This article examine the way in which communication-related variables such as argumentativeness, verbal aggressiveness, and communication anxiety have an effect on conflict management. Four hundred and four college students participated in this survey. The findings are as follows. First argumentativeness had positive effects on integrating, dominating, and compromising style, while negatively on obliging and avoiding style. Second verbal aggressiveness resulted in more of dominating style and less of avoidance. Third communication anxiety had positive effects on avoidance and obliging style and had negative effects on integrating and dominating style. These findings are coupled with further discussion and implication.

Information-oriented society caused by development of computer and communication has benefited us with a convenient life. However, its side effects are widespread, which increases the need of the education of information and communication ethics. In this study, we take an approach of virtue education to cultivate information and communication ethics, as virtue is required to make a desirable information-oriented society. Lessons of Myungsimbogam were administered to the 6th grade elementary school students for nine weeks. The results demonstrated positive effects in internet addiction, chat addiction, and netiquette for the experimental group. However, no positive effects in game addiction were found.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the relationship between ego resilience, family resilience, and the perception of successful aging in nursing students; additionally, specific factors relating to the perception of successful aging were identified. Methods: The participants comprised 154 nursing students. Data were collected through the administration of self-reported questionnaires. Data analysis was then performed utilizing a t-test, an ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: Family resilience differed significantly based on the type of residence (p=.020) (i.e., living with grandparents (p=.048)). Perception of successful aging differed significantly based on grade (p<.001). The perception of successful aging showed a positive correlation relative to mode of communication and organizational pattern. The mode of communication accounted for 4.7% of perception of successful aging. Conclusion: The significance of the study on the importance of mode of communication was confirmed by identifying the effects of the perception of successful aging. Nursing students may actively cope with crises through communication; thus, successfully recognizing aging in order to lead a healthy life. Furthermore, having a high perception of successful aging while treating an increasing number of elderly patients at the clinical practice is believed to have a positive effect on patient care.

The purpose of this study was to understand the interrelationships between the customers' perception of verbal and nonverbal communication, customers' trust and satisfaction in the family restaurant. Based on a total of 310 samples that were obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of 2 hypotheses using the Amos program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, $X^2$=953.126(df=417), p<.001, CMIN/df 2.286, GFI .831, NFI .889, IFI .934, TLI .926, CFI .934. The results showed that employees' verbal communication ($\beta$=.264), paralanguage ($\beta$=.172) and physical appearance ($\beta$=.120) among the nonverbal communications had a significant positive effect on the customers' trust. In addition, the customers' trust ($\beta$=.644) had a significant positive effect on the customer satisfaction. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of the JigsawⅣ cooperative learning in a facilitative communication class of nursing students. Achievement, communication skill, self-directed learning and experience during the class were measured. Method: This study was a pretest and posttest design with two subject groups. 43 students were in experimental (JigsawⅣ) group and 47 ones were in control (general small discussion) group. Classes were conducted over a 6-week period. The collected data was analyzed by the SPSS 12.0 program. Result: After taking part in the educational program, the experimental group had significantly more improvement in communication skill (F=6.81, p=.002) and self-directed learning (F=11.81, p=.000). In addition, the experimental group showed significantly higher scores for concentration in the class (t=2.26, p=.27), positive emotional state (t=3.01, p=.003) and active participation (t=2.78, p=.007) compared to the control group. However, the achievement between the two groups was not significantly different (F=3.29, p=.073). Conclusion: The findings of this study show that JigsawⅣ cooperative learning has positive effects in improvement of communication skill and self-directed learning. Also, students were excited and interested in the class during cooperative learning. Based on these findings, the author suggests developing additional educational programs focusing on nursing students.

