One of the activities that are almost used by instructors to assess the undergraduate learners (students) performances in the teaching and learning system is performing researches. It's most probably that learners prepare a presentation for the research, through which they conduct their ideas to the audiences (the instructor and their colleagues). Recently, a phenomenon was monitored regarding the research preparation process practiced by the learners, that the majority go directly to the websites, in which they could easily find tons of attractive and ready-made information that fill the gaps of their heavy homework gained from several courses. It's a convenient activity for learners to go through this easy path to fulfil their duties, but the issue is that the output of such path is so weak. The gained information in this case is so shallow, loose, and could easily been evaporated after a while. There is a need to examine the impact of a missing skill in the current learners' generation: the reading practice. It's noticed that library visits to read books were strongly decreased compared with what was happening in the older generations, where the piece of information was hard to collect, but in the same time, is hard to be forgotten. As a part of the teaching and learning process, and through a college of Engineering, this study will introduce results of the comparison between the outputs of the two methods of collecting information: through the web, and through the traditional book reading. This is to highlight the importance of reading through an experiment applied on one section of students who were asked to prepare a research from a certain chapter of their textbook, and compare that with a prior research they had prepared from the websites. The results were impressive and reflected the importance of the missed reading activity.
To train convergence experts ICT infrastructure must be learned IoT use capabilities of things. In this paper, targeted to students that are majoring in computer science, and for the design of the curriculum and the educational model that handles education of operation in general for training IoT-related education for five months to experts of convergence training describe the contents. Course is the basic ability of the process, core competence course, is divided into real-life capability process and on-site training course, was constructed in a total of 10 stages of the process details. Curriculum, it was designed to learn sensing technology, network technology, security, and content production technology. This educational model is utilized for job creation human resource training project of 2015 Ministry of Employment and Labor, it demonstrated the utility to contribute in order to achieve a high completion and the employment rate. Applicable to future university education plans to expand the curriculum, including courses that complement the Java.
In order to prepare for the coming twenty first Century and to meet changing societal dedmands and health needs, it is necessary to develop a new conceptual framework for curriculum the colleges of nursing. The specific objectives of this project were to ; 1) address the problem areas of the existing curriculum which were identified in the first phase of this study ; 2) develop a conceptual framework which will meet faculty, student and societal needs : and 3) identify the content of the curriculum In order to accomplish the objectives, the curriculum committee held 30 weekly meetings during the period of October, 1992 and December, 1993, There also were two workshops with college of nursing faculty members. The Philosophy and objectives of education were revised on the basis of the essential concepts of nursing : human being, nursing, environment, and health. From these basic concepts, six essential components were identified for the conceptual framework. These were nuring process, communication, professional roles, client, and nursing. These six components are interrelated in the curriculum. The complex interrelationship among the six components were presented on horizontal and vertical axes. Concepts related to steady improvement were put on a vertical axis. For example, concepts of client, health, and nursing are included in all levels of nursing curriculum and students are expected to retain and accumulate more complex contents as they progress in curriculum. Concepts on the horizontal axis are nursing process, communication, and professional roles. These concepts are unique to nursing and are common to any level of curriculum. Students are expected to study these concepts through all levels of the curriculum. It is expected that the objectives of the college of nursing will be accomplished when the courses and content of the curriculum are based on this conceptual fremework.
The construction of golf courses has had adverse effects on the natural landscape and delicate ecosystem of Korea. Efficiency in planning and design was necessary to minimize the environmental impact of the original construction. However, the ordinal design methods have limited the data processing by the massive scale of the project of golf course development. Conventional design methods did not have a proper tool for alternative plans on pre-estimation of landscape destruction or minimizing of the environmental impact. Therefore, advanced computerized techniques need to be adapted for golf course design to solve the problems concerning the environmental impacts. Geographic information system (GIS) was applied on the process of geographical data input and analysis through the final outputs. Simulation works by the total database management enable the pre-investigation of the design In view of an assessment of environmental impacts. It is also possible to evaluate plans easily and propose the alternatives properly. Precise quantity calculation of engineering works by computer system should be guaranteed scientific, economic, and environmentally-sound.
In this study, there is a modeling for the procedure and operational method of the project based capstone design and related products which are a certificate of graduate qualification, and those results were evaluated by self-review and the performance assessment. Processing of research based on wireless searching robot is described according to the model. Before one semester by the end of to the assessment, the design thesis of capstone results was fixed to 18 groups with two people in each group. 13 teams out of 18 teams are satisfied the criteria of evaluation, and they all got a grade over 60 points and the other teams are not qualified at the first stage of final judgment. The total team mean average is 71.79. The research based on wireless searching robot was earned the highest average point among the other teams which is 96.1.

