  • We prove some characterization of rings with chain conditions in terms of fuzzy quotient rings and fuzzy ideals. We also show that a ring R is left Artinian if and only of the set of values of every fuzzy ideal on R is upper well-ordered.

  • In this paper, we define the weak dimension and the chain-weak dimension of an ordered set by using weak orders and chain-weak orders, respectively, as realizers. First, we prove that if P is not a weak order, then the weak dimension of P is the same as the dimension of P. Next, we determine the chain-weak dimension of the product of k-element chains. Finally, we prove some properties of chain-weak dimension which hold for dimension.

  • In modern times, coupled fixed point theorems have been rigorously studied by many researchers in the milieu of partially ordered G-metric spaces using different contractive conditions. In this note, some coupled fixed point theorems using mixed monotone property in partially ordered G-metric spaces are obtained. Furthermore some theorems by omitting the completeness on the space and continuity conditions on function, are obtained. Our results partially generalize some existing results in the present literature. To exemplify our results and to distinguish them from the existing ones, we equip the article with suitable examples.

  • We characterize a fuzzy partial order relation using its level set, find sufficient conditions for the image of a fuzzy partial order relation to be a fuzzy partial order relation, and find sufficient conditions for the inverse image of a fuzzy partial order relation to be a fuzzy partial order relation. Also we define a fuzzy lattice as fuzzy relations, characterize a fuzzy lattice using its level set, show that a fuzzy totally ordered set is a distributive fuzzy lattice, and show that the direct product of two fuzzy lattices is a fuzzy lattice.

  • Alexandrov topologies are the topologies induced by relations. This paper addresses the properties of Alexandrov topologies as the extensions of strong topologies and strong cotopologies in complete residuated lattices. With the concepts of Zhang's completeness, the notions are discussed as extensions of interior and closure operators in a sense as Pawlak's the rough set theory. It is shown that interior operators are meet preserving maps and closure operators are join preserving maps in the perspective of Zhang's definition.

  • The fixed point index plays an important role in solving the positive solutions of nonlinear equations in ordered Banach spaces ([7], [10], [11], [14], [15]). Many authors have studied the existence problems of positive solutions of nonlinear equations for nonlinear mappings ([1]-[5], [7], [9], [10], [14], [15]).

  • Sequential pattern discovery is one of main interests in web usage mining. the technique of sequential pattern discovery attempts to find inter-session patterns such that the presence of a set of items is followed by another item in a time-ordered set of server sessions. In this paper, a tree-based sequential pattern finding method is proposed in order to discover navigation patterns in server sessions. At each learning process, the suggested method learns about the navigation patterns per server session and summarized into the modified Rymon's tree.

  • We continue the investigations in [6] extending the Bruhat order on n × n alternating sign matrices to our more general setting. We show that the resulting partially ordered set is a graded lattice with a well-define rank function. Many illustrative examples are given.
