Background: Accurate, rapid, and cost-effective screening tests for hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection may be useful in laboratories that cannot afford automated chemiluminescent immunoassays (CLIAs). We evaluated the diagnostic performance of a novel rapid automated fluorescent lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA). Methods: A fluorescent LFIA using a small bench-top fluorescence reader, Automated Fluorescent Immunoassay System (AFIAS; Boditech Med Inc., Chuncheon, Korea), was developed for qualitative detection of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), antibody to HBsAg (anti-HBs), and antibody to HCV (anti-HCV) within 20 minutes. We compared the diagnostic performance of AFIAS with that of automated CLIAs-Elecsys (Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Penzberg, Germany) and ARCHITECT (Abbott Laboratories, Abbott Park, IL, USA)-using 20 seroconversion panels and 3,500 clinical serum samples. Results: Evaluation with the seroconversion panels demonstrated that AFIAS had adequate sensitivity for HBsAg and anti-HCV detection. From the clinical samples, AFIAS sensitivity and specificity were 99.8% and 99.3% for the HBsAg test, 100.0% and 100.0% for the anti-HBs test, and 98.8% and 99.1% for the anti-HCV test, respectively. Its agreement rates with the Elecsys HBsAg, anti-HBs, and anti-HCV detection assays were 99.4%, 100.0%, and 99.0%, respectively. AFIAS detected all samples with HBsAg genotypes A-F and H and anti-HCV genotypes 1, 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 4, and 6. Cross-reactivity with other infections was not observed. Conclusions: The AFIAS HBsAg, anti-HBs, and anti-HCV tests demonstrated diagnostic performance equivalent to current automated CLIAs. AFIAS could be used for a large-scale HBV or HCV screening in low-resource laboratories or low-to middle-income areas.

This paper aims to point out that the contemporary textbook is a common cognitive construct, and that the realistic drawings in the textbooks have played an important role in shaping the world recognition. The main subjects of this study are the racial-ethnic illustrations of elementary school geography textbooks, published by the Japanese Ministry of Education, the Japanese Government-General of Taiwan and Korea, the educational association of Manchu. By comparing the same factors in various textbooks, it examines how the temporal and spatial recognition of the world is adjusted by visual representation. The main findings of this study are three fold. First, the world was introduced to the extent of the sum that the census and the classifications of racial and ethnic groups were adopted. And the world appeared later in the year supported by the racial and ethnic minorities. Second, the expressive style of racial and ethnic groups changed from an emphasis on a heterogeneous part as an object of scientific observation in the early stage to a later one with a life culture similar to the reader. Third, racial ethnic illustrations have been used differently depending on the publishing region in the Empire, giving readers in different regions with different images of the same category. In many cases, it was possible to know the politics of representation and the use of certain racial ethnic illustrations. The textbooks of the first half of the 20th century gave great recognition to the people who could not meet with the readers by using the illustrations. A child in the mainland is aware of his position in a "viewing position" while viewing various empire people through the textbook. On the other hand, in the textbooks of the colonial children, they stood in the position of 'being seen', and showed a change in internalizing the position of the mainland along with the expansion of the empire.

In this study, we tried to demonstrate the influence of leader's coaching and LMX on the member's innovation vibrator and to provide implications. This study reviewed the reader's coaching, LMX, the theories of the member's innovation behabior, resiliency, and the studies and discussions that have been carried out in the past, and finally produced five hypotheses. To verify this research theory, this study collected data from 320 automotive company researchers using VR interaction technology. The collected data were used for frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation analysis. An Empirical Analysis are confirming a result of this study can be summarized as follows. First, leader's coaching have a positive effect on resilience. Second, is have a positive effect on resilience lmx. Third, the researchers is high resilience innovative behavior to promote positive influence. Fourth, resilience leader's coaching the innovative behavior the impact on. Fifth, are lmx resilience innovative behavior the impact on. Through the conclusion and discussion section, the theoretical practical significance of this study and the limitations of the research and the direction of future research are presented.

