GZO film was prepared on p-type Si wafer and then annealed at various temperatures in an air conditions to research the bonding structures in accordance with the annealing processes. GZO film annealed in an atmosphere showed the various bonding structure depending on annealing temperatures and oxygen gas flow rate during the deposition. The difference of bonding structures of GZO films made by oxygen gas flows between 18 sccm and 22 sccm was so great. The bonding structures of GZO films made by oxygen gas flow of 18 sccm were showed the crystal structure, but that of 22 sccm were showed the amorphous structure in spite of after annealing processes. The bonding structure of GZO as oxide-semiconductor was observed the trend of becoming amorphous structures at the temperature of $200^{\circ}C$. Therefore, the characteristics of oxide semiconductor are needed to research the variation near the annealing at $200^{\circ}C$.

The chemical, electrical, and optical properties of ZnO and Al-doped ZnO films after high temperature annealing were studied. The resistivity increased significantly after annealing at $600^{\circ}C$ under $10^{-10}$ Torr atmosphere. The mechanism of the resistivity change was explored using photoemission spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectrometer. The results indicated that the amount of oxygen deficient region O-Zn bonds decreased and oxygen vacancy was decreased after the high temperature vacuum annealing. The increase in the resistivity of ZnO and Al-doped ZnO films was resulted from the decrease in carrier concentration due to a decrease in the amount of oxygen deficiency.

$Bi_{4}Ti_{3}O_{12}$ (BiT) thin films were grown on the Pt/Ti/$SiO_2$/si substrate using a metal organic decomposition (MOD) method. Effects of oxygen annealing on the structural properties and dielectric properties of the BiT thin films were investigated. The BiT films were well developed when rapid thermal annealed at $>500^{\circ}C$ in oxygen ambient. For the film annealed at $700^{\circ}C$, no crystalline phase was observed under oxygen free annealing atmosphere while its crystallinity was significantly enhanced as the oxygen pressure increased. The BiT film also exhibited a smooth surface with defect free grains. A high dielectric constant and a low dielectric loss were achieved satisfactory in the frequency range from 75 kHz to 1 MHz. Especially, the BiT film, annealed at $700^{\circ}C$ and 10 torr oxygen pressure, showed good dielectric properties: dielectric constant of 51 and dielectric loss of 0.2 % at 100 kHz. Its leakage current was also considerably improved, being as $0.62\;nA/cm^2$ at 1 V. Therefore, it is considered that the oxygen annealing has effects on an enhancement of crystallinity and dielectric properties of the BiT films.

Melt textured YBCO superconductors were fabricated by the top seeding method using Sml.8($Sm_{1.8}$$Ba_{2.4}$$Cu_{3.4}$$O_{7-Y}$) seed. We investigated the twin structures using the optical microscope, SEM and TEM. The twin structures formed during the tetragonal to orthorhombic transition which occurred at $450^{\circ}C$ in sample oxygen annealing. The twin structures were clearly observed by SEM due to the chemical etching effects. The lengths of twin structures were increased as the oxygenation heat treatment time increased from 1hr to 10hr. We investigated twin structure by TEM. The twin spaces were considered to be related to the oxygen contents. The results suggested an oxygen diffusion model for the formation of the twin lengths.
The influence of quenching temperature and annealing time on superconducting characteristics has been investigated for a $(Pb_{0.6}V_{0.4})Sr_2(Ca_{0.65}Er_{0.35})Cu_2O_z$ compound. From the resistivity measurements for samples annealed at $400^{\circ}C$ to $860^{\circ}C$ in oxygen and subsequently quenched, it is observed that $T_c$(zero) of the sample decreases with the increase of annealing temperature up to $600^{\circ}C$ and increases again beyond $700^{\circ}C$. Annealings of the sample at $860^{\circ}C$ show that $T_c$(zero) goes through a maximum of 62K with the increase of the annealing time. It is also found that $T_c$(zero) of the sample quenched from high temperature decreases when the sample is subjected to low temperature annealing below. $600^{\circ}C$ in oxygen. The experimental results indicate that the as-prepared samples contain excessive oxygen and removal of this excessive oxygen in as-prepared samples is a key factor in controlling the superconducting properties of the samples and are discussed in connection with thermal gravimetric measurements.

