Purpose - The multicultural society is a society where a variety of ethnic groups and cultures co-exist. Regarding Korean multicultural society, the public interest in the multicultural society and its problems are on a growing trend due to the increasing number of the multicultural families by international marriage and the foreign immigrant workers. Research design, data, and methodology - Models of the multicultural society policies have been divided into those of assimilation and multiculturalism, while they have been materialized into the models of discriminative exclusivism, assimilation and multiculturalism. Most countries are aiming at the model of either the multiculturalism or the assimilation focused on national managerial situations. Results - In the case of Europe where the multicultural society had been formed earlier than Korea, Islamic immigrants have been politically accepted in order for Europe to overcome the problem of population decrease caused by its low birth-rate. Also, in the case of the United States. Conclusions - Korean multicultural society policies are characterized mostly by supporting the multicultural families of international marriage. In this study, it is intended to present the characteristics of diversified immigrants and the possible directions of the polices on immigrant youth in accordance with each country's managerial policy.

The Electronic Stability Program (ESP), a system that improves vehicle safety, also known as YMC (Yaw Motion Controller) or VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control), is a system that operates in unstable or sudden driving and braking situations. Developing conditions such as unstable or sudden driving and braking situations in a vehicle are very dangerous unless you are an experienced professional driver. Additionally, many repetitive tests are required to collect reliable data, and there are many variables to consider such as changes in the weather, road surface, and tire condition. To overcome this problem, in this paper, hardware and control software such as the ESP controller, vehicle engine, ABS, and TCS module, composed of three control zones, are modeled using MATLAB/SIMULINK, and the vehicle, climate, and road surface. Various environmental variables such as the driving course were modeled and studied for the real-time ESP real-time simulator that can be repeatedly tested under the same conditions.

Let $A_1$ and $A_2$ be nonzero complex idempotent and tripotent matrix, respectively. Denote a linear combination of the two matrices by A = $c_1A_1$ + $c_2A_2$, where $c_1,\;c_2$ are nonzero complex scalars. In this paper, under an assumption of $A_1A_2$ = $A_2A_1$, we characterize all situations in which the linear combination is tripotent. A statistical interpretation of this tripotent problem is also pointed out. Moreover, In [2], Baksalary characterized all situations in which the above linear combination is idem-potent by using the property of decomposition of a tripotent matrix, i.e. if $A_2$ is tripotent, then $A_2$ = $B_1-B_2$, where $B^2_i=B_i$, i = 1, 2 and $B_1B_2=B_2B_1=0$. While in this paper, by utilizing a method different from the one used by Baksalary in [2], we prove the theorem 1 in [2] again.

본 논문은 초음파 센서에 의해 인식된 정보를 항체와 항원으로 모델링 된 퍼지 인공 명역망에 의한 하위 행위기와 상위 행동 선택기로 설계된 자율이동로봇 시스템에 관한 연구이다. 외부 환경과 행동 패턴의 관계는 매우 많은 조합이 가능하다. 이러한 복잡한 관계 속에서 행동의 우선 순위를 어떻게 결정하는가 하는 문제가 가장 중요하다. 이러 복잡한 결정을 위해 본 논문에서는 퍼지 인공 면역망 알고리즘을 제시하고, 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의해 제안된 자율이동로봇의 행위 선택기의 유용성을 보여준다.

통계는 삶의 문제에서 출발하여 주어진 문제를 해결하기 위해 통계문제로 번안되고, 자료가 정의되고 수집되어 적절하게 통계를 활용하여 원문제의 해결을 해야 한다. 그러므로 통계교육은 이러한 연장선상에서 유기적이고 체계적으로 이루어져야 한다. 이 논문에서는 초등 통계 영역이 가지는 문제점들로 교육과정상의 문제점, 교과서 구성 측면에서의 문제점, 수업 운영의 문제점, 실생활과의 연계 부족, 다른 영역과의 연계성의 문제, 통계에 대한 인식의 문제 등을 살펴보았다. 이러한 문제점의 해결방안에 대해 탐구하여 초등통계교육의 개선을 위한 시사점을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.

Forest parks are regarded as one of the scientific ways to keep the forest sustainably developed, meanwhile deliver the benefits to the general public. The development of forest parks in China has experienced simply more than 20 years and both the exploitation and management institutions haven't been set up systematically, which, in reality, reflects as inadequate legislative and policy framework. Without the regulatory guidance and collaborating assistance of environment relating governmental sectors at both national and local levels, it's inevitable that the development of forest parks in the country would face constant problems and conflicts. Therefore, it might be helpful to sort out this conflicts and problems and further more to work out how to solve the barriers. The research in this report started with introducing the IUCN Protected Areas Categories, the overall current situations in China and compared the definition of forest parks in the country and that in international experience. It is to aim to find out the real usufruct rights conflicts during the exploitation and management of forest parks and the method used in this report is field visit, previous investigation, collecting secondary materials, interview, analysis and comparison. The research result in this report couldn't cover all the conflict situations during the forest parks' exploitation and management in China but will provide the analysis of this problem from the legal perspective. Practical application and concerning suggestion will be fully discussed in Part 5 in terms of legislative, social and environmental effects.

This study has investigated Linear Programming (LP) applications to special decision making problems in managerial accounting with the help of spreadsheet Solver tools. It uses scenario approaches to case examples having three products and three resources in make-and-supply business operations, which is applicable to cases having more variables and constraints. Integer Programmings (IP) are applied in order to model situations when products are better valued in integer values or logical constraints are required. Three cases in one-time-only special order decisions include Goal Programming approach, Knapsack problems with 0/1 selections, and fixed-charge 0/1 integer modelling techniques for set-up operation costs. For the decisions in outsourcing problems, opportunity-costs of resources expressed by shadow-prices are considered to determine their precise contributions. It has also shown that the improvement in work-shop operation for an unprofitable product must overcome its 'reduced cost' by the sum of direct manufacturing cost savings and its shadow-price contributions. This paper has demonstrated how various real situations of special decision problem in managerial accounting can be approached without mistakes by using LP's and IP's, and how students both in accounting and management science can acquire LP skills in their education.

기존의 시약장의 경우 시약들을 성상 별로 분류하지 않고 관리하게 되면 위험 상황이 발생할 수 있는 문제점이 있다. 또한 위험 상황 발생 시 외부에서 시약장을 제어할 수 있는 기능이 미비한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 시약들을 관리하기 위해 성상 별로 분류하고 모바일 디바이스에서 시약장을 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 설계한다. 성상 분류를 통해 제 1류에서 제 6류까지 각 시약들을 분류에 맞게 관리하고 모바일 디바이스에서는 센서 제어, 시약 및 센서 데이터 모니터링, 위험 상황 발생 시 알람 메시지를 전송한다. 이로 인해 성상 분류를 통하여 연구실 내 사고를 줄이고 위험 상황 발생 시 외부에서도 신속한 대처가 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

최근 의료시스템과 정보통신기술을 융합하여 언제 어디서나 제약을 받지 않고 사용자의 생체정보를 측정하는 웨어러블에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 웨어러블 기기는 측정된 생체정보를 모니터링 할뿐 사용자가 위급한상황이 발생할 경우에 대한 대처는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 생체정보를 측정하는 센서들과 알고리즘을 활용하여 사용자의 상태를 식별하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 통해 사용자가 낙상이나 넘어짐 같은 위험상황이 발생할 경우 지정된 보호자에게 긴급 알림 메시지를 전송하여 위험상황을 신속하게 대처할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