Based on the analysis of the NDL authority system, this study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of subject authorities related to Korea in the NDL. The results are as follows. First, NDL subject authorities related to Korea are 3,143 in total including 2,205 headings and 938 subdivisions. Among them, social sciences accounted for more than half with 52.4%, and economics by individual discipline accounted for the most with 552 cases, 17.6%. Second, most of the subject headings of historical events caused by or directly related to Japan are described from the Japanese perspective, and terms familiar to Korea are mainly described in reference, not in heading. Third, subject headings representing Korean characteristics or historical events are considerably lacking or nondescript. Forth, when referring the name of the country, the term 'Joseon (朝鮮)' continues to be used to refer to both South and North Korea; however, it is necessary to subdivide the history after 1948 which includes the era of the 'Republic of Korea' and the 'Democratic People's Republic of Korea'. Using the term Joseon to refer North and South Korea may cause the reader to perceive Korea as persisting in the Joseon Dynasty. Furthermore, while 'Balhae (渤海)' is regarded as Chinese history, it is a part of Korean history and should be added to the Korean historical periods.

In 1999, the French semiotician Jacques Fontanille published his work on discourse semiotics as an attempt to overcome the limitations of structuralism. Discourse semiotics has expanded the realm of semiotics by taking a phenomenological approach that examines the structure of consciousness. Phenomenology pays special attention to the operation of human consciousness, which, instead of staying put, moves from one place to another-unbeknownst to its agent. This paper examines "Bulls" through a phenomenological approach as the short story depicts the stream of consciousness that unfolds within the inner world of Pau, the young male protagonist. The rhetorical approach to literary analysis works at the level of the speech act and directly relates to speech act theory. In rhetorics, figures and tropes are dominated by speech acts. Whereas conventional rhetorical analysis lacks a kinetic perspective as it revolves around flat semantic inspections, the discourse semiotics approach applied in this paper allows for an indepth multidimensional analysis where the analyses of ${\acute{e}}nonc{\acute{e}}$ and ${\acute{e}}nonciation$ complement each other. Presenting a peasant movement to the reader through the eyes of the young male protagonist Pau, "Bulls" is considered a significant literary feat in the history of Korea's New Literature as the work is highly regarded for its impressive depiction of a communal movement. This paper reinterprets and reevaluates the story under a new light, mainly through a rhetorical approach and a phenomenological approach that hinges on discourse semiotics.

Both Plato and More imagined alternative ways of organizing society. What is common to both authors, then, is the fact that they resorted to fiction to discuss other options. They differed, however, in the way they presented that fiction. The concept of utopia is no doubt an attribute of modern thought, and one of its most visible consequences. But one of the main features of utopia as a literary genre is its relationship with reality. Utopists depart from the observation of the society they live in, note down the aspects that need to be changed and imagine a place where those problems have been solved. After the two World Wars, the twentieth century was predominantly characterized by man's disappointment at the perception of his own nature. In this context, utopian ideals seemed absurd and the floor was inevitably left to dystopian discourse. Both The Road by Cormac MacCarthy and The Childhood of Jesus by J. M. Coetzee can be called critical dystopia and critical utopia as they represent the imaginary place and time that author intended a contemporaneous reader to view as better or worse than contemporary society but with difficult problems that the described society may or may not be able to solve. As a changed adventure narrative, they have something in common like open ending, father and son relationship and religious allegory. But the most important thing is that they express the utopian impulse that is still energetic and transforming in the post-modern society.

