정보기술구조유형이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 - 조직구조와 통제시스템의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (Influences of Information Technology Structure Taxonomy on Business Performance - Moderating Effect of Organization Structure and Control System -)

  • While the value of information technology has long been a hot issue, few solid results have been found as of yet. It is partly due to methodological factors and model underspecifcation. This study empirically develops a ITS(information technology structure) taxonomy and investigates the relationships between ITS taxonomy and business performance in the Korean firms. Among factors that impact business performance, organization structure and control system are selected and they are hypothesized to moderate-the relationships between ITS taxonomy and business performance. By surveying 91 manufacturing firms and applying hierarchical cluster analysis, four ITS are identified : centralized, decentralized, centralized cooperative, decentralized cooperative. ANOVA, correlation analysis and crosstable analysis say the presence of moderating effect of organization structure and control system. Cooperative ITS is best in business performance. Centralized ITS is related to functional organizational form. Decentralized ITS is related to product organizational form with decentralized decision making, Centralized cooperative ITS is related to matrix organizational form. Decentralized cooperative ITS is related to matrix organizational form with high integration. These findings have implications for the opportunities and challenges to match information technology with organization structure and control system.

  • 본 연구는 외식산업 경영 관리자의 리더십과 종사원의 임파워먼트, 그리고 조직유효성 간의 영향 관계를 파악하여 외식산업의 인적자원 관리의 효율성을 제고하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌적 연구와 구조모형분석을 이용한 실증적 연구를 함께 실시하였으며, 분석결과를 바탕으로 외식산업의 인적자원관리 방안을 제시하였다.

  • The past research have suggested that the Inter-Organizational E-Commerce based on the Inter-Organizational Systems(IOSs) has direct impact on the Inter-Organizational Relationships(IORs) in general. Considering the importance of this issue, however, few empirical research have been conducted. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of the level of Inter-Organizational E-Commerce on the performance of IORs in particular. Reviewing the literature, we suggested a research model and developed ten hypotheses to be tested. We conducted a survey and collected data from 125 companies which were using. EDI systems. The data were analyzed using LISREL 8.30. The major findings are: (1) The volume of E-Commerce has a positive impact on the commitment of trading partners. (2) High quality of information sharing and high degree of standardization improve the trust and the commitment between trading parties. (3) The trust and the commitment are critical precedent variables of cooperation. (4) The more partners cooperate each other, the more transaction cost will be reduced and as a result, the more financial performance will improve. A discussion on the result of the hypotheses test is followed by a discussion on the academic and practical implications of this study.

Relation of Compassionate Competence to Burnout, Job Stress, Turnover Intention, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment for Oncology Nurses in Korea

  • Background: Nursing focuses on the development of an empathic relationship between the nurse and the patients. Compassionate competence, in particular, is a very important trait for oncology nurses. The current study sought to determine the degree of compassionate competence in oncology nurses, as well as to determine the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in oncology nurses. Materials and Methods: A descriptive correlational study evaluating the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in 419 oncology nurses was conducted between January 30 and February 20, 2015. Results: The average score of compassionate competence for oncology nurses in the current study was higher than for clinical nurses. Conclusions: The correlational analysis between compassionate competence and organizational commitment, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, and degree of job satisfaction revealed a high correlation between compassionate competence and positive job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conclusions: Compassionate competence was higher in oncology nurses than in nurses investigated in previous studies and positively correlated with work experience. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment in nurses may be improved through compassionate competence enhancement programs that employ a variety of experiences.

유아교육기관 시설장의 변혁적리더쉽과 거래적리더쉽, 교사의 주관적 삶의 질 및 조직헌신 간의 관계 (The Relationships among Principal's Transformational and Transactional Leadership, Subjective Quality of Life of Teacher, and Organizational Commitment of Teacher in Kindergarten and Day Care Center)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among principal's transformational and transactional leadership, subjective quality of life of teacher, and organizational commitment of teacher in kindergarten and day care center based on the survey data from 203 teachers working in kindergarten and day care center in Kyoungbuk province. The collected data were analyzed by Simple Regression, Multiple Regression in SPSS Win program(15.0 version). The main results of this study were as follows. First, principal's transformational and transactional leadership each exerted positive effects on teacher's subjective quality of life and organizational commitment. Second, teacher's subjective quality of life had a positive influence on organizational commitment. Finally, each effect of principal's transformational and transactional leadership on teacher's organizational commitment was mediated by teacher's subjective quality of life.

