In recent years, we recognize a new paradigm in the development process:From object oriented development, to the development process which has focused on the use of standard components. In recent years a lot of research related to the component-based development has been done, especially in business domain. but still there are many open and unresolved problems in this area. such as established development process for a distributed environment, formal process, infrastructure for COTS, development and management tool considering maintenance to guarantee a proper treatment of components. It also required a service and an application integration for component. In this paper, we propose cooperative information systems (CIS) that supports component based development. It must address for component based systems to achieve their full potential. We identify a set of CIS organized 3-tier which is a presentation layer, business logic layer and data control layer. We also discuss the specific roles and activities for the layers. we also define the behavior and managed information for business logic layer as core level. As an illustration of the CIS, we present a successful considerations which is widely helpful to user when they make decision in component development and assemble. Also, we expect to component reusability and efficiency in business domain.
Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the profitability of four selective mechanization systems in rice cultivation. Methods: Field experiments were conducted in the farmers' field during the wet season (June to November) of 2015 in Bangladesh. Mechanization systems were applied to evaluate four different selective levels (treatment) in eleven consequent operations. Seedlings were raised in a traditional seedbed and trays for manual and mechanical transplanting, respectively. Land preparation, irrigation, fertilizer, pesticide, carrying, and threshing and cleaning operations were performed using the same method in all the experimental plots. The mechanical options in the transplanting, weeding, and harvesting operations were changed. The mechanization systems were $S_1$ = hand transplanting + hand weeding + harvesting by sickle, $S_2$ = mechanical transplanting + Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) weeder + reaper, $S_3$ = mechanical transplanting + BRRI power weeder + reaper, and $S_4$ = mechanical transplanting + herbicide + reaper. This experiment was performed in a randomized complete block design with four replications. Power tiller, rice transplanter, BRRI weeder, BRRI power weeder, self-propelled reaper, BRRI open drum thresher, and BRRI winnower were used in the respective operations. Accordingly, the techno-economic performances of the different technologies were calculated and compared with those of the traditional system. Results: The mechanically transplanted plot produced 6-10% more yield than the hand transplanted plot because of the use of tender-aged seedlings. Mechanical transplanting reduced 61% labor and 18% cost compared to manual transplanting. The BRRI weeder, BRRI power weeder, and herbicide application reduced 74, 91, and 98% labor, respectively. The latter also saved 72, 63, and 82% cost, respectively, compared to hand weeding. Herbicide application reduced the substantial amount of labor and cost in the weeding operation. Mechanical harvesting also saved 96% labor and 72% cost compared to the traditional method of harvesting using sickle. Selective mechanization saved 15-17% input cost compared to the traditional method of rice cultivation. Conclusions: Mechanical transplanting with the safe use of herbicide and harvesting by reaper is the most cost- and labor-saving operation. The method might be the recommended set of selective mechanization for enhancing productivity.

There are various high-performance algorithms in the area of the existing VDSs (vehicle detection systems). However, they requires a large amount of computational time-complexity and their systems generally are very expensive and consumes high-power. This paper proposes real-time traffic information detection algorithm that can be applied to low-cost, low-power, and open development platform such as Android. This algorithm uses a vehicle's sub-shadow to set ROI(region of interest) and to count vehicles using a location of the sub-shadow and the vehicle. The proposed algorithm is able to count the vehicles per each roads and each directions separately. The experiment result show that the detection rate for going-up vehicles is 94.1% and that for going-down vehicles is 97.1%. These results are close to or surpasses 95%, the detection rate of commercial loop detectors.
Software today has become an inseparable part of our life. In order to achieve the ever demanding needs of customers, it has to rapidly evolve and include a number of changes. In this paper, our aim is to study the relationship of object oriented metrics with change proneness attribute of a class. Prediction models based on this study can help us in identifying change prone classes of a software. We can then focus our efforts on these change prone classes during testing to yield a better quality software. Previously, researchers have used statistical methods for predicting change prone classes. But machine learning methods are rarely used for identification of change prone classes. In our study, we evaluate and compare the performances of ten machine learning methods with the statistical method. This evaluation is based on two open source software systems developed in Java language. We also validated the developed prediction models using other software data set in the same domain (3D modelling). The performance of the predicted models was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic analysis. The results indicate that the machine learning methods are at par with the statistical method for prediction of change prone classes. Another analysis showed that the models constructed for a software can also be used to predict change prone nature of classes of another software in the same domain. This study would help developers in performing effective regression testing at low cost and effort. It will also help the developers to design an effective model that results in less change prone classes, hence better maintenance.
