보행량에 따른 도시부 회전교차로 운영에 관한 연구 (A Study of Roundabout Operation According to the Pedestrian Volume)

  • 원형교차로 중 회전교차로는 기존에 존재하였던 로터리의 형태와 유사한 형태의 교차로로서 최근 세계적으로 많이 설치되고 있으며 우리나라에서도 회전교차로에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 도시부의 경우 회전교차로 운영 효율에 큰 영향을 미치는 요소 중 하나인 보행량에 대한 영향 분석은 미미하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 보행량에 따른 회전교차로의 효율 분석 및 보행신호를 제시하였다. 첫째, 도시부 1차로 회전교차로의 용량을 분석하기 위해 VISSIM 시뮬레이션을 구성하였다. 둘째, VISSIM 시뮬레이션을 통해 보행량에 따라 신호가 없는 회전교차로와 신호가 있는 원형교차로로 구분하여 교차로의 평균차량 지체를 산정하였다. 끝으로, 이 연구에서 나타난 분석결과 도시부 회전교차로 설치시 보행량이 200명/시 이하인 경우 회전교차로가 적합하며 보행량이 200명/시 이상인 경우는 펠리컨 신호가 있는 원형교차로, 보행량이 600명/시가 높으면서 교통량이 1,500대/시 이상인 경우는 정주기식 신호가 있는 신호교차로가 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

Aspergillus nidulans에 있어서 uvsH 유전자가 mitotic recombination에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of uvsH Gene in Aspergillus nidulans on Mitotic Recombination Behabiour)

  • Aspergillus nidulans에서, UV나 4- NQO에 의한 돌연변이 유발에 있어 성내적으로 핑요한 uvsH돌연변이를 가 지고 있는 변이주를 이용하여 mitotic recombination 현상을 조사하였다. 비록 uvsH locus는 {pB 37과 centromere 사이에서의 자말적인 mitotic crossing over에는 영향플 주지 않았지만 uvsH/uvsH동형이애체에서 UV에 의한 Int te rgenic recombination은 얻어나지 않았다. 또한 서로 상보적이 아닌 riboA 1과 ribo A3 유전핵적 단시에서의 riboflavin에 대한 gene converSlOn에 있어셔 u uvsH 돌연변이는 자말석이든 LV보 유멜시켰던 이 과정에 관여하고 있지 않있다. 비록 정상석인 성 장에서는 거으1 차이가 없였지만, 세포들을 UV로 조사하였을 때 야생주에 비해 uvsH동형 이배체에서의 aneuploid발생이 높은 빈도로 나타났다.

홍화 수집자원의 작물학적 특성 및 교배 방법 (Agronomic Characteristics and Artificial-cross Method of Collected Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) Germplasm)

  • Background: Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is a useful medicinal and oil crop in Korea. However, when safflower is cultivated, the flowering period overlaps with the rainy season, and seed maturation is poor. Therefore, this study aimed to use basic research data to develop superior varieties using agronomic characteristics and crossing method. Methods and Results: A total of 34 safflower germplasms were sown and their agronomic characteristics were investigated. Based on these investigations, the cultivar 'ui-san-hong-hwa' was selected as the mother plant, and 'Myanmar safflower' (Hsu Pan) was selected as the father plant. In addition, we developed a floret-protecting cap to cover florets after emasculation during the artificial crossing. When florets were protected by the cap, the seed setting rate increased in comparison to that in the non-covered florets. Conclusions: Agronomic characteristics can contribute to developing suitable varieties. The results suggest that the protection cap will be helpful in breeding without the floral organ drying. This study contributes an efficient breeding method to develop new safflower varieties.

국내 소형 공항의 항공기 월경방지 대책 및 비행절차 수립 연구 (A Study Measures to Prevent Aircraft Crossing and Establish Flight Procedures at Domestic Small Airports)

  • Recently, domestic small airport development plans are being promoted centering on islands, and among them, Baengnyeong Island Airport is located very close to North Korea due to its geographical characteristics. In particular, since it is located in the P-518, which is prohibited airspace, it is essential to configure the arrival/departure flight procedure route similarly to the current ship in terms of securing flight safety. Therefore, in this study, a plan for airport location and facility scale was proposed by focusing on the runway operated for the purpose of aircraft operation through consultations with the Ministry of National Defense. It was proposed to meet the standards of the Airport Facility Act as an airport dedicated to domestic flights for airside facilities such as runway length and direction, target aircraft, landing pad, apron, runway and taxiway width appropriate for the topographical characteristics of Baengnyeong Island. As a result, the flight procedure is generally established as a two-way visual flight, but the 10-way arrival/departure procedure was planned to be changed to an instrument (non-precision) according to the specificity of the region. In addition, a flight procedure was established and presented for safe and systematic operation by reflecting the changes in airport facility size (landing pad, runway end safety area, etc.) following the change in instrument flight procedure in the visual flight procedure.

숫자 연결 퍼즐에 관한 교차 회피 우회 경로 알고리즘 (Algorithm for Cross-avoidance Bypass Routing in Numberlink Puzzle)

  • 주어진 숫자 쌍 간에 빈 셀을 경유하는 선을 연결함에 있어 다른 숫자의 연결선과 교차가 발생하지 않도록 하는 숫자 연결 퍼즐은 다항시간으로 퍼즐을 풀 수 있는 방법이 알려져 있지 않은 NP-완전 문제이다. 지금까지는 임의의 숫자를 선정하여 시행착오 법으로 퍼즐을 풀고 있다. 본 논문은 주어진 문제에 대해 빈 셀을 정점으로, 인접 셀들 간에 간선으로 연결한 격자 그래프로 변환하였다. 다음으로 숫자 쌍 들 간에 직선을 긋고, 교차가 발생한 숫자 그룹으로 분할하였다. 교차 숫자 그룹에서 교차를 회피하는 우회 경로를 설정하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 18개의 벤치마킹 데이터들에 적용한 결과 모든 데이터에 대해 퍼즐을 O(n)의 선형시간 복잡도로 풀 수 있음을 보였다.

