  • The purpose of this study is to understand the purchasing intentions of Chinese consumers to Huawei and other domestic brands in the context of the current Sino-US trade war. Taking the mass consumers as the research object, this paper designs Likert five-level scale to investigate consumers' purchase intention of domestic products in the future, and uses SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical software to analyze and process statistical data. Using questionnaire survey and exploratory factor analysis, this paper constructs a model to analyze the impact of consumer ethnocentrism on consumers' purchase intention. By summarizing the overall purchasing intention of consumers, it is concluded that the development of domestic brands in the context of trade war is facing difficulties and challenges in the future, but at the same time, we must seize the opportunity of consumers' ethnocentrism under this background to positively influence their purchasing intention, make up for shortcomings, eliminate overcapacity, and seek greater development through technological innovation.

  • In recent years, the number of foot disease patients is increasing due to bad walking habits and wearing shoes. With the development of shoes and living environment, no one can be relieved from foot disease. A study on the effect of shoe design characteristics on satisfaction and purchase intention when a patient with foot disease purchases orthopedic shoes. The shoe design characteristics consisted of functionality, convenience, and aesthetics. This study is conducted from various perspectives, such as frequency of participation in social activities, purpose of wearing, and status and characteristics of each foot disease. It is expected that the research results will lead to the development of orthopedic shoe designs that can be usefully worn by patients with orthopedic mild foot disease in their daily life, and to lead to practical use and satisfaction.

  • Humans are facing many environmental challenges. Climate change, water pollution, global warming, and hazardous waste disposal are all issues that many countries throughout the world are dealing with. People's psychology and consumer behavior are significantly affected by these challenges, particularly generation Z, which is immediately affected by environmental changes. Young people have a strong sense of curiosity and have access to readily updated knowledge. Today's youth, in particular, live a civilized and responsible lifestyle. As a result, people recognize the significance of their own consumption behavior in affecting environmental change and are increasingly replacing them with green, ecologically friendly products as a fantastic method to mitigate their harmful consequences. In this research, there are four factors related to the young generation and environmental awareness that affect green consumption intention: perceived environmental responsibility, green knowledge, green attitude, and green product value. The goal of this study is to look into how detrimental environmental changes affect Generation Z's green consumption habits. This study used primary data from over 1000 people in the age group, which was processed using the AMOS 20 software. All the characteristics described above had an impact on Generation Z's green consumption intentions, according to the findings.

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: This study aims to explore the potential of convenience stores as platforms for healthy food consumption, including low-sodium options, in response to the increasing trend of meal behaviors at convenience stores and the growing demand for healthy eating. SUBJECTS/METHODS: In the study, 627 Korean participants aged 10 to 39 were involved. A self-reported questionnaire survey was used and questions were regarding purchase patterns, consumption behaviors, perceptions and selection attributes of convenience store foods, and consumer perception factors for low-sodium options. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0 (SPSS, Version 26.0 for Windows, SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). RESULTS: The study uncovered significant disparities in the consumption behavior and perception of convenience store foods, as well as variations in the importance and satisfaction levels with convenience store food attributes, including consumer perception factors for low-sodium options, based on sex and age. Furthermore, it was observed that awareness of the need for low-sodium options significantly influenced purchase intentions. CONCLUSION: This study analyzed consumer attitude toward low-sodium convenience store foods to assess the potentiality for promoting healthy eating in convenience stores. These findings indicate the important role that convenience stores can play as platforms for healthy food sales.

Investigating the Moderating Impact of Hedonism on Online Consumer Behavior (탐색쾌악주의대망상소비자행위적조절작용(探索快乐主义对网上消费者行为的调节作用))

  • Considering the benefits for both consumers and suppliers, firms are taking advantage of the Internet as a medium to communicate with and sell products to their consumers. This trend makes the online shopping environment a growing field for both researchers and practitioners. This paper contributes by testing a model of online consumer behavior with websites varying in levels of hedonism. Unlike past studies, we included all three types of emotions (arousal, pleasure, and dominance) and flow into the model. In this study, we assumed that website interfaces, such as background colors, music, and fonts impact the three types of emotions at the initial exposure to the site (Mazaheri, Richard, and Laroche, 2011). In turn, these emotions influence flow and consumers' perceptions of the site atmospherics-perception of site informativeness, effectiveness, and entertainment. This assumption is consistent with Zajonc (1980) who argued that affective reactions are independent of perceptual and cognitive operations and can influence responses. We, then, propose that the perceptions of site atmospherics along with flow, influence customers' attitudes toward the website and toward the product, site involvement, and purchase intentions. In addition, we studied the moderating impact of the level of hedonism of websites on all the relationship in the model. Thus, the path coefficients were compared between "high" and "low" hedonic websites. We used 39 real websites from 12 product categories (8 services and 4 physical goods) to test the model. Among them, 20 were perceived as high hedonic and 19 as low hedonic by the respondents. The result of EQS 6.1 support the overall model: $\chi^2$=1787 (df=504), CFI=.994; RMSEA=.031. All the hypotheses were significant. In addition, the results of multi-groups analyses reveal several non-invariant structural paths between high and low hedonic website groups. The findings supported the model regarding the influence of the three types of emotions on customers' perceptions of site atmospherics, flow, and other customer behavior variables. It was found that pleasure strongly influenced site attitudes and perceptions of site entertainment. Arousal positively impacted the other two types of emotions, perceptions of site informativeness, and site involvement. Additionally, the influence of arousal on flow was found to be highly significant. The results suggested a strong association between dominance and customers' perceptions of site effectiveness. Dominance was also found to be associated with site attitudes and flow. Moreover, the findings suggested that site involvement and attitudes toward the product are the most important antecedents of purchase intentions. Site informativeness and flow also significantly influenced purchase intentions. The results of multi-group analysis supported the moderating impacts of hedonism of the websites. Compared to low (high) hedonic sites, the impacts of utilitarian (hedonic) attributes on other variables were stronger in high (low) hedonic websites. Among the three types of emotions, dominance (controlling feelings) effects were stronger in high hedonic sites and pleasure effects were stronger in low hedonic sites. Moreover, the impact of site informativeness was stronger for high hedonic websites compared to their low-hedonic counterparts. On the other hand, the influence of effectiveness of information on perceptions of site informativeness and the impact of site involvement on product attitudes were stronger for low hedonic websites than for high hedonic ones.