Under the hostile influence of the extreme space environmental conditions due to the deep space and direct solar flux, the thermal control in space applications is especially of major importance. There are tight temperature range restrictions for electro-optical elements while on the other hand there are low power consumption requirements due to the limited energy sources on the spacecraft. So, we usually have strong requirement of thermal and power control module in space applications. In this paper, the design concept of a thermal and power control module in the MSC(Multi-Spectral Camera) system which will be a payload on KOMPSATII is described in terms of H/W & S/W. This thermal and power control module, called THTM(Thermal and Telemetry Module) in MSC, resides inside the PMU(Payload Management Unit) which is responsible for the proper management of the MSC payload for controlling and monitoring the temperature insides the EOS(Electro-Optic System) and gathering all the analog telemetry from all the MSC sub-units, etc. Particularly, the designed heater controller has the special mode of "duty cycle" in addition to normal closed loop control mode as usual. THTM controls heaters in open loop according to on/off set time designed through analysis in duty cycle mode in case of all thermistor failure whereas it controls heaters by comparing the thermistor value to temperature based on closed loop in normal mode. And a designed THTM provides a checking and protection method against the failure in thermal control command using the test pulse in command itself.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual condition of the already established rural theme park, draw the weak and strong points, and come up with an efficient performance plan for Changwon Persimmon Theme Park through the benchmarking of the best overseas case. According to the analysis, it is necessary to introduce a facility and a program for family customers as a plan for promoting Changwon Persimmon Theme Park. It is required to secure safety through public operation and management, improve scalability of the facility through the establishment of multi-functional complex facility, and come up with a plan for operating a special program associated with local resources. Therefore, this study drew three activation factors: the establishment of operation and management system, the development of operation contents by facility, and the establishment of operation in each area. First, to establish the operation and management system, it is necessary to classify the organization of the theme park into the operation business area and into operation & management area by job function. Secondly, it is necessary to establish a special program in consideration of space and facility, suggest a differentiated plan for operation contents, and create a facility operation plan and program for Changwon Persimmon Theme Park. Lastly, to operate and manage Changwon Persimmon Theme Park smoothly, it is necessary to set the theme park space as open collaboration space which the local residents can share and participate in by avoiding the conventional administration-based business performance and operation. This study suggested the plan for establishing an operation and management system for Changwon Persimmon Theme Park and its operation, the establishment of a special program, a business performance strategy, and the use of internal and external spaces of the theme park.
Purpose: This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the agenda-setting process and the formation process of school-based mental health policies by applying a policy stream model. Methods: For this purpose, Kingdon's policy stream model was used as the analytical framework. Results: First, when establishing a school-based mental health policy, the agenda was set going through unpredictable and nonlinear changes. Second, for the school-based mental health policy to be selected onto the agenda and to be developed and implemented as an actual policy, the role of policy makers was considered most important in the process. Third, the policy window for school-based mental health policy was closed around the year 2013. Finally, an analysis of the school-based mental health policy stream identified two key features. One is that the school-based mental health policy first emerged when school violence prevention policy expanded its scope into relevant neighboring policies. The other is that the school-based mental health policy has taken shape through a linear decision-making process (being put on the government's agenda, searching for an alternative, selection, and implementation) during the policy implementation period after it has been selected as an alternative policy. Conclusion: Conclusions can be summed up as follows. The school-based mental health policy needs continuous development and improvement in case the window for the policy may open in the coming future. The government's support is needed to draw policy makers' interest and participation who play the biggest role in establishing policies.

