Background: This paper describes the relationship and effect of health examination on personal medical cost by identifying the difference of the cost for medical care in physician visit between the population without and with health examination. Methods: After classifying into three cohorts in which, independent variables were designed according to the Andersen's behavioral model, the association of personal medical cost for medical care and prescription drugs which is dependent variable was analyzed by t-test and Mann-Whitney test for description and gamma regression model for inference. Results: In personal average medical cost, the population with health examination paid significantly more than without health examination, 11.6% more in cohort 2008, 26.6% more in cohort 2009, and 48.0% more in combined cohort. The odds ratio on medical expenditure of outpatients with health examination was 1.067, 1.126, 1.398 significantly in cohort 2008, 2009, and combined cohort respectively, comparing to the group without health examination. In independent variables, that is female, the elderly, never married, non-working, non-metropolitan, the higher family income, the smaller family size, people with disability, the people with chronic disease, and people with health examination have significantly being paid more tendency showing positive association with medical cost. Conclusion: This result showed that medical expenditure in physician visit has been increased after taking a health examination. Therefore reasonable limitation of getting preventive medical service is suggested to avoid medical shopping around and reduce being repeated health examination by unifying control to find out easily the clinical results from various medical facilities.

To enhance the reliability of ultrasonic testing system, MOST(Ministry of Science and Technology) bulletin 2004-13 was published in 2004.6 requiring performance demonstration in ultrasonic examination and MEST(Ministry of Education, Science and Technology) 2009-37 was published in 2009.9(formerly MOST bulletin 2004-13). In order to meet the MEST bulletin requirement and increase the reliability of ultrasonic testing, all the ultrasonic examination procedure and equipment should be performance demonstrated and qualified. In this paper, generic procedure for the ultrasonic examination of dissimilar metal welds are described and new technique are introduced.

Since the railroad accidents due to the human error occupy considerable proportion among the railroad accidents, it is necessary to study the propriety of the physical examination system for the railroad workers. Our government is promoting some systematic supplementation for railroad safety on the basis of the Railroad Safety Act. In this paper, we perform a comparative analysis of domestic and foreign physical examination systems for railroad workers. We also compare the physical examination system for public officials with that for railroad workers. Then we consult expert opinions of the Korean Society of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Through the comparative analysis, we provide useful information that is needed to amend the physical examination system.

Recently implant has become an important field in dental clinic. Radiographic examination of pre- and post- operation is essential for successful treatment. Clinicians should have knowledge about the purpose of the radiographic examination, suitable imaging modality for the cases, anatomic landmarks of tooth and jaw bone, advantage and limitation of panoramic radiographic examination for implant, principle and interpretation of cross-sectional imaging, bone mineral density, post-operative radiographic examination. This paper will be helpful to get above informations for dentists who want to do dental implant successfully.

웹 기반 학습 시스템에서 평가를 위한 문제출제 방식에 대해 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 원격 교육에서 출제되는 문제들은 고정 출제나 무작위 출제 방식 또는 난이도에 따른 자동 출제 방식을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업 기사 시험을 대비하는 학생들을 위한 웹 기반 학습 시스템을 설계함에 있어 기사 시험에 맞는 새로운 문제 출제 알고리즘을 제시한다. 일반적으로 기사 시험은 평균 점수에 맞는 난이도별 문제 출제와 함께 전체 학습 범위에서 골고루 시험 문제가 출제되어야 하는 특징이 있다. 따라서 제시된 알고리즘에서는 자동 문제 출제를 함에 있어 난이도뿐만이 아니라 전체 학습 범위에 대한 분포도 고려하여 문제를 골고루 출제한다. 이는 난이도에 의한 자동 출제 방식에 비해 기사 시험을 준비하는 학습자에게 보다 효과적인 학습 진단 방법을 제공할 수 있다.

Recently as the testing of fire detector used the testing device for fire detector, there are something the matter in the perception function loss of fire detector, structure and form of the testing device for fire detector. The problem at oxidation of emitting smoke ashes hazardous article part and so on that checking person absorbs be. In this paper the problem or the conventional the examination equipment of fire detectors is analysed and researched. To solve these problems after the theoretical study and design and paint drawing of equipment the prototype of composite examination equipment of fire detectors was made. After compared with the conventional, part that improve of composite examination equipment of fire detectors are verified through the examination. In the future it will be useful the operation state and correct operation time of the fire detectors are measured after the research about the quality of the material and transparency of bellows cover is done.

본 연구는 도형적 창의성을 요하는 전공분야의 대학생을 대상으로 제작된 창의력 검사지의 표준화의 준거를 제시하고자 하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 전국의 대학생을 학제별, 지역별, 학년별로 표집하여 방문 검사를 통하여 수집된 자료를 분석하여 표준화 준거를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 자료분석 절차로는 첫째, 문항의 양호 도를 밝히기 위하여 기초 통계 값, 문항-하위영역(요인)간 상관계수, 문항-전체검사간 상관계수를 측정하였고, 둘째, 척도의 양호 도를 밝히기 위하여 신뢰도 및 타당 도를 측정하였고, 셋째, 도구의 표준화를 자료를 통하여 분석하여 표준점수를 제시하였다. 양호도 분석 결과 본 검사지 구성의 3가지 요인(유창성, 융통성, 독창성)으로 도형적 창의력을 측정하기에 문제가 없으며, 표준화 분석에서 개인의 도형적 판단에 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

SA, TS, GA and ACS are four of the main algorithms for solving challenging problems of intelligent systems. In this paper we consider Examination Timetabling Problem that is a common problem for all universities and institutions of higher education. There are many methods to solve this problem, In this paper we use Simulated Annealing, Tabu Search, Genetic Algorithm and Ant Colony System in their basic frameworks for solving this problem and compare results of them with each other.

철도는 다른 수송수단에 비하여 많은 인원과 물류를 안전, 신속, 정확하게 운송할 수 있는 기간산업으로 매우 중요한 시설이다. 현재 철도시설을 담당하는 전문 인력의 수가 부족하여 철도신호기술사 확보가 시급히 요구되고 있다. 이에 철도신호기술사 고시를 준비하는 사람은 많은 반면, 접근방법을 몰라 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 본 논문은 철도신호기술사 고시를 소개하고 지난 15년간 기출제된 시험문제와 최근 5년간의 문제에 대한 출제경향 및 철도관련 교육기관의 교과목을 조사 분석하였다. 분석결과를 토대로 철도신호기술사 고시를 준비하는 수험생이 쉽게 자격취득 과정에 접근할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였으며, 또한 철도관련 교육기관의 교과목 중 철도신호기술사 자격취득을 위한 필수교과목을 선별 제시하였다.

This paper describes the Visual Tool for automatic ultrasonic examination that is under developing as a part of the project for development of automatic ultrasonic wave acquisition and analysis program. This tool that is supported by various image processing techniques will be adopted to detect the flaws in the component and piping welds in NPP. Visual Tool will enhance the integrity of nuclear power plant. The object of this paper is to address the Visual Tool which is developing for automatic ultrasonic inspection of welds in NPP.
