This study is conducted to understand the meanings and nature of the experience of the physically abused children. This is a phenomenological study utilizing van Manen's method to present the children's inner world. The participants for this study were 10 children, in the age of 8 to 12, who were physically abused by their parents. Data were collected by using semi-structured interviews by the workers who regurally contacted children at the service agencies. Data were analyzed by using 'line by line' reflection by two graduate level students and by the researcher. Eight essential themes were drawn and used for the phenomenological understanding which reveals the meanings given by the children experiencing abuse. There were some suggestions for the abuse counsellors based on these findings.

This paper is the author's personal experience and interpretation as a student whilst participating in Professor Kyung-Sook Shin's English Literature graduate course, "Literature and Technology II: Feminisms and Digital Humanities," during the 2019 spring semester at Yonsei University, South Korea. Exploring the intersections of literary feminist theory and digital humanities, this paper examines not only the content, but also the methodology and political effects of collaboratively digitally annotating Elizabeth Barrett Browning's epic novel/poem, Aurora Leigh (1856) through the medium, Google Docs. In particular, this paper observes the students' interaction with the digital tools and literature-related pedagogy in two main parts. First, the democratic political nature of classroom culture when creating a new language/code during annotation. Second, the coexistence of cyberspace and the physical classroom space and its effect on time, specifically in the archival of the past, influencing of the future, and the splitting into the present multiverse. From a student's perspective in digital literary annotation, this paper shows that technology could become a way to decolonize and reprogram education to be more inclusive and collaborative.

The purpose of this study was to understand the meaning of menopausal age experienced by middle-aged men and to understand the nature of menopause perceive. Data were collected using the qualitative research method and Colaizzi's method was used to analyze. The results of the study showed that six categories and 19 themes and 44 themes of Physical changes, Psychological changes, Changes of work performance, Positive changes, Climacteric perception, Overcoming menopause The results of this study are expected to use basic data for the development and application of nursing intervention program from a future perspective.

It is needless to say that America's indiscriminate artillery and chemical attacks have worsened the conditions of Vietnam's tropical rain forests, causing war-torn combat troops and civilians to suffer more from the participation and aftermath of the Vietnam war. Around two decades after the Vietnam War, American and Vietnamese writers dealing with the destruction of the human and nature of the Vietnam War and the following traumatic experience commonly report the horrors of inhumane warfare, but some differences among them appear in the reception of the ecocide consciousness. For American writers who had been involuntarily involved or who had stayed in the back area as interpreters and counter-intelligence force, the Vietnam War was often a kind of exotic "addicted adventure" which their American hometown could not provide. But apart from overcoming postwar post-traumatic stress by writing of healing which was shared with American war writers, Vietnamese writers have been able to overcome the scars of war as the communal memorial, which Jonathan Shay emphasized as the necessary comforting ritual by community members showing the sign of honor and care. On the other hand, American war writers were on the side of "separate peace," as Jeong stressed, and the Vietnam War to them was more racist like the case of "body count." Nevertheless, it is fortunate that the hideous experience of war could turn them all into the creativity pool, just as the 5,000 square mile of bomb creators have been used as the postwar fish ponds.

Recently rural healing tourism has been attracting tourists' interest in relieving mental stress and restoring physical daily life with nature-friendly experience. The purpose of this study is to explore the urgent problems and challenges of rural healing tourism by conducting focus group interview(FGI) with experts. Fourteen experts were interviewed with a semi-structured questionnaire. From the interview data, six themes were identified for direction of healing tourism development. The results of the study are as follows; The area of rural healing tourism can be explained within the framework of health tourism. As for the difference between rural tourism and healing tourism, rural tourism is expected to enhance physical and mental relaxation, daily restoration, and health promotion if rural tourism expects the understanding and experience of agricultural and rural life, and educational effect. The core components of rural healing tourism were operators' expertise, program with rurality, ecological environment, and storytelling. The findings of this paper implicate the underlying dimension of rural healing tourism from a experts' perspective.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the nature of life among homosexuals in Korea. Method: Phenomenological methodology was used for the study. From February 2015 to January 2016, data were collected from 8 homosexuals through in-depth interviews and analyzed using Colaizzi's framework. Result: Five theme clusters and fourteen themes were identified for the life experiences of homosexuals. The five theme clusters were 'alien in an intolerant society', 'a fateful gender that can't be denied', 'process of coming out', 'endure as a homosexual', and 'future perspectives where expectation and anxiety coexist'. Conclusion: This study provides deep insight into the experience of homosexuals's lives in changing society and culture of Korea. Nursing practices should be improved for supportive attitudes.

