Circuit partitioning to enhance the fault coverage for combinational logic (조합논리회로의 고장 검출율 개선을 위한 회로분할기법)

  • Partitioning problem of large combinational logic has been studied in real world. Most of logic include undectable faults from the structure of it's redundant, fan-out-reconvergent, and symetrical feature. BPT algorithm is proposed to enhance the fault voverage for combinational logic partitioning. This algorithm partitions the logic by cut the lines related to undetectable structure when seperating. Controllability and observability are considered in the process of partitioning. This algorithm is evaluated effective by testing ISCAS85 circuits.

  • In this paper, we deal with the problem of practical observer design and the practical stabilization for a class of perturbed impulsive systems. We show that, under the classical conditions of uniform complete controllability and uniform complete observability of the nominal system without impulsive effects, it is possible to design an observer controller for a class of perturbed linear impulsive system when the origin is not an equilibrium point.

  • This paper suggests Kalman filter formulation using by precision GINS output angle for SDINS initial transfer alignment of missile. The Kalman filter model was derived from quaternion parameters and the transfer alignment system by angle matching method satisfies azimuth observability in horizontal angular motion. The estimated error of SDINS attitude settles to less 3mrad(1.sigma.) in 200 seconds at proper sea state.

  • In this paper, we design a stabilizing controller with disturbance rejection properties for multirate sampled-data systems which have periodic output measurement scheme. We assume that the plant is open-loop unstable and the disturbance consists of a sum of finite number of sine waves with different frequencies. A sufficient condition for maintaining observability in multirate sampled-data systems is derived. The proposed controller has an IMC structure and can be decomposed into the filtered-disturbance estimator and the inverse of the fast uniform sampled model of the pre-stabilized plant. An example is presented for illustrations.

Target tracking accuracy and performance bound

  • This paper proposes a simple method to measure system's performance in target tracking problems. Essentially employing the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) on trakcing accuracy, an algorithm of predicting system's performance under various scenarios is developed. The input data is a collection of measurements over time fromsensors embedded in gaussian noise. The target of interest may not maneuver over the processing time interval while the own ship observing platform may maneuver in an arbitrary fashion. Th eproposed approach is demonstrated and discussed through simulation results.

  • Modal participation factor(MPF) is essential to analyze structural response under earthquake load. MPF of real structure differs from that of analytic mathematical model due to the error induced from analytical assumption and construction. In this study, a identification method is proposed to calculate the MPF of real structure based on H∞ optimal model reduction. The MPF is obtained from the relationship between observability, controllability matrix of realized from S.I. and typical 2-degree state space model. The proposed method is verified thorough examples.

  • This paper considers a stochastic discrete algebraic Riccati equation, which is a generalized version of the well-known standard discrete algebraic Riccati equation, and has additional linear terms. Under controllability, observability and the assumption that the additional terms are not too large, the existence of a positive definite solution is guaranteed. It is shown that it arises in optimal control of a linear discrete-time system with multiplicative White noise and quadratic cost. A numerical example is given.

  • Perspective dynamical systems arise in machine vision, in which only perspective observation is available, and the essential problem is to estimate the state and /or unknown parameters for a moving rigid body based on the observed information. This paper proposes and studies a Luenberger-type observer for perspective tim e-varying linear systems. In particular, assuming a given perspective time-varying linear system to be Lyapunov stable and to satisfy some sort of observability condition, it is shown that the estimation error converges exponentially to zero. Finally, a simple numerical exam pie is presented to illustrate the result obtained.

  • This paper proposes the model order reduction with pass band error reduction in the frequency domain of discrete time linear systems. The algorithm is the new method of reduced order model which reduces passband error by changing controllability and observability gramian used with weighted functions. A numerical example shows that this algorithm has lower passband error than balanced w&l and weighted function characteristics in frequency domain.
