시스템에서 효율적으로 이용될 수 있다.

  • This paper deals with developing a remote & real-time Computer-Aided Logistics Support (CALS) Systems through Information Super-Highway. A prototype of CALS is designed and implemented considering the environment of Information Super Highway. The concept of CSCW based virtual enterprise is discussed in con-nection with the four different activities. development of remote & virtual equipment controller remote-monitoring & inspection real time tracking of logistics information and web-based bidding and delivery system. A real implemented system is demonstrated under the Infor-mation Super-Highway with the corresponding software and hardware configuration.

A Systematic Design Automation Method for RDA-based .NET Component with MDA

  • Recent Enterprise System has component driven real-time distributed architecture (RDA) and this kind of architecture should performed with satisfying strict constraints on life cycle of object and response time such as synchronization, transaction and so on. Microsoft's .NET platform supports RDA and is able to implement services including before mentioned time restriction and security service by only specifying attribute code and maximizing advantages of OMG's Model Driven Architecture (MDA). In this study, a method to automatically generate an extended model of essential elements in an enterprise-system-based RDA as well as the platform specific model (PSM) for Microsoft's .NET platform are proposed. To realize these ideas, the functionalities that should be considered in enterprise system development are specified and defined in a meta-model and an extended UML profile. In addition, after defining the UML profile for .NET specification, these are developed and applied as plug-ins of the open source MDA tool, and extended models are automatically generated using this tool. Accordingly, by using the proposed specification technology, the profile and tools can easily and quickly generate a reusable extended model even without detailed coding-level information about the functionalities considered in the .NET platform and RDA.

의료기관 운영 효율성 제고를 위한 실시간 기업(RTE) 사례 연구 - 서울성모병원 핵심 프로세스를 중심으로 - (A Case Study on a Real-Time Enterprise to Improve Operational Efficiency of Medical Institutions - Centering on the Main Process of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital -)

  • This is a case study of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital applying a real-time enterprise (RTE) strategy to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency with the main process of medical institutions. The hospital is applying an RTE strategy to get real-time information on occurrences at each contact point of the main process of the medical institution from reservation to discharge through dashboard and to resolve issues through rapid decision-making. The RTE strategy of the hospital has some summaries: First, the hospital has linked a hospital management strategy to the RTE strategy to build a patient-centered treatment process. Second, the hospital has operated a control tower for change management and implementation monitoring in the process of implementing the RTE strategy. Third, the hospital has built systematic RTE-based environment as an application program in which the nU System is linked to Business Processor Renovation (BPR) promoted from 2006 on. Fourth, the hospital is applying a strategy to improve efficiency in operating the hospital by increasing customer satisfaction, removing inefficiency and variability, and managing medical resources efficiently through the RTE strategy. Fifth, it has established an information-sharing system through authority management for each user in terms of RTE information. Sixth, it has supplemented limitations of short-term information of the RTE strategy by linking the key performance index to the cost information system in order to improve performance of the RTE strategy. Seventh, it has improved customer satisfaction and achieved higher performance in improving operational efficiency, as compared with rival hospitals, through the RTE strategy.

패러다임 전환에 의한 기업 측면의 IoT 경영 프로세스 구축방안 연구 (A Study on the establishment of IoT management process in terms of business according to Paradigm Shift)

  • 본 연구는 최근 가장 큰 이슈로 떠오르는 "사물인터넷(IoT: Internet of Things)"의 개념과 국내 외 IoT 시장에 대한 현황을 고찰하였으며, IoT 시대의 도래로 인해 유발되는 패러다임 전환 발생에 따른 기업측면의 적절한 대응방안에 대한 해결책을 도출하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 티핑포인트(Tipping point)에 있는 IoT 경쟁 시대에 적절하게 대응하기 위한 기업의 경영전략을 '패러다임 전환(paradigm shift)'이라는 시각을 통해 대응 방안을 제시하였다. 특히, 과거의 경영 패러다임과 IoT 시대의 경영 패러다임을 비교 분석하여 i)지식 및 학습 주도 경영, ii)기술 및 혁신 중심 경영, iii)수요 창출 경영, iv)글로벌 협업 경영으로 새롭게 패러다임 전환(Paradigm Shift)이 발생할 것으로 예측 및 제안하였고, 이러한 패러다임의 전환에 대응하기 위한 기업측면의 경영전략 프로세스 모델을 구축하기 위해 Gartner가 제시한 'RTE Cyclone model'을 활용하였다. '실시간 기업(RTE)' 이라는 개념은 급변하는 IoT 시대에 기업측면의 경영 전략 프로세스로 활용가치가 있다고 판단되며, 본 연구에서 적절히 응용하여 'IoT-RTE Cyclone model'을 제안하였다. 특히, 제안한 모델은 기업의 민첩성을 강조하고 IT 및 IoT 기술을 통한 실시간 모니터링, 분석, 실행을 기본으로 하며, 기업의 경영 프로세스 각 부문을 통합시켜 기업의 전반적인 서비스를 지원하기 때문에 빠르게 변화하는 IoT 시대에서 영위하는 기업측면에서의 효과적인 대응전략으로 활용할 수 있다.