재활의료서비스 전문성을 위한 물리치료의 직무특성과 임파워먼트 및 조직몰입 간의 관계 (The Relationships between Job Characteristics and Empowerment, Organizational Commitment of Physical Therapist to Professionalism of Rehabilitation Service)

  • Purpose : This study purposes to suggest some basic data for the efficiency of a hospital management by drawing out the efficient ways to manage manpower to professionalism of rehabilitation service. Methods : The study used the questionnaire written by respondents themselves, and conducted the regression analysis on the relationships among the job characteristics, the empowerment and organizational commitment. Rusults : Among job characteristics, the wage was the influential factor on the empowerment(psychological, structural), and the specialty physical therapist license was the factor affecting on the psychological empowerment. Among the psychological empowerment factors, the higher meaning of his/her existence, the lower self-decision level, the higher structural empowerment are, the higher organizational commitment was. Conclusion : There were not identified any significant job characteristics influencing on the organizational commitment. Among the structural empowerment factors, the apply of job performance was the largest factor affecting on the organizational commitment.

병원간호사의 전문직업성, 직무몰입, 조직몰입과 이직의도와의 관계 (The Relationships between Professionalism, Job Involvement, Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between professionalism, job involvement, organizational commitment and turnover intention among clinical nurses. Methods: The data were collected using a questionnaire from 1,419 nurses who were working in 35 different general hospitals in Korea. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and $Scheff{\grave{e}}$ test with SAS program were used. Results: The means of professionalism, job involvement, organizational commitment, turnover intention were 80.90 (min25~max125), 22.22 (min7~max35), 48.63 (min15~max75), and 11.47(min4~max20) respectively. There were statistically significant correlations between professionalism, job involvement, organizational commitment and turnover intention. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop a program for nurses to improve the levels of professionalism, job involvement, and organizational commitment, which would result in reducing turnover rates of clinical nurses.

윤리적 리더십이 조직동일시와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Ethical Leadership on Organizational Identification and Organizational Commitment)

  • The paper examines how ethical leadership and organizational identification contributed to explaining organizational commitment. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were collected from 256 individuals in employees working in small and medium-sized firms at Jinju, Changwon, Gimhae City to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. All data collected from the survey were analyzed using with SPSS 18.0. This study reports findings as follows: first, the relationship between the ethical leadership and the organizational identification is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the organizational identification and the organizational commitment. Third, the relationship between the ethical leadership and the organizational commitment is positively related. Finally, the organizational identification played as a partial mediator on the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational commitment. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

사회복지조직구성원들의 근무환경에서 개인-직무부합이 조직일탈행동에 미치는 영향 - 직무만족과 조직몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (The Influence of Person-Job Fit on Organizational Deviance in Social Welfare Organization Members' Work Settings -Focus on Mediating Effects of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 개인-직무부합이 조직일탈행동에 영향을 미치는 과정과 이러한 과정에서 직무만족과 조직몰입(정서몰입과 근속몰입)의 매개효과를 규명하는 데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 사회복지조직에 재직하고 있는 일반직원 533명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 개인-직무부합은 직무만족, 정서몰입, 근속몰입에 정적 영향을 직접 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 직무만족도 정서몰입과 근속몰입에 정적 영향을 직접 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 직무만족과 정서몰입은 조직일탈행동에 부적영향을 직접 주며, 이들 중 조직일탈행동에 미치는 영향은 직무만족이 상대적으로 좀 더 강한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 개인-직무부합이 정서몰입과 근속몰입에 미치는 과정에서 직무만족은 부분매개 역할을 하였고, 직무만족이 조직일탈행동에 미치는 과정에서 정서몰입은 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 즉, 개인-직무부합은 직무만족과 정서몰입을 통해 조직일탈행동에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로 이 연구에서의 결과를 토대로 연구의 시사점과 추후 연구과제에 대해 논의하였다.

수술실의 간호조직특성, 조직문화 유형 및 팀 효과성과의 관계 (A Study on the Relationships among Nursing Organizational Characteristics, Types of Nursing Organizational Culture and Team Effectiveness at Operating Rooms)

  • Purpose: This study was a literary investigation in the development of an effective team-raised and cultural nursing organization targeting operating room nurses. This was done by grasping organizational features, different types of nursing organizational culture and team effectiveness, and by analyzing the relationships among variables. Method: The participators were 373 nurses. The data was collected between March 10th and April 28th, 2004. SPSS Win 11.0 program was used for data analysis. Results: Results of this study were as follows: A nursing organization at operating rooms was found to have an organizational culture with the characteristic of a centralized power and hierarchy-oriented organizational culture. With respect to a relationship between operating room organizational characteristics and the types of nursing organizational culture, there was a significant correlation in relationship-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture. In the relation between the types of operating room organizational culture and team-effectiveness, it showed a significant correlation in team-devotion, peer-groupsatisfactional perception of a team's outcome in decreasing order. Conclusion: The organizational characteristic at operating rooms was power centralization and the culture type was hierarchy-oriented. These are factors that have a negative effect on a team-effectiveness-affecting relationship-oriented culture, innovation-oriented culture and work-oriented culture.
