This study would suggest to analyze the perceptions of good mathematics teaching in high school and offer the resolutions for the conflicts caused by differences in perception between teachers and students in math class through previous studies and comparative implications. To this end, Students are classified by their courses, grades, gender awarenesses and they were analyzed and compared by the survey results. Although the preference for the math class that fixs the misconception of students is highest, regardless of the kinds of students groups. Academic students, middle-ranked students, female students have high affinity for the class to evaluate the material covered in class and take into account their level of assessment and instruction, low-ranked student's preference is higher for the class that has focused on understanding communicating their thinking processes than students. From this, it is suggested that academic students, low-ranked students are needed to be taught in a way that increases their confidence, interests, values and also in atmosphere that make math class a positive experience.
In real life, a decision-maker can assign multiple values for pairwise comparison with a certain confidence level. Studies incorporating multi-choice parameters in multi-criteria decision-making methods are lacking in the literature. So, In this work, an extension of the Best-Worst Method (BWM) with multi-choice pairwise comparisons and multi-choice confidence parameters has been proposed. This work incorporates an extension to the original BWM with multi-choice uncertainty and confidence level. The BWM presumes the Decision-Maker to be fully confident about preference criteria vectors best to others & others to worst. In the proposed work, we consider uncertainty by giving decision-makers freedom to have multiple choices for preference comparison and having a corresponding confidence degree for each choice. This adds one more parameter corresponding to the degree of confidence of each choice to the already existing MCDM, i.e. multi-choice BWM and yields acceptable results similar to other studies. Also, the consistency ratio remained low within the acceptable range. Two real-life case studies are presented to validate our study on proposed models.
The aim of this paper is to give three equilibrium existence theorems for generalized games with lower semi continuous constraint and preference multimaps by using Michael's continuous selection theorem.

The purpose of this study is to analyze selection of factors of Schoenfeld's problem solving behavior shown in problem solving process of mathematically gifted students based on brain preference of the students and to present suggestions related to hemispheric lateralization that should be considered in teaching such students. The conclusions based on the research questions are as follows. First, as for problem solving methods of the students in the Gifted Education Center based on brain preference, the students of left brain preference showed more characteristics of the left brain such as preferring general, logical decision, while the students of right brain preference showed more characteristics of the right brain such as preferring subjective, intuitive decision, indicating that there were differences based on brain preference. Second, in the factors of Schoenfeld's problem solving behavior, the students of left brain preference mainly showed factors including standardized procedures such as algorithm, logical and systematical process, and deliberation, while the students of right brain preference mainly showed factors including informal and intuitive knowledge, drawing for understanding problem situation, and overall examination of problem-solving process. Thus, the two types of students were different in selecting the factors of Schoenfeld's problem solving behavior based on the characteristics of their brain preference. Finally, based on the results showing that the factors of Schoenfeld's problem solving behavior were differently selected by brain preference, it may be suggested that teaching problem solving and feedback can be improved when presenting the factors of Schoenfeld's problem solving behavior selected more by students of left brain preference to students of right brain preference and vice versa.

Dealing with uncertainty is always a challenging problem. Intuitionistic fuzzy sets was presented to manage situations in which experts have some membership and non-membership value to assess an alternative. Hesitant fuzzy sets was used to handle such situations in which experts hesitate between several possible membership values to assess an alternative. In this paper, the concept of intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set is introduced to provide computational basis to manage the situations in which experts assess an alternative in possible membership values and non-membership values. Distance measure is defined between any two intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy elements. Fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution is developed for intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set to solve multi-criteria decision making problem in group decision environment. An example is given to illustrate this technique.
This study was carried out to investigate preference and purchase factors of seaweed in some regional residents of Korea. Subjects were residents (n = 1,218) whose residential area was divided into inland and coastal region and the survey was done during December 2007. Especially, purchase factors of seaweeds was conducted only in married females (n = 353). The subjects are composed of 46.5% male and 53.5% female. Regional distribution of subjects was found to be 16~17%, with highest ratio in the age bracket of 20~29 years old. Proportion of students, at 29.8%, was the highest ranking occupation of the subjects. Preference score of seaweeds by region was highest for laver followed by brown seaweed and sea tangle. In terms of preference by gender, female subjects displayed higher preference score for green laver (p < 0.01), seaweed fusiforme, brown seaweed, sea tangle (p < 0.001) than the male subjects. Considerations being made when purchasing seaweeds for each region were in the order of freshness, taste and nutrition. In comparing the inland and coastal region, scores of freshness, convenience, design and color for the coastal region was higher, displaying significant difference.

User requirements for access and authentication increase daily because of the diversification of the Internet of Things (IoT) and social structures. The increase in authentication needs requires the generation of new passwords. Users want to utilize the same passwords for memorization convenience. However, system administrators request each user to use different passwords, as well as passwords that include special symbols. Differnet passwords and including special symbols passwords seem to exceed the tolerance range within your memorization skills. It fetches a very negative consequences in terms of password management. This paper proposes a preference symbol password system that does not require memorization by users. First, a survey is conducted to prove statistical safety, and based on this, an evolution-type password system that uses preference symbols is designed. Preference symbol passwords show superiority with respect to installation cost and convenience, compared with conventional non-memorizing password systems such as biometrics, keystrokes, and mouse patterns.
In real-life scenarios, we may have to deal with real numbers or numbers in intervals or a combination of both to solve multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems. Also, we may come across a situation where we must combine this interval and actual number membership values into a single real number. The most significant factor in combining these membership values into a single value is by using aggregation operators or scoring algorithms. To overcome such a situation, we suggest the cubic hypersoft set (CHSS) concept as a workaround. Ultimately, this makes it simple for the decision-maker to obtain information without misconceptions. The primary aim of this study is to establish some operational laws for the cubic hypersoft set, present the fundamental properties of aggregation operators and propose an algorithm by using the technique of order of preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) technique based on correlation coefficients to analyze the stress-coping skills of workers.
In this paper, we propose a new idea to evaluate the prediction accuracy of user's preference generated by memory-based collaborative filtering algorithm before prediction process in the recommender system. Our analysis results show the possibility of a pre-evaluation before the prediction process of users' preference of item's transaction on the web. Classification functions proposed in this study generate a user's rating pattern under certain conditions. In this research, we test whether classification functions select users who have lower prediction or higher prediction performance under collaborative filtering recommendation approach. The statistical test results will be based on the differences of the prediction accuracy of each user group which are classified by classification functions using the generative probability of specific rating. The characteristics of rating patterns of classified users will also be presented.
In this paper, we give a Peleg type KKM theorem on G-convex spaces and using this, we obtain a coincidence theorem. First, these results are applied to a whole intersection property, a section property, and an analytic alternative for multimaps. Secondly, these are used to proved existence theorems of equilibrium points in qualitative games with preference correspondences and in n-person games with constraint and preference correspondences for non-paracompact wetting of commodity spaces.
