  • In 2000, K. Denecke and K. Mahdavi showed that there are many idempotent elements in $Hyp_{N_{\varphi}}(V)$ the set of normal form hypersubstitutions of type ${\tau}=(2)$ which are not idempotent elements in Hyp(2) the set of all hypersubstitutions of type ${\tau}=(2)$. They considered in which varieties, idempotent elements of Hyp(2) are idempotent elements of $Hyp_{N_{\varphi}}(V)$. In this paper, we study the similar problems on the set of all generalized hypersubstitutions of type ${\tau}=(2)$ and the set of all normal form generalize hypersubstitutions of type ${\tau}=(2)$ and determine the order of normal form generalize hypersubstitutions of type ${\tau}=(2)$.

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to develop a short form of the normal depression scale for individual use in the school, health, industry, organization, and counseling settings, based on the original normal depression scale (17 items). Methods: To achieve this purpose, we selected five items from the original test and analyzed data using Mplus 7.4 and SPSS 21.0. Results: The normal depression scale-short form consists of 5 items. The reliability of the short form (test-retest reliability) was good. The content validity and internal structure validity (1 factor model) were verified. The cut score between normal and dysfunctional depression was determined to be 18. Conclusions: The normal depression scale-short form for individual screening is verified to have good reliability and validity, so it is expected to be useful to perform quick screening of normal depression in the practical settings.

  • This paper is intended to verify the efficiency of anti-freeze agent and insulating form by analyzing the temperature history and the property of strength-increase about the concrete that is placed in the insulating form and normal form, using new type anti-freeze agent in batcher plant According to the results about the temperature history, while the lowest temperature shows 3$^{\circ}C$ in case of normal concrete + euroform, 4$^{\circ}C$ in case of normal concrete + insulating form, it shows 6$^{\circ}C$ in anti-freeze agent + the insulating form, so the effect is most favorable. The compressive strength with mixing anti-freeze agent or not, shows high in order of standard curing, structure-managing and open air-placed specimen and the concrete mixing anti-freeze agent shows the highest compressive strength-increase.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the mandibular dental and basal arch forms in subjects with normal occlusion and compare them with those of Class III malocclusion using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods: CBCT images of 32 normal occlusion (19 males, 13 females; 24.3 years) and 33 Class III malocclusion subjects (20 males, 13 females, 22.2 years) were selected. Facial axis and root center points were identified from the left to right mandibular first molars. Distances between the facial axis and root center points for each tooth were calculated, and 4 linear and 2 ratio variables were measured and calculated for each arch form. The variables were compared between groups by independent t-test. Pearson correlation coefficient was applied to assess the relationships between dental and basal variables within each group. Results: The mandibular dental and basal intercanine widths were significantly greater in the Class III group than in normal occlusion subjects (p < 0.05). The dental and basal intercanine widths as well as the dental and basal intermolar widths were strongly correlated in normal occlusion and moderately correlated in Class III malocclusion. Conclusions: The dental arch form demon strated a strong positive correlation with the basal arch form in the normal occlusion group and moderate correlation in the Class III malocclusion group. These results might be helpful for clinicians to have a better understanding of the importance of basal arch form in the alveolar bone.

  • A new approach to the logical design of 4NF database shceme, which can be easily automated, is proposed. The main features of the approach are : introduction of a single attribute right hand side, extension of the concept of independent relations, semantic analysis, and adaoption of dependency matrix. The underlying viewpoints of functional relationships of the approach are different from Fagin's in that we distinguish functional and multivalued dependency in terms of cardinality. An algorithm for automatic generation of fourth normal form is presented and implemented.

  • We present an efficient exponentiation algorithm for a finite field $GF(2^n)$ determined by an optimal normal basis of type II using signed digit representation of the exponents. Our signed digit representation uses a non-adjacent form (NAF) for $GF(2^n)$. It is generally believed that a signed digit representation is hard to use when a normal basis is given because the inversion of a normal element requires quite a computational delay. However our result shows that a special normal basis, called an optimal normal basis (ONB) of type II, has a nice property which admits an effective exponentiation using signed digit representations of the exponents.

  • A hull form of Baltic ice class IA Aframax tanker has been developed taking into consideration of powering performance in brash ice channels based on IA class rules. Speed performance of the ship hull form in normal seagoing has been validated through model tests in a towing tank. The hull form design developed in this work has demonstrated good speed performance in normal seagoing although the ship design is entitled to ice class IA.

  • The purpose of this research is to lay the foundation that middle aged woman takes care of more healthy, beautiful, attractive external features and prepares successful ageing on studying a difference of recognition between an actual somatotype and an ideal somatotype after we examine an actual somatotype and an ideal somatotype in the object of about $40{\sim}50$ middle-aged woman, dwells in Seoul, is the main group of a home consumption socially. The result of comparing a difference between an actual somatotype and an ideal somatotype was showing that in case of a facial form, the group which their faces are an egg-shaped prefers an egg-shaped and the group which their faces are a round-shaped prefers a round-shaped. In case of a silhouette, all groups prefers a normal type most. In case of a shoulder's type, all groups prefer a normal type most. In case of a shoulder-waist line, all groups prefers a Y line most. In case of a breast's form, all groups prefer a normal type most. In case of a back's form, all groups prefer a normal type most. In case of a buttocks' form, all groups prefers a normal type most. In case of a leg's form, all groups prefers a normal type most. On putting together research result as yet, middle aged women wish a similar somatotype irrespective of an age, an obesity measurement and this means a recognition of making an effort to be beautiful is alike. Therefore, it is necessary to recognize a somatotype of middle aged women uprightly and it must be accomplished a continuous, systematic consultation and education about a weight-control on exercising and not to mention of making a desirable eating habit.

  • In this paper, we study statistical inferences on the maximum likelihood estimation of a normal distribution when data are randomly censored. Likelihood equations are derived assuming that the censoring distribution does not involve any parameters of interest. The maximum likelihood estimators (MLEs) of the censored normal distribution do not have an explicit form, and it should be solved in an iterative way. We consider a simple method to derive an explicit form of the approximate MLEs with no iterations by expanding the nonlinear parts of the likelihood equations in Taylor series around some suitable points. The points are closely related to Kaplan-Meier estimators. By using the same method, the observed Fisher information is also approximated to obtain asymptotic variances of the estimators. An illustrative example is presented, and a simulation study is conducted to compare the performances of the estimators. In addition to their explicit form, the approximate MLEs are as efficient as the MLEs in terms of variances.