  • In order to research the factors influencing on the intentions for smart phone users to purchase "App-Book" in Korea, the study examines the levels of influences using on an additional variable, "cost", as well as the four key variables(performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions) proposed by Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT; Venkatesh et al., 2003) validation. The result of the research confirms that the hypotheses of UTAUT model variable are generally supported by the information technology and many related previous researches. There is one exception, however, that facilitating conditions do not influence on the App-Book purchasing behavior by smart phone. It is revealed that the "age" and "experience" of the independent variables, as the proposed control variables, are most visible effect of control on the purchase intention and purchase behavior. This study has an academic significance of presenting a new integrated model to perform the research of the similar next App-Book services and purchase behavior related to the acceptance of new media. It also clarifies to the related companies that the usefulness of App-Book, the easiness of use, the cost and the social influence of purchasing App-Book by Outsider's intent. These aspects have practical implications as being presented.

  • The study tested the moderating effect of 215 women living in Busan to analyze the purchase intention (awareness, health interests, environmental interests) of environment-friendly agricultural products and it's the causal relationship between consumer attitudes and purchasing intention. The results confirmed that all purchase factors for environment-friendly agricultural products had significant causality on consumer attitudes. Significant causality of consumer attitudes on purchase intention was also confirmed. The moderating effect of the number of purchases was analyzed to only significantly affect consumer attitudes on purchase intention and consumer attitudes according to number of purchases were analyzed to vary depending on the intensity of purchase. Information presented in this study means that consumers who are aware of environment-friendly agricultural products, interested in health, and interested in protecting the environment exhibit positive attitudes on environment-friendly agricultural products as well as higher purchase intentions. Therefore, if government and local organizations strengthen the promotion of environment-friendly agricultural products, there may be an acceleration of the consumption of environment-friendly agricultural products, followed by an increase in the income of farmers as well as an increase in the number of farmers who cultivate environment-friendly agricultural products. This may ultimately aid in the conservation of the natural environment of Korea and enhance the health and well-being of the public.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how consumers think about the company's sustainability management activities and whether the company's perceived sustainability activities affect corporate trust and purchase intention. The results of the verification of the research hypothesis to be verified in this study are as follows. First, it was confirmed that corporate sustainability management is specifically classified into economic, social and environmental activities. Second, it was confirmed that corporate sustainability management activities have a positive effect on the corporate trust perceived by consumers. Specific influence relationships are as follows. Firm economic activity does not have a significant effect on corporate credibility, but social and environmental activities have a positive effect on corporate credibility. Third, it was confirmed that the company's sustainability management activities had a significant effect on consumer's purchase intention. Specific influence relationships are as follows. While economic and social activities of firms have a positive effect on consumers' purchase intentions, environmental activities have not been shown to have a significant impact. Fourth, it was confirmed that corporate trust perceived by consumers had a positive effect on purchase intention. It is judged that the results of this analysis are presented to corporate managers. In the process of establishing a company's management strategy, it is to confirm that the efforts of sustainable management activities are activities that substantially help the company's stable growth and development.

  • This study was conducted with female college students in their 20s living in Henan Province, China, who had experience with TikTok. The relationship between TikToker's fashion and consumers' empathy, favorability, and purchase intent is verified. The questionnaires were administered for 10 days from February 1 to February 10, 2022. A total of 316 questionnaires were used for the final analysis, and statistical processing of the collected data was performed using SPSS 26.0 for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, Chinese female college consumers' empathy for women's TikToker fashion positively influenced favorability and purchase intention. Second, Chinese female college consumers' favorability of women's TikToker fashion positively influenced purchase intentions. Based on the results of this study, the following insights can be proposed. When promoting TikTok marketing, attention should be paid to the choice of TikToker. If choose the right TikToker, you can not only increase the favorability of TikToker fashion products but also increase the purchase intention of TikToker fashion. Choosing TikToker with charm, rich emotion, and beautiful appearance help product sales.

  • Modern men are much more interested in their appearance than ever before, as well as showing an increased need for uniqueness in order to construct their own sphere and pursue differentiation from others. Besides, changes in life style and the aesthetic sense are causing men to pursue various kinds of clothing benefits so that they want a suit with characteristics beyond the stereotyped design and style. They have started to be actively engaged in clothing purchases, forming a driving force for the growth of the male suit market. Hence, this study has significance in that it offers data conducive to consumers' custom suit purchase by reviewing data on the present condition of the custom suit market and bespoke suits. In addition, it aims to give a summary on the theoretical bases of preceding studies, including the need for uniqueness, pursuit of clothing benefit and concern for the appearance of male consumers, as well as examining the factors that influence on their bespoke suit purchase intentions. Accordingly, this work intends to construct a basic environment for consumers to approach the custom suit market easily and pave the way for male suit markets through offering marketing data and information that is helpful for custom suit-related markets.