Purpose: Contemporary consumers are increasingly adopting public displays of their loyalty towards brands: consumer dedication surpasses loyalty in that they find various ways to show their devotion to their favorite brands. The purpose of the current study is to utilize sports psychology to improve customer experience in the sports shops. Research design, data and methodology: To investigate the purpose of the study and suggest the solutions, Epistemology methods were used to analyze the nature of knowledge and various forms of attaining knowledge. As such, epistemology asks questions such as "what are constitutes of valid knowledge?". Results: This study figured out five theoretical results to suggest for practitioners in the sports retail shop based on prior research. According to the research, sports psychology can affect consumer buying behavior which builds upon specific demographics and their differentiating behavior. The results also show that males shop with specificity, while female consumers are likely to shop for pleasure. Men are also less frequent shoppers than women. Conclusions: Above all, this study concludes that a consumer decision-making study is vital in the sports retail business, and information about consumer decision-making can be an influential factor for sports retailers to increase their competitive advantage.

For Romantic women writers the paratext itself is essentially a masculine literary space affiliated with established writing practices; however, this paper suggests that Charlotte Turner Smith's mode of discourse in her use of notes and their relation to the text proper are never fixed in her contemplative blank-verse long poem, Beachy Head (1807). Even though the display of learning in the paratext partly supports the woman writer's claim to authority, this paper argues that Smith's endnotes also indicate her way of challenging the double bind for women writers, summoning masculine authority on the margins of her book while simultaneously interrogating essentialist thinking and instructions about one's identity in a culture and on the printed page. The poem shows how the fringes of the book can be effectively transformed from a masculine site of authority to an increasingly feminized site of interchange as Smith writes with an awareness of patriarchal, imperial abuses of power in that area of the book. There is a persistent transgression of cultural/textual boundaries occurring in Beachy Head, which explores the very scene and languages of imperial encounter. Accordingly, if Wordsworth's theory of composition suggests a subjective and abstract poetic experience-an experience without mediation-in which its medium's purpose seems to be to disappear from the reader's consciousness, an examination of the alternative discourse of self-exposure in Smith's poem reveals the essentially fluid nature of media-consciousness in the Romantic era, which remains little acknowledged in received accounts of Romantic literary culture.

The purpose of this study is to figure out the effects of nature-friendly environmental education program on environmental pollution prevention and practice attitude of children. To achieve this, a survey was experimentally carried out on total 43 five-year old class children in Chungcheong Province-based preschools. They were classified into the experimental group made up of 12 male children and 10 female children, and the control group made up of 12 male children and 9 female children. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was no statistically significant difference in environmental pollution prevention and practice attitude between the control group. And there was an increase of general environmental pollution prevention and practice attitude in the experimental group, showing a statistically significant difference. Second, there was a decrease and an increase of the 'concern about nature', 'aesthetical experience' and 'emotional stability' by each sub-factor of environmental pollution prevention and practice attitude in the control group and the experimental group, respectively, showing a significant effect. And there was an increase of 'activities to prevent environmental pollution' and 'practice attitude' in both control group and the experimental group, showing a significant effect. As stated above, the nature-friendly environmental education program for children had positive effects on the environmental pollution prevention and practical attitude improvement. Consequently, it is proven that this program is useful for improving the environmental pollution prevention and practice attitude of children through education for repetitive life attitude of natural preciousness from early childhood.

This study is an empirical study to examine the effect of the characteristics of service nature of Korean small and medium manufacturing firms on organizational innovation. It is essential to know service in order for Korea, which has a strong image as a fast follower, to enhance the competitiveness of Small and Medium size Manufacturing firms. By analyzing the service characteristics phenomenon, it is possible to understand the service nature characteristics and to strengthen the capacity to meet them. In order to gain a new resource while achieving organizational innovation, the manufacturing industry can produce new demand for the main products with competitive advantage. The characteristics of service nature are derived from relationship, equality, interactivity, and experiential value. In order to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium size manufacturing firms, core competencies required for organizational innovation are set as dynamic competencies, and to prove it. The dynamic capacity was found to affect the relationship, interactivity, and experience value. It is proved that it is an important factor to promote organizational innovation as a capability to identify and actively utilize organizational innovation opportunities ahead of competitors in a rapidly changing environment. It is needed to confirm that large corporations, midsize companies, and overseas companies can achieve the same results.
