  • Fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy sets (FNIFSs), each of which is characterized by a membership function and a non-membership function whose values are trigonometric fuzzy number rather than exact numbers, are a very useful means to describe the decision information in the process of decision making. Wang [10] developed some arithmetic aggregation operators, such as the fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy weighted averaging (FIFWA) operator, the fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (FIFOWA) operator and the fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid aggregation (FIFHA) operator. In this paper, based on the FIFHA operator and the FIFWA operator, we investigate the group decision making problems in which all the information provided by the decision-makers is presented as fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrices where each of the elements is characterized by fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, and the information about attribute weights is partially known. An example is used to illustrate the applicability of the proposed approach.

  • In this paper, we obtain some new inequalities for the Berezin number of operators on reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces by using the Hölder-McCarthy operator inequality. Also, we give refine generalized inequalities involving powers of the Berezin number for sums and products of operators on the reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces.

  • The Berezin symbol à of an operator A on the reproducing kernel Hilbert space 𝓗 (Ω) over some set Ω with the reproducing kernel kλ is defined by $${\tilde{A}}(\lambda)=\,\;{\lambda}{\in}{\Omega}$$. The Berezin number of an operator A is defined by $$ber(A):=\sup_{{\lambda}{\in}{\Omega}}{\mid}{\tilde{A}}({\lambda}){\mid}$$. We study some problems of operator theory by using this bounded function Ã, including estimates for Berezin numbers of some operators, including truncated Toeplitz operators. We also prove an operator analog of some Young inequality and use it in proving of some inequalities for Berezin number of operators including the inequality ber (AB) ≤ ber (A) ber (B), for some operators A and B on 𝓗 (Ω). Moreover, we give in terms of the Berezin number a necessary condition for hyponormality of some operators.

  • Let A be an m × n matrix over nonnegative integers. The isolation number of A is the maximum number of isolated entries in A. We investigate linear operators that preserve the isolation number of matrices over nonnegative integers. We obtain that T is a linear operator that strongly preserve isolation number k for 1 ≤ k ≤ min{m, n} if and only if T is a (P, Q)-operator, that is, for fixed permutation matrices P and Q, T(A) = P AQ or, m = n and T(A) = P AtQ for any m × n matrix A, where At is the transpose of A.

  • In this study, firstly we introduce generalized differential and integral operator, also using integral operator two classes are presented. Furthermore, some subordination results involving the Hadamard product (Convolution) for these subclasses of analytic function are proved. A number of consequences of some of these subordination results are also discussed.

  • We consider the magnetic $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ operator coupled with two different potentials. One of them is a harmonic oscillator and the other is a periodic potential. We give some periodic potential classes for which the operator has purely absolutely continuous spectrum. We also prove that for strong magnetic field or large coupling constant, there are open gaps in the spectrum and we give a lower bound on their number.

  • Actual type of aggregation performed by an ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator heavily depends upon the weighting vector. A number of approaches have been suggested for obtaining the associated weights. In this paper, we present analytic forms of OWA operator weighting functions, each of which has such properties as rank-based weights and constant value of orness, irrespective of number of objectives aggregated. Specifically, we propose four analytic forms of OWA weighting functions that can be positioned at 0.25, 0.334, 0.667, and 0.75 on the orness scale. The merits for using these weights over other weighting schemes can be mentioned in a couple of ways. Firstiy, we can efficiently utilize the analytic forms of weighting functions without solving complicated mathematical programs once the degree of orness is specified a priori by decision maker. Secondly, combined with well-known OWA operator weights such as max, min, and average, any weighting vectors, having a desired value of orness and being independent of the number of objectives, can be generated. This can be accomplished by convex combinations of predetermined weighting functions having constant values of orness. Finally, in terms of a measure of dispersion, newly generated weighting vectors show just a few discrepancies with weights generated by maximum entropy OWA.

  • Genetic algorithms (GAs) are very useful methods for global search and have been applied to various optimization problems. They have two kinds of important search mechanisms, crossover and mutation. Because the performance of GAs depends on these operators, a large number of operators have been developed for improving the performance of GAs. Especially, many researchers have been more interested in a crossover operator than a mutation operator. The reason is that a crossover operator is a main search operator in GAs and it has a more effect on the search performance. So, we also focus on a crossover operator. In this paper we first investigate the drawback of various crossovers, especially subtour-based crossovers and then introduce a new crossover operator to avoid such drawback and to increase efficiency. Also we compare it with several crossover operators for symmetric traveling salesman problem (STSP) for showing the performance of the proposed crossover. Finally, we introduce an efficient simple hybrid genetic algorithm using the proposed operator and then the quality and efficiency of the obtained results are discussed.

  • A newmethod of fast mask operators for edge detection is proposed, which is based on the matrix factorization. The output of each component in the multi-directional mask operator is obtained adding every image pixels in the mask area weighting by corresponding mask element. Therefore, it is same as the result of matrix-vector multiplication like one dimensional transform, i, e, , trasnform of an image vector surrounded by mask with a transform matrix consisted of all the elements of eack mask row by row. In this paper, for the Sobel and Prewitt operators, we find the transform matrices, add up the number of operations factoring these matrices and compare the performances of the proposed method and the standard method. As a result, the number of operations with the proposed method, for Sobel and prewitt operators, without any extra storage element, are reduced by 42.85% and 50% of the standard operations, respectively and in case of an image having 100x100 pixels, the proposed Sobel operator with 301 extra storage locations can be computed by 35.93% of the standard method.