In this study, we investigated the properties of Indium Zinc Oxide (IZO) films prepared in facing targets sputtering (FTS) system at room temperature as function of oxygen contents. As as-deposited films were rapidly thermal annealing on air atmosphere of $400^{\circ}C$ for 30s. As a result, the transmittance of IZO films increased with increasing oxygen flow in the visible range. After rapidly thermal annealing to films, the optical properties of films improved than films deposited at R.T, but the electrical properties decreased. Before RTA treatment, the lowest resistivity IZO is $5.4\times10^{-4}[\Omega{\cdot}cm]$ at oxygen gas flow. But, after RTA treatment, IZO films have the value of lowest resistivity at the lower oxygen gas ratio in compare with before RTA treatment. The resistivity of IZO films is $7.29\times10^{-4}[\Omega{\cdot}cm]$ at pure argon atmosphere.
The dependence of compensation mechanism in $P^+$-InGaAs layer implanted with oxygen on the annealing temperatures was investigated. The oxygen implantation was performed for electrical isolation. The conductivity was controlled by damage related traps below $500^{\circ}C$. For the temperature of 500 to $600^{\circ}C$, oxygen began to show the chemical effect of compensating the acceptors due to activation and type conversion (plongrightarrown-type) occurred at $600^{\circ}C$. This indicates that the defects generated by the chemical activity of oxygen increased with increasing annealing temperature, where activation energy of 24.2 meV was obtained. It is attributed to the formation of native defects, such as In interstitials, acting as shallow donor in InGaAs. Above $600^{\circ}C$, the interstitial Be atoms become reactivated and the n-type conductivity decreases.
The optoelectrical characteristics of the ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) annealed in vacuum or oxygen condition from $200^{\circ}C$ to $600^{\circ}C$ were examined. Increased on-off ratio (or, the ratio of photocurrent to dark current) was observed when they were annealed at $300^{\circ}C$, $400^{\circ}C$ and $500^{\circ}C$ with the values enhanced about 4 orders compared to the as-prepared ZnO NPs in both annealing conditions, while the maximum efficiency was shown at the annealing temperature of $600^{\circ}C$ for the ZnO NPs annealed in vacuum with the value of 29.8 mA/W and at the temperature of $500^{\circ}C$ for those annealed in oxygen condition with the value of 40.3 mA/W. Photoresponse behavior of the ZnO NPs annealed in oxygen showed the sharp increase right after the ir exposure to the light followed by the slow decay and saturation during steady illumination, differing from the ZnO NPs annealed in vacuum which only exhibited the gradual increase. This difference occurred due to the curing effect of the oxygen vacancies. SEM images indicated no change in their morphologies with annealing, indicating the change in their internal structures by annealing, and most remarkably at $600^{\circ}C$. As for their photoluminescence(PL) spectra, the decrease of the deep-level(DL) emission was observed when they were annealed in oxygen at $400^{\circ}C$, and not at $200^{\circ}C$ and $600^{\circ}C$.

Thin-film transistors(TFTs) with silicon-zinc-tin-oxide(SiZnSnO, SZTO) channel layer are fabricated by rf sputtering method. Electrical properties were changed by different annealing treatment of dry annealing and wet annealing. This procedure improves electrical property especially, stability of oxide TFT. Improved electrical properties are ascribed to desorption of the negatively charged oxygen species from the surfaces by annealing treatment. The threshold voltage ($V_{th}$) shifted toward positive as increasing Si contents in SZTO system. Because the Si has a lower standard electrode potential (SEP) than that that of Sn, Zn, resulting in the degeneration of the oxygen vacancy ($V_O$). As a result, the Si acts as carrier suppressor and oxygen binder in the SZTO as well as a $V_{th}$ controller, resulting in the enhancement of stability of TFTs.

The Sr$\_$0.7/Bi$\_$2.6/Ta$_2$O$\_$9/(SBT) thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode(Pt/TiO$_2$/SiO$_2$/Si) using RF magnetron sputtering method. The structural and electrical properties of SBT capacitors were influenced with annealing atmosphere. In the XRD pattern, the SBT thin films in all annealed atmosphere had (105) orientation. In the SEM images, Bi-layered perovskite phase was crystallized in all annealing atmosphere and grain largely grew in oxygen annealing atmosphere. The maximum remnant polarization and the coercive electric field in oxygen annealing atmosphere are 12.40[${\mu}$C/cm$^2$] and 30[kV/cm] respectively. The dielectric constant and leakage current density of capacitors annealed oxygen atmosphere are 340 and 2.13${\times}$10$\^$-9/ [A/cm$^2$] respectively. The fatigue characteristics of SBT capacitors did not change up to 10$\^$10/ switching cycles.
