A numerical procedure for the analysis of slender arch buckling problems for uniform dead weight is presented in this paper. Such loading changes in the arch profile. The problem is nonlinear. The numerical procedure is limited to an inextensible analysis and to elastic behavior. Based upon a numerical integration technique developed by Newmark for straight beams, a large deflection bending analysis is combined with small deflection buckling routines to formulate the numerical procedure. The numerical procedure is composed of a combination of the numerical integration and successive approximations procedure. The results obtained in this study are as follows : 1.The critical loads obtained in this study coincide with the results by Austin so that the algorithm developed in this study is verified. 2.The numerical results are converged with good precision when the half arch is divided into 10 segments in both Prime and Quadratic section. 3.The critical loads are decreased as the ratios of rise versus span are increased. 4.The critical loads are increased as the moments of inertia at the ends are increased. 5.The critical loads of Prime section are larger than that of Quadratic section under the same profile conditions.

In this paper, we show the existence of open subsets U of $S^3$ which admit a C-transformation onto the interior of $B^3$. Let U be an open set which is homeomorphic to the interior of $B^3$. Then, we prove that if U has a pseudo general polyhedral prime end structure then U admits a C-transformation.

This paper is mainly associated with setting out an agenda for the transformation of security by creating a new framework for a security system, which can maximise its effectiveness. Noticeably, this research shows empirically that crimes are getting a major cost to organisations, which if reduced by security and investigations could reap substantial rewards to the finances of an organisation. However, the problem is that the delivery of security is frequently delegated to personnel (e.g. security guards) with limited training, inadequate education, and no real commitment to professionalism - 'sub-prime' security, finally causing security failures. Therefore, if security can be enhanced to reduce the crime cost, this will produce financial benefits to business, and consequently could produce a competitive advantage. For this, the paper basically draws upon Luke's theoretical framework for deconstructing 'power' into three dimensions. Using this three-dimensional approach, the paper further sets out a model of how security can be enhanced, utilising a new Security Risk Management (SRM) model, and how can this SRM model create competitive advantage in business. Finally, this paper ends with the six strategies needed to enhance the quality of security: refiguring as SRM, Professional Staff, Accurate Measurement, Prevention, Cultural Change, and Metrics.

The present work aims to analyzed the transient thermoelastic stress analysis of a thin circular plate with uniform internal heat generation. Initially, the plate is characterized by a parabolic temperature distribution along the z-direction given by T = T₀(r, z) and perfectly insulated at the ends z = 0 and z = h. For times t > 0, the surface r = a is subjected to convection heat transfer with convection coefficient h_c and fluid temperature T_∞. The integral transform method used to obtain the analytical solution for temperature, displacement, and thermal stresses. The associated thermoelastic field is analyzed by making use of the temperature and thermoelastic displacement potential function. Numerical results are carried out with the help of computational software PTC Mathcad Prime-3.1 and shown in figures.

Even though Chilean writer Roberto $Bola{\tilde{n}}o^{\prime}s$ novel Amulet was inspired by a historical account, it significantly rewrites the story as well as redefines the people who witnessed the history. This novel focuses on the Uruguayan poet Auxilio Lacouture, the self-anointed "mother of Mexican Poetry". She is trapped in a bathroom at the UNAM in Mexico City for thirteen days while the army storms the campus for the repression of the student movement, which was decreed by the sinister Díaz Ordaz and culminated in the holocaust of Tlatelolco. In the space isolated from the outside world, Auxilio attempts to reconstruct the past and to describe the future through an illogical exercise of times. In the meantime, her temporal recollections finally approach the definition of a generation whose historical experience is crucially marked by the key year of 1968, when the novel is set. The only one who remained on the campus, she defends the university's autonomy only by reading and writing poetry. The novel ends in a scene densely imbued with allegorical imagination, by which the author endeavors to justify her generation, more concretely, "the peoples without history", as defined by bohemian poets. The protagonist represents, in some sense, an allegory of the innocence and truth of the history. Her existence per se manifestly demonstrates the power of literature because the literature within this novel in short becomes the most resilient amulet resisting the political violence in an era of increasing madness.