Capstone design course in current domestic software education environment has been opened in undergraduate courses in order to improve student's practical skills. However, the capstone design course is hardly applied the software convergence trend. We opened the capstone design course in not only the students in certain department, but also the students in other departments in order to solve this problem, and then we analyzed the operating results of this capstone design course. In the analyzed result, we find that operation of the convergence capstone design course is enough satisfactory, but we find that the operation of the convergence capstone design course has the limit that the certain department operates individually the convergence capstone design project. Hence, we need that the convergence capstone design course is preferably operated as the department-integration.

This study suggests the direction of fashion design education suitable for Korea by comparing the fashion design educational systems and the curricula of the main fashion institutions in Europe and those of some universities in Korea. For this, 6 fashion schools in UK, France and Italy and 12 four-year-course universities in Korea were sellected. At first, the educational systems of the nations above and the information about the selected institutions were examined through literature reviews. Then, case studies were performed about the curricula and the other characteristics of the selected fashion design courses by each website or leaflet as well as additional interviews with their course directors or graduates. The results of this study are as follow: First, Korean fashion design education system needs to be specialized and subdivided with a curriculum centered on fashion design. Second, a foundation course needs to be developed to raise a broad and creative approach for design as well as to discover each student's aptitude. Third, the curricula about design process and research methodology need to raise a problem-solving individual of ability. Fourth, a project-based fashion design education is required by a specialized education as well as multi-disciplinary programs. Fifth, an industry- related and market-based fashion design education is asked through internships, professional teaching staff, industry-sponsored projects, seminars and professional design critics. Sixth, English and technology needs to be added to the curricula to develop global professionals. Finally, a cultural fashion design education based on Korean identity is required to develop the Korean fashion industry into a higher value-added business.
Society is operating with software and a new digital era through the Internet of Things started. A variety of fields are being in conjunction with each other based on computing. As problems in real life become more complicated and communication based on various knowledge and problem solving skills are emphasized, these changes are reflected in the curriculum. These changes started from overseas in advance then Korea includes SW education in elementary and secondary education through curriculum revision of 2015. On the other hand, SW education for university students just started after the curriculum revision of elementary and secondary education. The new SW education highlights and develops Computational Thinking beyond programming and it will be a key for the future. Therefore, this study analyzed trends of Computational Thinking and examples of CT courses in Universities. Suggestions and ideas for instructional model to develop Computational Thinking were discussed.
This study is to propose an 'education-training-certificate of qualification' design of fashion accessories production, which can be applied to education in universities and individuals. It is based on the National Competency Standards (NCS), which was developed through the '2013 National Competency Standards Development Project' for the fashion accessories production. FGI (Focus Group Interviews), which is a research methodology, is carried out on target groups of educational experts and specialists in the field of fashion accessories production. Through this, five courses were suggested; first, 'fashion accessories design' course was proposed for the education and training of 'design development' and 'development of raw materials'. Secondly, 'fashion product production' course was proposed for the education and training of 'production of samples'. Thirdly, 'fashion product manufacture and planning' course was proposed for the competency element units: 'calculation of cost', 'determination of mass production model and price', 'planning of the main manufacturing process' and 'ordering of raw materials'. Lastly, 'mass production of fashion products' course and the 'field practice of fashion product manufacture' course were proposed for the competency element units: 'planning for mass production', 'preparation for mass production', 'mass production' and 'inspection of completed products'. In addition, a new certificate of 'technician of fashion accessory production' was proposed in order to test qualified skills for the fashion accessories production. The test is composed of a written examination of short-answer questions, technical drawing and production.

Purpose: This study analysed the intention of medical students career choice, educational programmes, and mentoring and counseling system for career planning at Yonsei medical school in Korea. Methods: The data were collected based on four separate graduation questionnaires at Yonsei medical school in the years of 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. The number of the survey was 130 in 2005, 130 in 2006, 153 in 2007, and that of the latest was 120 in 2008. We analysed the career intention on medical specialties and activities, and perceptions of important factors in choosing medical specialty. Results : The results which can be drawn from this study are these: firstly. students had more intention for choosing clinical medicine as university faculty than any other activities. While male students preferred to major in surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, otorhinolaryngology, female students in internal medicine, neurology, anesthesiology and pain medicine, diagnostic radiology, laboratory medicine. Secondly, students perceived that the most important factor which can influence on choosing a medical specialty was individual factor such as one's interests and concerns, values, and aptitudes. In stead, they relatively less perceived mentor and role model's effects on choosing a medical specialty compared to those of the United States of America. Third, the career planning at Yonsei medical school was evaluated well, especially educational programmes for career planning such as self assessment programme, elective(specialized) courses, and conversation with a senior programme. Conclusions: Unexpectedly, there are high demands for career planning by medical students. Therefore, we will reorganize systematic devices for career planning such as mentoring and counseling system at medical school.