The Contribution of Prosody to the Foreign Accent of Chinese Talkers' English Speech

  • This study attempts to investigate the contribution of prosody to the foreign accent in Chinese speakers' English production by examining the synthesized speech of crossing native and non-native talkers' prosody and segments. For the stimuli of the foreign accent ratings, we transplanted gender-matched native speakers' prosody onto non-native talkers' segments and vice versa, utilizing the TD-PSOLA algorithm. Eight English native listeners participated in judging foreign accent and comprehensibility of the transplanted stimuli. Results showed that the synthesized stimuli were perceived as stronger foreign accent regardless of speakers' proficiency when English speakers' prosody was crossed with Chinese speakers' segments. This suggests that segments contribute more than prosody to native listeners' evaluation of foreign accent. When transplanted with English speakers' segments, Chinese speakers' prosody showed a difference in duration rather than pitch between high and low proficiency such that stronger foreign accent was detected when low proficient Chinese speakers' duration was crossed with English speakers' segments. This indicated that prosody, more specifically duration, plays a role though the prosodic role is not overall as significant as segments. According to the post acoustic analysis, the temporal features contributing to making the duration parameter prominent as opposed to pitch were found out to be speaking rate, pause duration and pause frequency. Finally, foreign accent and comprehensibility showed no significant correlation such that native listeners had no difficulty listening to highly foreign accented speech.

Predicting Successful Defibrillation in Ventricular Fibrillation using Wave Analysis and Neuro-fuzzy

  • The purpose of this study was to predict successful defibrillation in ventricular fibrillation using parameters extracted by wave analysis method and neuro-fuzzy. Total 15 dogs were tested for predicting successful defibrillation. Feature parameters were extracted for return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) and non-ROSC by wave analysis method, and these parameters are an irregularity factor, spectral moments, mean power of level-crossing spectrum, and mean of alpha-significant value. Additionally, two parameters by analyzing method of frequency were extracted into a mean of power spectrum and a mean frequency. Then extracted parameters were analyzed in which parameters result to have high performance of discriminating ROSC and non-ROSC by a statistical method of t-test. The average of sensitivity and specificity were 62.5% and 75.0%, respectively. The average of positive predictive factor and negative predictive factor were 61.2% and 75.8%, respectively.

한국형 틸팅 열차 주위 유동장 수치 해석 (The Numerical Analysis off the Flow-field Around the Korean Tilting Train Express)

  • Numerical analysis of aerodynamic characteristics was differently performed according to the running situation of the Korean Tilting Train eXpress(TTX) that would be introduced for an improvement in efficiency of the used railroad track. Fluent 6.0 was used for the analysis of Non-tilting case, Tilting case and Passing-by case with the model of TTX. As a result, the aerodynamic drag had little difference between Tilting and Non-tilting case. However, pressure contour under the train of Tilting case was not symmetry because the gap between a train and the ground was different at both sides. In Passing-by case attraction and counterattraction occurred alternately and affected to the opposite train. When two trains were side by side, the maximum attraction was generated especially. Through an analysis of pressure wave in tunnel a large variation of pressure was generated by the bluff nose of TTX. The results in this study would be good data for the aerodynamic characteristic on TTX and provide important information to judgment of running safety.

닫힌-사슬 운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 체중지지율과 균형능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Closed-Chain Exercise on Weight Supporting Rate and Balance Ability in Stroke Patients)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of closed-chain exercise on weight supporting rate change within hemiplegic side and static dynamic balance ability in stroke patients. Methods : The subjects of the study were 13 hemiplegic patients who carried out closed-kinematic chain exercise program over 6 weeks. The exercises of the program are stand to sit with stall bar, stair-up & down by a hemiplegic leg and bridging exercise crossing the non-hemiplegic leg onto the hemiplegic leg. Each exercise was carried out over 3 sets of 10reps. Results : The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. After intervention, there was a statistically significant change in the weight supporting rate within hemiplegic and non-hemiplegic side(P<0.05). 2. After intervention, there was a statistically significant change in the static balance(FICSIT-4) ability(P<0.05). 3. After intervention, there was a statistically significant change in the dynamic balance(FSST, TUG, FRT) ability(P<0.05). Conclusion : The results of the study suggests that closed-chain exercise program in stroke patients improves their weight supporting rate and enhance the static dynamic balance.

DUAL PRESENTATION AND LINEAR BASIS OF THE TEMPERLEY-LIEB ALGEBRAS

  • The braid group $B_n$ maps homomorphically into the Temperley-Lieb algebra $TL_n$. It was shown by Zinno that the homomorphic images of simple elements arising from the dual presentation of the braid group $B_n$ form a basis for the vector space underlying the Temperley-Lieb algebra $TL_n$. In this paper, we establish that there is a dual presentation of Temperley-Lieb algebras that corresponds to the dual presentation of braid groups, and then give a simple geometric proof for Zinno's theorem, using the interpretation of simple elements as non-crossing partitions.