The Mediation-Arbitration hybrid is becoming more popular since it makes an amicable relationship and thorough statement possible. The Mediation-Arbitration hybrid has been used to take advantage of both dispute resolution methods. In a Med-Arb process, negotiating a resolution to disputes is attempted with a mediator's help. If the mediation ends in an impasse or issues remain unresolved, parties can move on to arbitration. Med-Arb can also be cost-effective when disputants hire one person to serve as mediator and arbitrator (Med-Arb-Pure). However, it can disturb the fairness and neutrality of arbitrators, and awards can be annulled. Indeed, "Award by Consent" is different from the "Med-Arb-Pure" process. Arbitrators easily confuse them. Only the parties settle on the arbitral proceedings' course, and the arbitrator can help them (award by consent). The role and skill of a mediator are different from an arbitrator's. Disputants have the right to use a mediator who specializes in mediation. Moreover, mediation communication confidentiality is the essential value of mediation, and this should be protected. Therefore, in the process of "Med-Arb," separation between mediating and arbitrating is a better choice to specialize in each expertise. In this process, "Med-Arb" can be an affordable, expeditious, proper, and effective method of resolving international commercial disputes and continuing ADR prime time.

빅데이터는 데이터과학의 발전에 힘입어 경제적 및 정책적 변화의 키워드로 각광받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 엔터테인먼트 분야에서 빅데이터 활용이 증가하고 성공사례 역시 빈번히 관찰되고 있음에 따라 국내 엔터테인먼트 콘텐츠 기업에서의 빅데이터 활용 현황을 살펴보고자 했다. 이를 위해 변화된 엔터테인먼트 콘텐츠 제작과 배포, 소비환경의 특성을 요약했으며 국내외의 대표적인 사례를 소개했다. 또한 콘텐츠 기업 블로터와 네오터치포인트의 사례 연구를 통해 콘텐츠 분야에서 데이터를 어떻게 활용하고 있으며, 앞으로에 대한 전망은 어떠한지 파악하고자 하였다. 분석을 통해 콘텐츠의 특정 흥미 요소를 파악하고 공유 조건을 분석하는 등, 소비자 이용 형태와 콘텐츠 제작에 빅데이터를 활용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 현재 국내 엔터테인먼트 콘텐츠 영역에서 빅데이터는 전면적인 활용을 준비하는 단계이지만 앞으로의 전망을 위해서는 개발자와 분야 전문가의 협업, 구체적인 목적의 설정과 설계의 필요성이 제시됐다.

법랑아세포종은 1868년에 처음 보고된 이래 명칭, 발생기전, 분류 그리고 치료 방법 등에 관하여 수 많은 논란이 있어 왔는데 이는 법랑세포종이 양성종양임에도 불구하고 종양자체의 진행이 파괴적이고, 외과적 처치를 한 후에도 재발이 잘되며, 흔하지는 않지만 악성종양과 유사하게 전이를 보이는 등 독특한 특성을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 정상세포와 암 세포 간에 차이를 보이는 유전자 혹은 정상세포에서 변형이 일어날 때 특이적으로 발현하는 유전의 분리 및 분석하는 것은 암세포의 생성과정을 이해하는데 있어서 중요한 열쇠를 제공할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 RNA differential display 방법 중 재연성과 반복성이 개선된 Ordered differential display(ODD)RT-PCR과 보다 개선된 $GeneFishing^{TM}$기술을 이용하여 악성과 양성종양 사이의 유전자 발현의 차이를 조사하고, 특이 유전자의 profile을 확보하고자 하였다. $GeneFishing^{TM}$기술과 RT-PCR을 수행한 결과 nasopharyngeal carcinoma gene을 제외한 9개의 유전자는 악성에서 특이적으로 발현되는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 $GeneFishing^{TM}$을 이용하면 각 시료간의 mRNA 상에서 발현차이를 보이는 DEG를 비교 분석하면 암관련 유전자, 항생제 태성 유전자, 그리고 분화 관련 유전자들에 대한 연구가 용이하게 수행할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

