In this note we obtain a unique continuation result for the differential inequality ${\mid}\bar{\partial}u{\mid}{\leq}{\mid}Vu{\mid}$, where $\bar{\partial}=(i{\partial}_y+{\partial}_x)/2$ denotes the Cauchy-Riemann operator and V (x, y) is a function in $L^2(\mathbb{R}^2)$.

We prove a lower bound for the first eigenvalue of the Dirac operator on a compact Riemannian spin manifold depending on the scalar curvature as well as a chosen Codazzi tensor. The inequality generalizes the classical estimate from [2].

In this paper we study bounded and compact weighted composition operator, induced by a fixed analytic function and an analytic self-map of the open unit disk, from Bergman space into weighted Bloch space. As a corollary, obtain the characterization of composition operator from Bergman space into weighted Bloch space.

In this paper we consider Toeplitz operators on the pluriharmonic Dirichlet space of the unit ball in the n-dimensional complex space. We then characterize Fredholm Toeplitz operators and describe the essential spectrum of a Toeplitz operator as a consequence.

We give a characterization of regular operators that allows us to prove that a bounded operator acting between Banach spaces is almost regular if and only if it is regular, solving an open problem in [5]. As an application, we show that some operators in the closure of the set of all regular operators are regular.

The fundamental gap between the lowest two Dirich-let eigenvalues for a Schr dinger operator HR={{{{ { { d}^{2 } } over { { dx}^{2 } } }}}}+V(x) on L({{{{ LEFT | -R,R RIGHT | }}}}) is compared with the gap for a same operator Hs with a different domain {{{{ LEFT [ -S,S RIGHT ] }}}} and the difference is exponentially small when the potential has a large barrier.