The purpose of this study was to confirmed anti-inflammatory effect the apple Induced by mutants with ${\gamma}-Ray$ extract. Cell viability was assessed by MTT assay using RAW 264.7 cells. The extracts measured through changes in the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), nitric oxide (NO), inflammatory cytokines, NF-kB, and COX-2 on LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. All test results were analyzed by ELISA reader, Luminex and RT-PCR. In result, the extracts was not toxic below in 25 ug/ml, and extracts was inhibited the productions nitric oxide, ROS, cytokines (IL-1b, IL-6, TNF-a), NF-kB and COX-2 in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. Also, the expression levels were decreased on mRNA of $NF-{\kappa}B$ and COX-2. In other words, Perilla frutescens var. crispa Induced by mutants with ${\gamma}-Ray$ extracts showed significant anti-inflammatory effect. These results may be developed as a raw material for new health food and therapeutics to ease the related to the above mediators.

The purpose of this study is to analysis chromaticity, granulometry, main chemical composition and mineral crystal structure of wall soils excavated from Poongnatoseong Earthen Castle using color reader, XRD, particla size analyzer. The analysed soils of Poongnatoseong Earthen Castle were yellowish brown and isabella. All samples were sands or sands including silty soil(SW~SC) and showed similar granulometry, chemical composition and mineral crystal structure, which were characteristics of construction materials suitable for modern road or airstrip. As resulting in comparison with 4 factors from chromaticity, granulometry, main chemical composition and mineral crystal structure, we decided that the control soils(PNS) near by Poongnatoseong Earthen Castle were not to be used for the castle wall construction We presumed that there was a huge soil distribution area for the wall construction around Poongnatoseong Earthen Castle. For further study, we will make a comparison analysis all kinds of soil characteristics. And then we can understand correctly about wall soils producing area, construction method, repair method and time of Poongnatoseong Earthen Castle.

The purpose of this study was to investigated the biological activities such as cytotoxic, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory using Mentha arvensis L. extracts. Mentha arvensis L. was prepared by extracting with DW and 80% ethanol, after cell viability was assessed by MTT assay using RAW 264.7 cells. Antioxidant activities, and Anti-inflammatory activities measured through changes in the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), nitric oxide (NO), leukotrien B4 (LTB4), and anti- or in-flammatory cytokines($IL-1{\beta}$, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor $(TNF)-{\alpha}$, and IL-10) on LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. All test measured by ELISA reader and Luminex. Mentha arvensis L. was no cytotoxic in water and 80% ethanol extracts, and Concentration of 100 ug/ml of 80% ethanol extract was suppressed the productions of ROS in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. Also, Productions of NO, LTB4, inflammatory or anti-inflammatory cytokines showed efficacy change that dose-independent of all extracts. In other words, Mentha arvensis L. showed significant biological activities showing anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidant. These results may be developed as a raw material for new health food and therapeutics to ease the symptoms mentioned above.

The Beer-Lambert law states that absorbance is proportional to the concentration of a solute in a solution at a given wavelength. This linearity works for an ideal or a 'sufficiently diluted' solution, so this linearity is often used as a criterion for the fidelity of the absorbance value measured. In this study, we used a chlorophyll (Chl) solution, isolated from rice leaves with 80% acetone to test the use of the Chl a/b ratio as an additional criterion for checking the fidelity of measured values using four different absorption spectrophotometers: Cary4E, UV-1650PC, Versamax (a microplate reader), and NanoDrop 1,000(which can handle a $4{\mu}l$ aliquot). We used Chl solutions of varying concentrations from $0.2{\mu}g/ml$ to $200{\mu}g/ml$ to measure absorbance values at 645 nm and 663 nm and checked the linearity first. The results indicated that the range of Chl concentrations that we can rely on based on the linearity was similar to the range in which the calculated Chl concentrations based on the measured absorbance values agreed with the known concentrations. However, some border cases or cases with very low Chl concentrations inside the fidelity range of Chl concentrations did not agree with the criterion that the Chl a/b ratio should not change after dilution of the Chl in the solution. These results suggest that the Chl a/b ratio is a better criterion for the reliability of the absorbance values measured for the determination of chlorophyll concentration than the criterion based on the linearity suggested by the Beer-Lambert law.
