ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute) 300 34701, ITU-T(International Telecommunication Union) G.965 recommended PSTN, CONTROL, LINK CONTROL, BCC, PROTECTION protocols on V-Interfaces. But it is possible to occur misalignment between LE(Local Exchange) and AN(Access Network), especially in link identification procedure because there isn't any comment about V5.2 system management. In this paper we propose S/W guard timer to improve reliability in V5.2 link identification procedure in scope of Recommendation.

Government provides for special considerations to technology transfer and cooperative R&D between Government-Supported Research Institutes(GSRI) and Private sector. Nevertheless, the results of many cooperative R&D stagnates in the innovation. This paper examines the reasons for the current low level of the effectiveness of cooperative R&D between GSRIs and small & medium firms. Recommendation are made to enhance the effectiveness of cooperative R & D.

In this paper, we propose a new customer profile model based on customer behavior in Internet shopping mall. The proposed technique defines customer profile model based on customer behavior information such as click data, buy data, and interest categories. We also implement CBCPM(Customer Behavior-based Customer Profile Model) and perform extensive experiments. The experimental results show that CBCPM has higher precision, recall, and F1 than the existing customer profile model.

This paper is to illustrate the possibility to use organizational knowledge and data warehouse simultaenously for a decision maker. Organizational knowledge is produced for qualitative decision-making process and data warehouse is used for quantitative decision-making process. However, two things are currently implemented separately in many organizations although being needed for decision makers. This research shows a model for building integrated system and a prototyping system based on the model. And its effectiveness is discussed.

Standardized representations and data codes are crucial for the exchange of information between systems, organizations, and people in the telecommunications operations area. ITU-T M.1400 recommends a unified representation for the international network routes which includes such location data elements as Town A, Suffix Code which was designed for the representation of domestic network locations to meet the ITU-T recommendation. This paper suggests an expanded building ID code for the representation of the international network locations.

As the computer-based electronic processing of financial transactions become more and more popular in financial areas, the need for more efficient and secure infrastructure has been increased. This Paper addresses the current status and Policy issues in building such infrastructure for electronic financial transactions in Korea. We examine our financial computer networks, electronic payment and clearing systems, standardization, and related laws, comparing with those in United States, Japan, and European countries and suggest policy recommendation in each area.

This paper describes the design and implementation results of JPEG core, based on the ITU-T Recommendation T.81. We designed the RTL circuit in Verilog HDL, making reference to the JPEG program from the Independent JPEG Group. The circuit has been simulated with Verilog-XL, synthesized with Design Compiler and verified using Altera FPGA. Since the synthesized circuit includes a small number of gates, it is expected to be used as a core module in image processing SOC.

This paper describes the design of elliptic curve cryptographic (ECC) coprocessor over binary fields for the If card. This coprocessor is implemented by the shift-and-add algorithm for the field multiplication algorithm. And the modified almost inverse algorithm(MAIA) is selected for the inverse multiplication algorithm. These two algorithms is merged to minimize the hardware size. Scalar multiplication is performed by the binary Non Adjacent Format(NAF) method. The ECC we have implemented is defined over the field GF(2$^{163}$), which is a SEC-2 recommendation［7］..

This paper describes $\mu$-law PCM/ADPCM Code Conversion System. The system algorithm is computer-simulated, and with the result of simulation the system is designed by using the Am 2900 family's Bit-Slice Microprocessors which have a high-speed processing power. The ADPCM algorithm is based on Jayant's model and the converting algorithm between $\mu$-law PCM and linear PCM is developed according to the CCITT Recommendation G. 711.

In this paper, we intend to find user's TV program choosing pattern and, recommend programs that he/she wants. So we suggest item dependency map which express relation between chosen program. Using an algorithm that we suggest, we can recommend an program, which a user has not saw yet but maybe is likely to interested in. Item dependency map is used as patterns for association in hopfield network so we can extract users global program choosing pattern only using users partial information. Hopfield network can extract global information from sub-information. Our algorithm can predict user's inclination and recommend an user necessary information.