본고는 일본 현대연극이 가타리모노 셋교부시를 수용하여 어떻게 현대화했는가에 주목하여 작품을 분석하였다. 아울러 이를 통하여 '셋교부시에 의한 미세모노(見せ物)오페라' 장르로 탄생하는 과정을 밝히고자 하였다. 이와 관련해서는 중세의 스토리텔링 셋교부시를 현대적 '미세모노 오페라'로 재탄생시켰다는 점에서, 데라야마가 언그라 1세대들과 확연히 다른 점에 대해 논했던 종래의 평가들과는 또 다른 시각을 제시하고자 한다. 60년대 일본 언그라운동 1세대 데라야마 슈지(寺山修司)의 <신토쿠마루(身毒丸)>(1978년)는 서사적 이야기에 가락을 붙여 음송하는 가타리모노(語り物) 셋교부시(說經節) <신토쿠마루(俊德丸)>를 소재로 한 작품으로서, 동아시아 스토리텔링의 현대적 유산이라고 할 수 있다. 셋교 <신토쿠마루>는 계모의 저주로 나병에 걸린 신토쿠마루가 텐노지(天王寺)에서 약혼자 오토히메(乙姬)라는 여성의 헌신적인 사랑과 관음(?音)의 영력(?力)에 의해 구원되는 이야기이다. 데라야마 슈지는 셋교부시의 서사적 형식에 J.A.시저(シ?ザ?본명 寺原孝明)의 주술적인 락(rock)음악을 결합시키고 부제를 '셋교부시에 의한 미세모노 오페라(說敎節による見世物オペラ)'라고 하였다. 근원소재인 모자신 신앙(母子神信仰)의 원리로 보이는 '모도리(もどり; 회귀)' 본능의 중세적 종교 세계를 데라야마 슈지는 모자상간의 세계로 변화시킨다. 그리고 셋교부시에서 나타나는 보편적인 복수장면은 신토쿠마루가 계모인 나데시코(撫子)의 복장과 가면을 쓴 드래그 퀸(drag queen: 여장)의 모습으로 이복동생 센사쿠(せんさく)를 근친상간하는 것으로 복수한다. 이 작품은 셋교부시의 전형적인 인과 구조를 따르고 있고, 작품 전반에 개입하여 전체적 서사를 진행시키는 이야기꾼(語り手, 카타리테)과 야나기타 구니오(柳田國男)박사의 등장은 서사 장치인 자기소개 기법과 코러스의 현대적 활용을 보여준다. 특히 코러스 가사에서 데라야마 슈지의 불행한 어린 시절의 기억, 즉 아버지의 부재, 아오모리현(?森?)의 대공습 경험이 자동기술법처럼 묘사되어 내용을 심층화하고 있다. 이후 니나가와 유키오(?川幸雄)의 연출 버전은 초연 때부터의 공동 극작가였던 기시다 리오(岸田理生)가 데라야마의 사후 17년을 경과해 다시 쓴 개정판으로 데라야마 슈지의 원작 <신토쿠마루>를 널리 알렸다. 그러나 그의 연출 버전에서는 데라야마가 이 작품에 붙인 부제의 요소가 전부 삭제됨으로써 극단 연극실험실 '덴조사지키(天井?敷)'가 시도한 다양한 실험연극의 줄기와 본질로부터 벗어나 있다. <신토쿠 마루>는 현대연극의 서사구조를 갖고 있지만 각 단락이 독립적인 이야기를 구성하면서도 서로 유기적인 결합이 가능하도록 한 구조를 갖고 있다.
