  • The study of job satisfaction among female dentists is essential to improve the quality of their life. In this study, a job satisfaction survey of female dentists in Gwangju was performed and the factors affecting job satisfaction were examined. A survey of female dentists in Gwangju was conducted using a custom-designed and validated questionnaire which incorporated the Korean Dentist satisfaction Survey (KDSS) as well as questions regarding socio-demographics and professional characteristics. Satisfaction for each question was measured by a 5-point Likert scale. The final analysis was performed with 89 questionnaires, after excluding 3 non-response questionnaires. Analysis of the data for each group was carried out using a Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test. The reliability of the questionnaire was identified by the internal consistency of the survey using Cronbach coefficient. The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics 19, SPSS Inc, Chicago, Ill, USA). The level of statistical significance was set at p = 0.05. On analyzing with use of the above mentioned method, the following findings were observed: Income, leisure time, time for self-development, and overall job satisfaction were lower than the average, especially the percentage of dissatisfaction was much higher than that of satisfaction. Satisfaction was associated with age, duration of employment, and the number of assistants. The limitations of this study are the lack of an adequate sample size, convenience sampling during extraction, the lack of questionnaire items, the limitations of quantitative research, and failure to perform measurement in the non-response group. However, female dentists can be expected to achieve a more satisfactory and enhanced working environment if the research based on the current study is followed up in an expanded target group.

  • The study of safety culture estimate has received a wide attentions in many other industries, rather in the contexture of railroad stands at an initial phase. A factor analysis and internal reliability test were conducted to check if the survey results are reliable by looking at how the factors are dimensioned and how the questionnaires are sub-grouped in accordance with such factors, and further if there are any other common attributes being extracted as a new factor. The designed 5 factors were expanded to 7 through the test, and they were renamed accordingly. The questionnaires are reorganized according to the new 7 factors. It implicates that thorough investigation of the common attributes is important in reducing the gaps between interviewers' and interviewees' understanding. Moreover, the results of internal reliability test represent the new design of questionnaire is reasonably acceptable with the high reliable values. We expect such approaches can be applied for the railway culture survey study to be more reliable and applicable.

Survey questionnaires were distributed from October 21, 2002 to October 26,2002 to a total of 564 students at three junior high schools and five senior high schools located in Seoul. The total number of questionnaires collected and used in our study was 479, which is 84.9% of the total questionnaires distributed. According to the survey results, we found significant difference in the nutritional information source between middle and high school students (p < 0.05) , and two groups responded that effective nutrition information material is 'electronic materials'. Most of the respondents connected with internet more than 1 times per day, but a large number of students were not experienced in using nutrition information of the internet. All groups were using nutrition information of the internet for homework, and satisfaction level of using nutrition information of the internet were an average. Effective methods for acquiring nutrition information of internet were 'educational game' for middle school students and 'bulletin board (Q & A)'for high school students. Moreover the factor analysis for internet nutritional information program's characteristics showed that 'instructing plans','contents of study & technical support','availability'and'interaction'were important considerations for developing internet nutritional information program. We found out through our analysis that was a strong need for a more practical and effective internet nutritional education program for middle and high school students.

The total number of questionnaires that we send were 397, however 314 questionnaires were used for analysis, excluding 83 questionnaires that seemed insincerely marked. According to analysis result, non-profit organizations need to strengthen their digital capability in response to the changes in the fund-raising methods in the era of digital transformation. In addition, these factors such as transparency, accountability, and the interaction with donors for sustaining and improving their loyalty are turned out to be crucial. We hope that the results of this study will present the direction of the donation collection strategy of non-profit organizations and be used as basic data for further research.
