Efficiency Optimization Control of PMSM (PMSM 드라이브의 효율 최적화 제어)

  • IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) is widely used in many applications such as an electric vehicle, compressor drives of air conditioner and machine tool spindle drives. In order to maximize the efficiency in such applications, this paper is proposed the optimal control method of the armature current. The controllable electrical loss which consists of the copper loss and the iron loss can be minimized by the optimal control of the armature current. The minimization of loss is possible to realize efficiency optimization control for the proposed IPMSM The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system, the operating characteristics controlled by efficiency optimization control are examined in detail by simulation.

  • This paper presents the new simulation model for the performance analysis of Surface-Mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(SMPMSM) Drive System which is integrated with a controller and a power converter. To enhance reusability and compatibility, the system model is expressed by the association of independent sub-modules reflecting the real physical construction. This concept allows another independent sub-module to be effectively inserted in the model for the comprehensive analysis of larger systems such as a Machine Tool and HEV. The developed model which is composed of MATLAB/Simulink's basic blocks can rapidly analyze not only the entire behavior of system, but also the functional relationship between each components for the effective development of controller.

  • 본 논문은 부하상태에 따른 매입형 영구자석 전동기에서의 역기전력 파형을 제시하였다. 유한요소해석에 기초한 고정투자율법을 사용하여 무부하 상태뿐만 아니라 부하상태에 따른 역기전력 파형을 해석하였고, 매입형 영구자석 전동기의 설계변수가 역기전력 파형의 고조파 성분에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다.

  • The claw-pole PM(Permanent Magnet) stepping motor has the advantage of the positioning machine because of a relatively little step angle, facility of control, and detent torque characteristics. Although the research about this motor has been progressed, it was difficult to analyze because of three-dimensional magnetic circuit. This paper performed analysis of the static and dynamic characteristics of the claw-pole PM stepping motor using 3D-FEM(Finite Element Method). We also manufactured the test products and practiced performance tests for verification of the analysis results.

  • The PM(Permanent Magnet) stepping Motor has been used widely to a variety of industries because of the open-loop control characteristic, a relatively large frequency range of velocity control and non-accumulated error of the step angle. Moreover, It has been gradually applied to office automation, machine intelligence, digital appliance, and automobile parts. This paper presents the optimal design results by use of the experimental method. The design variables of the PM stepping motor are shape of the claw-pole, material of core, and air-gap. As a result, a superior claw-pole PM stepping motor for OA machinery was developed.

  • 6상 전동기는 높은 신뢰성과 토크 리플의 저감 등의 성능 이점으로 인해 다양한 산업 분야에서 고려되고 있다. 6상 전동기는 일반적으로 두 3상 권선의 형태로 모델링할 수 있으며, 독립된 두 개의 전류 제어기를 사용하는 경우, 두 3상 권선 간의 상호 간섭 인덕턴스의 영향으로 인하여 불안정해지는 특성이 있다. 안정적인 전동기 구동을 위하여, 비대칭 6상 전동기의 상호 간섭 영향을 최소화하는 전류 제어기가 필요하다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서는 이산 영역에서의 6상 전동기의 전류 제어 폐루프 응답 특성을 분석하고 비간섭 (Decoupling) 전류 제어기 구조를 제시한다.

  • 최근 환경 파괴와 에너지 고갈에 대한 문제들이 사회의 큰 문제로 대두 되면서 풍력발전의 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LabVIEW를 이용하여 이더넷(Ethernet) 환경에서의 풍력발전 원격감시 제어시스템을 구현하였다. 제안된 원격감시 제어시스템은 풍력발전 시스템의 MCU와 W5100의 SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface)를 통한 이더넷 통신용 하드웨어를 구축하였으며, NI사의 LabVIEW를 이용하여 서버상의 HMI(Human Machine Interface) 소프트웨어를 구현하였다. 본 연구의 실험을 위해 영구자석형 동기 발전기(PMSG:Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator)를 이용하여 풍력발전 시스템 모델을 구현하고 이를 이용하여 원격감시 제어시스템의 성능을 검증하였다.

  • The self- and mutual- winding inductances can have an important influence on both the steady-state and transient dynamic performance of a machine. Especially, slotless topologics have inherently low self- and mutual-stator winding inductance. Thus, this paper describes an analytical model for predicting the winding inductance and results are compared to finite element analyses.

  • Proposed slotless PM machine is constructed without stator winding slots. Its stator magnetic material is in the form of a ring and winding have a toroidal configuration and its rotor consists of a 4-pole Halbach array or radially magnetized PM rotor. Thus, airgap flux density distribution and induced emf waveform are essentially sinusoidal. Open circuit magnetic fields and developed torque of each type are presented from the analytical method and finite element method.
