성취평가 시행에 따른 수행평가 내실화 방안 (Suggestions for Improvement of Performance Assessment according to Achievement Evaluation)

  • The purpose of this study was to search for the ideal role and performance assessment(PA) in the current school system of Korea, and then to propose some suggestions to improve PA, based on the previous research. The result of the study is presented below. The direction of PA application in school was made to follow the theoretical meaning of PA, to solve the problems related ti its adoption in school, and to help teachers educate students more effectively. The main goal of PA application in term of 'school education' is to help students learn more effectively. That is, the assessment is not only for the evaluation, but also for improving students' learning. PA can be used to assess students' strength and weakness in terms of their academic achievement of various fields of the subject. Also, PA can be used to assess students' academic achievement as an alternative method to the multiple-choice test. Finaly, the results of this study propose some suggestions about how to conduct PA in school to the stakeholders such as educational authorities, schools, teachers, students and parents.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest plans to improve the industrial high school through the inquiry of Competency-Based Education(CBE). The suggestions are as followings: (1) Selection and organization of the educational contents of industrial high school must be based on job analysis. (2) Instructional objectives must be defined as a performance objective and enabling objectives. (3) Instruction must be individualized in method, the instructional contents must be organized in the unit of module. (4) Evaluation system must be not knowledge based but performance-based. (5) Physical Environment of work shop must be organized based on facilities, equipments and machines abstracted by job analysis. (6) Competency-Based Teacher Education(CBTE) program is required to train competent teachers in practice.

  • 인터넷포털 사이트에서 제공되고 있는 지식검색 질문응답서비스의 성능을 평가하기 위하여, 이용량이 많은 상위 네 가지 사이트를 대상으로 질문응답 데이터를 체계적으로 표집하였다. 디지털 참고봉사의 평가 틀을 적용하여 질문의 수와 유형, 응답률, 적시성, 정확성, 만족도를 측정하여 분석함으로써 서비스 현황을 진단하고 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • Purpose: There are several KPI(key performance indicators) models: BSC(balanced scorecard), IPOO(Input-process-output-outcomes) indicators, QCDP(quality-cost-delivery-productivity) indicators. This paper analyze these models and gives some suggestions to help the effective usage of KPI. Methods: This paper reviews and summarize the criteria to evaluate the PI(performance indicators) through literature review. Evaluation and analysis on the PI factors of the KPI developing models is performed by the criteria. Results: Criteria to evaluate the PI, which can be used to evaluate the goodness of PI is suggested. This paper also proposes some suggestions for the KPI models and their factors for the effective development of PI in the organization. Conclusion: This research will help the managers to develop and select useful PI and KPI for their business and processes.

  • As structure and the waterproofing material are compressed through the backfilling process after the waterproofing material is installed on the underground structure at the actual site, there is a difference between the behavioral response force of the waterproofing material in the compressed state and the behavioral response force in the non-constrained state. In this regard, we will analyze the limitations of the current structural behavioral response evaluation and suggest an improvement plan so that the future test and evaluation environment can be evaluated under conditions similar to the field.

  • 본 연구는 교육현장에서 이루어지는 수행평가의 실태와 문제점을 분석하고 수행평가와 교수 학습과의 관계, 수행평가 중에서도 ICT를 활용한 수행평가 등을 살펴보았다. 이러한 고찰 후에 ICT 활용한 수학과 수행평가 유형을 제시함으로써 평가 항목 설정의 어려움, 평정의 객관성 또는 공정성의 문제, 그리고 시행의 번거로움, 소요되는 시간 등의 평가 상의 문제점, 교사의 수업부담 경감과 본시학습목표 달성 등의 해소와 접근을 시도하였다. 아울러 학교현장에서 수학교사들이 수학교육에 관한 인적 물적 환경 조성에 관심과 노력이 필요함을 제언하였다.

성과중심교육 측면에서 우리나라 의과대학 학생평가의 현실과 과제 (Current and Future Challenges of Student Assessment in Medical Education from an Outcome-based Education Perspective)

  • Most medical colleges in Korea have been shifting from traditional education to outcome-based education, which is the general trend in medical education. The purpose of this study was to make some suggestions in light of the reality and challenges of student assessment in medical education from the perspective of outcome- based education. First, those who are responsible for student assessment should be diversified to include faculty, residents, students, and evaluation committee members. They need separate roles in educational evaluation, so evaluation competencies are required for them. Second, various methods for evaluation and score interpretation can be used for effective evaluation. We can adopt diagnostic, formative, and summative evaluation functionally, and the norm-referenced, criterion-referenced, growth-referenced, and ability-referenced evaluation based on criteria for score interpretation. Finally, various evaluation domains and test forms can be administered together in the common lectures in the medical school. We can test not only knowledge but also skills and attitudes, with diverse test forms such as supply and performance types.

  • 우리나라에서 최초로 실행되는 한기대 IPP 제도는 실행과정에서 많은 어려움이 예상되며, 그 효과성 또한 아직 불확실하다. 따라서 한국형 IPP 제도의 실효성을 평가하고 프로그램 운영체계 및 과정에 대한 개선방안을 모색하기 위해 체계적인 성과평가모형의 개발이 절실하게 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 IPP 제도의 성과평가 방안을 Kirkpatrick의 4단계 평가모형에 기반하여 제시한다. 이를 위해 외국의 다양한 Co-op 평가사례를 분석하여 평가방법과 평가지표를 찾아내고, 이를 Kirkpatrick의 4단계(반응평가, 학습평가, 행동평가, 그리고 결과평가)에 매핑한다. 이러한 성과평가모형을 통해 IPP 프로그램의 성과와 문제점을 파악함으로써 고용노동부나 대학 내 학부 과 등 관련 이해관계자 집단들을 설득하고 지원을 얻는데 활용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 IPP 제도의 효과를 극대화시키는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

구조물 내진보강법에 따른 저층 건축물의 내진성능평가 (Seismic Performance Evaluation of the Low-Rise Buildings with Different Seismic Retrofit Procedures)

  • After an earthquake occurred in the Gyeongju, 2016, many low-story buildings have been questioned in terms of the seismic performance since mostly they have been exempted from the seismic design requirement since 1988. In this study, a 3-story moment resisting frame (MRF) building was analyzed and evaluated the seismic performance. Due to the insufficient seismic performance required for the seismic performance levels, three different seismic retrofit schemes were proposed and their seismic performances were re-evaluated. While steel brace and open shear wall retrofit systems mainly focused on the strength retrofit, the VES damper retrofit system is mainly to enhance the energy dissipation capacity of the system and resultes in the increased ductility. The original building and 3 retrofitted buildings were evaluated using the nonlinear static and nonlinear dynamic analyses and suggestions were proposed. Through the analysis of nonlinear time history and push-over using MIDAS/Gen program, damages of the building in terms of top story and average story drift and effect of reinforcement were analyzed.