On the other hand, the fiber orientation at the surface and middle layer of the sheet controls the bending stiffness of paperboard. Therefore, a reliable measurement of paper surface fiber orientation gives us a magnificent tool to investigate and predict paper curling and cockling tendency, and provides the necessary information to fine-tune the manufacturing process for optimum quality. Many papers, especially heavily calendered and coated grades, do resist liquid and gas penetration very much, being beyond the measurement range of the traditional instruments or resulting inconveniently long measuring time per sample. The increased surface hardness and use of filler minerals and mechanical pulp make a reliable, non-leaking sample contact to the measurement head a challenge of its own. Paper surface coating causes, as expected, a layer which has completely different permeability characteristics compared to the other layers of the sheet. The latest developments in sensor technologies have made it possible to reliably measure gas flow n well controlled conditions, allowing us to investigate the gas penetration of open structures, such as cigarette paper, tissue or sack paper, and in the low permeability range analyze even fully greaseproof papers, silicon papers, heavily coated papers and boards or even detect defects in barrier coatings! Even nitrogen or helium may be used as the gas, giving us completely new possibilities to rank the products or to find correlation to critical process or converting parameters. All the modern paper machines include many on-line measuring instruments which are used to give the necessary information for automatic process control systems. Hence, the reliability of this information obtained from different sensors is vital for good optimizing and process stability. If any of these on-line sensors do not operate perfectly as planned (having even small measurement error or malfunction), the process control will set the machine to operate away from the optimum, resulting loss of profit or eventual problems in quality or runnability. To assure optimum operation of the paper machines, a novel quality assurance policy for the on-line measurements has been developed, including control procedures utilizing traceable, accredited standards for the best reliability and performance.

Backgrounds: Occupations are grouped on the basis of similarity in tasks and duties performed. Standard occupational classification (SOC) is a tool for organizing all professions into a clearly defined set of groups according to the tasks and duties undertaken in the respective jobs. Objectives: The major objective of this study is to comprehensively review how a SOC system is used in occupational and safety fields such as surveillance, exposure monitoring, occupational epidemiological study, management of carcinogens and analysis of occupational accidents. Methods: We summarized the cases, policies and regulations used in SOC systems in advanced countries and as they appear in articles Results: We found that SOC systems have been widely used in various areas of occupational safety and health in the US, the UK, Finland, and the EU. In general, it is highly common to use SOC in the analysis of occupational accidents and diseases and to identify factors causing those accidents. The SOC system is also used not only for surveillance of exposure to hazardous agents and occupational health, but to manage carcinogens. In order to adjust the effects of a particular job, SOC is used in the general population health area. The Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) has never used or introduced an SOC system. There have been no cases of the application of a SOC system to either the occupational safety and health field or to health surveillance for the general population in Korea. Conclusions: We suggested a need to introduce an SOC system in several occupational safety and health activities, such as work environment measurement, analysis of occupational accidents, specific physical examination and surveillance systems, etc.

This thesis develops a fuzzy-PID control algorithm for control the filament winding tension. It is developed by applying classical PID control technique to a fuzzy logic controller. It is composed of a fuzzy-PI controller and a fuzzy-D controller. The fuzzy-PI controller uses error and integrated error as inputs, and the fuzzy-D controller uses derivative of error as input. The fuzzy-PI controller uses Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy inference system, and the fuzzy-D controller uses Mamdani fuzzy inference system. The fuzzy rule base for the fuzzy-PI controller is designed using 19 rules, and the fuzzy rule base for the fuzzy-D controller is designed using 5 rules. A test-bed is set-up for verifying the effectiveness of the developing control algorithm in control the filament winding tension. It is composed of a mandrel, a carriage, a force sensor, a driving roller, nip rollers, a creel, and a real-time control system. Nip rollers apply a vertical force to a filament, and the driving roller drives it. The real-time control system is developed by using MATLAB/xPC Target. First, experiments for showing the inherent problems of an open-loop control scheme in a filament winding are performed. Then, experiments for showing the robustness of the developing fuzzy-PID control algorithm are performed under various working conditions occurring in a filament winding such as mandrel rotating speed change, carriage traversing, spool radius change, and reference input change.