The purpose of this study was providing implications in teaching and learning activities to vitalize mathematical communication and to raise positive attitudes about mathematics. We analyzed mathematical communication, disposition and attitudes of the students who had lower mathematical achievement rather than that of Korean language in class using reading materials and strategies. We found that teaching-learning activities using the reading materials and strategies let the low achievers in mathematics communicate more about mathematical notions and problem-solving process actively. The activities triggered interests and attention of mathematics and self-study. In addition, the lessons with reading materials and strategies aroused confidence, will and responsibility to mathematics learning to the students. They made the learners notice mathematics' values and roles and gave the opportunity of reflection about students' learning processes. As a result, the teaching-learning using reading materials and strategies should be developed and accomplished actively in classroom to turn mathematical inclination and attitudes of the students who had had negative inclination and attitudes to mathematics into those of positive and to vitalize mathematical communication to the lower achievers in mathematics.

Relationships between consumer socialization factors and socioeconomic characteristics and consumptionism propensity were examined using a sample of 529 middle school students in Inchon, Korea. OL.S regression was utilized. ＇Communication with friend＇ and ＇acceptance of mass media＇ had significant positive effects on ＇ego-identity developing and differentiating by uniqueness＇ and ＇other oriented and appearance pursuing＇ propensity, whereas had a significant negative effect on ＇consumption orientation＇, ＇Communication with mother＇ had a significant positive effect on ＇consumption orientation＇. Boys where significantly higher than girls in ＇ego-identity developing and differentiating by uniqueness＇ and girls were significantly higher than boys in ＇other oriented and appearance pursuing＇. ＇Income had significant positive effects on ego-identity developing and differentiating by uniqueness＇.

The purpose of this study was to find the general trends of college students'dating violence and coping behavior, to examine the difference among dating violence and coping behavior according to individual variables and relational variables, and to analyze the effects of these variables influencing coping behavior. The major findings were as follow; First, 99.1% of respondents reported that they had experienced violence at least once. The score of violence offense and violence victimization was lower than median. But male students' sexual violence was significantly higher than females'. Second, total score of coping behavior was lower than median. The score of female students positive coping was significantly higher than males, and that of mate students' avoidance coping was significantly higher than females. Third, the violence style varied with sex, altitude toward violence, anti-communication, and conflict. etc. Fourth, the positive coping behavior varied with victim response and victimization of physical violence. etc. The avoidance coping behavior varied with sex, age, grade, sex-role attitude, and partner's sexual violence. etc. ruth, the positive coping behavior was influenced by sex, partner's psychological violence, conflict, anti-communication. etc. The avoidance coping behavior was influenced by sex and grade.

This paper is aimed to exam factors in the perceived service quality of web portal site and to analyze their effects on customer satisfaction. And this paper analysis satisfaction effects on revisit intention. To accomplish this purpose, this study examined previous studies and summarized core factors of service quality. Form literature survey, we drawn core factors. They are convenience, technologies, valuable of contents and service, communication, positioning. These core factors will affect on customer trust, satisfaction and satisfaction will affect on revisit intention. This study examined previous studies and summarized core factor in perceived service quality of web portal site. Fourteenth hypothesis were developed. Data for empirical testing were collected through survey to portal sites user. The results of this study are as follows; First, we find that service, communication and positioning have positive influence on the trust. Second, convenience, valuable of contents and postioning factors have a positive influence on the satisfaction. Third, it is shown that satisfaction have a positive influence on the revisit intention.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between the viewing motivation, viewing commitment, re-audience intention, and game use intention of e-sports competition broadcast viewers. According to the purpose of the study, an online survey was conducted on 300 college students with experience watching broadcasting of e-sports competitions. After excluding inappropriate data from 8 out of 300 people, 292 people's data were used for final data processing. For data processing, the validity and reliability were verified using SPSS 26 and AMOS 23, and then the research hypothesis was verified. We has the results were shown as follows. First, it was found that entertainment, social intercourse and vicarious satisfaction had a positive effect on viewing commitment, but information has not significantly effect on viewing commitment. Second, it was found that viewing commitment had a positive effect on reviewing intention and game use intention. Third, it was found that reviewing intention had a positive effect on game use intention.
