Due to rapid growth of nail art industry, various materials and expression tools are have been developed. Increasing number of consumers favor diverse nail art techniques including painting and artificial tips in addition to basic care such as cuticle trimming or coloring. Accordingly, the diversity of polish colors has been settled as a concept of total fashion in addition to the clothes and accessories. As the result, nails may be damaged or discolored. A study the nail discoloration by using polish was purposed that contribute to the development of nail protective products. The tests were conducted with 20 college students for six months from March 3 to Aug. 28, 2009, using digital camera as the measurement apparatus. The students were classified into two groups which applied bright polish (white, beige, pink series) and dark polish (purple, blue, black series), and then divided into the groups applied and not applied the base coat which is known to be effective in preventing nail discoloration, and the groups applied and not applied tonic. The students applied polish for one week, and removed the polish with remover and photographed to examine the degree of nail discoloration. Dark colored polished resulted in earlier coloration and discoloration than the bright colored ones. Base coat could prevent coloration and the color changes of hyponychium and eponychium were lighter than the cases not applied with base coat. Tonic could delay coloration and reduced the color changes of hyponychium showing that tonic was effective for preventing coloration and discoloration of nail in addition to nutrition.

현대인의 네일숍 방문과 시술 빈도 증가에 따른 지나친 업무강도와 네일숍 방문고객으로부터 받는 스트레스는 네일 미용인의 직무 심리에 부정적 영향을 미치고 있다. 이에 네일 미용인의 네일 시술기법을 통한 직무 효능감과 직무 만족도를 상승시킬 현실적이고 구체적인 방안 마련 필요성에 따라 네일 케어, 젤 매니큐어, 프렌치 스컬프쳐, 네일 그라데이션 등의 네일기법 시술 시 지각하게 되는 직무 효능감과 직무 만족도에 대한 연구모형과 가설을 바탕으로 연구하였다. 연구 결과 네일 그라데이션기법이 네일 미용인의 직무 효능감을 가장 높게 유발하는 것으로 나타났으며, 젤 매니큐어기법을 시술할수록 네일 미용인의 직무 만족도가 증가하는데 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 다양한 네일기법 간 복합적인 응용이 가능해지고 네일 미용인의 직무 심리 양상에 대한 좌표를 제시함과 동시에 직무환경 개선과 새로운 네일 시술기법 개발을 위한 기초자료로 작용하리라 사료한다.

The goal of this study was to develop a curriculum based on practice and job competency, reflecting opinions on the required job competence of nail practitioners and professionals related to nail beauty. Through in-depth interviews with nail experts, the research focuses on developing nail beauty competency-based curriculum and curriculum profiles that reflect practitioners' needs of job competence in the field. In-depth interviews with 11 field experts and surveys of 154 people were conducted to develop a competency-based curriculum for beginner nail hairdressers. The results of this study show that the existing 38 National Competency Standards (NCS) job competencies were reduced to 21 job competencies. In addition, based on the common opinions of experts who reflect the current trend, two tasks on "eyelashes" and "waxing" were added, and they were modified and supplemented with 23 core competencies. The development of a competency-based curriculum and educational programs for nail beauty was performed based on the requirements of the core competencies investigated and the development of a systematic map for the core competencies of beginner nail technicians and hairdressers. In conclusion, the need for professional education and training for nail hairdressers is growing, and it can be seen that a curriculum building multi-faceted abilities is needed for their qualifications as experts. This study found that it is necessary to develop interpersonal communication skills that include marketing elements other than practical skills such as personality and customer response methods in the nail beauty curriculum.

본 연구에서는 천경자 그림에 표현된 색채를 응용하여 추상적 네일디자인을 작품제작으로 표현하고자 한다. 이를 통해 네일 디자인의 창의적인 아이디어 발상에 대한 기본 토대를 마련하고 네일디자인의 표현영역을 확대하는데 목적을 가진다. 실증적 연구로서 천경자의 미술적 특징이 잘 표현된 작품 5가지를 선정하여 NCS 자연색체계를 활용하여 색채 데이터 분석을 하였으며, 색채 활용과 더불어 네일디자인을 표현하기 위해 천경자의 작품 속 대표되는 5가지의 모티프를 선정하여 각 작품에 표현하였다. 본 연구의 작품 제작에 나타난 디자인은 네일디자인과 현대 한국회화의 융 복합이며, 이를 통하여 뷰티디자인의 예술성을 다양한 시각으로 재창조하여 네일 디자인을 개발하였다.

최근 뷰티산업 분야의 네일 아트 비중이 높아지면서 젤 네일 기술과 제품이 큰 발전을 보이고 있다. 그러나 젤 네일에 대한 관심이 높은 만큼 시술로 인한 네일 손상 발생률도 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 네일 손상을 개선하고자 20~30대 여성 19명을 대상으로 젤 폴리쉬 시술 후 무 처치 실험 A군(n=6), 식이 복합 영양제를 섭취하는 실험 B군(n=6), 식이 복합 영양제와 네일 복합 영양제를 동시 적용하는 실험 C군(n=7)으로 나누어 네일의 표면 변화, 두께 변화, 손상도 분석 및 만족도를 조사하였다. 그 결과 식이 복합 영양제와 네일 복합 영양제를 동시 적용한 실험 C군의 모든 결과가 우수하였으며, 전자주사현미경을 사용하여 측정한 표면의 형태학적 변화는 실험 B군과 확연한 차이를 보였고, 두께 변화와 만족도는 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 식이 복합 영양제의 섭취는 손상 네일의 두께와 표면 개선에 도움이 되며, 네일 복합 영양제를 동시에 사용할 경우 보다 높은 효과를 기대할 수 있는 것으로 판단된다.

아이스크림 색채는 소비자들의 시각적 감각을 자극하며 연상을 통해 브랜드 스토리를 전달한다. 이러한 색채 활용의 마케팅은 뷰티영역에서도 활용되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 이론적 고찰과 실증적 연구를 기반으로 스토리를 구현의 뷰티디자인 도출을 목적으로 하며 'B' 브랜드 아이스크림 스토리 컬러를 네일 디자인으로 나타내었다. 이론적 고찰을 통하여 아이스크림 'B' 브랜드에 활용된 색채 및 브랜드 스토리를 고찰하였으며 실증적 연구를 통하여 도출된 네일 디자인을 네일 팁 위에 나타내었다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 아이스크림 색채와 네일아트의 융합을 특정 브랜드의 색채를 반영한 뷰티디자인 및 색채 이미지 연출의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다고 사료된다.

미용 산업은 경제성장과 함께 경쟁력 있는 서비스 산업으로 성장하고 있으며, 특히 네일아트는 최근에 급속한 성장을 보이고 있다. 최근 예약 시스템을 통해 개인의 시간 관리를 효율적으로 하려는 노력이 있지만, 예약부도나 노쇼라는 문제가 사회적으로 큰 이슈로 대두되고 있으며 이는 경제적인 문제로도 이어지고 있다. 본 연구는 네일샵에서의 예약부도 문제에 대해 인지하고 이를 방지를 위한 개선방안을 모색하고 이 분야의 기반 연구 자료를 제공하는 데에 도움이 되고자 하였으며, 연구 대상자로는 대전·충청지역에 거주하고 있는 네일샵 이용 고객 476명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 수집된 설문 자료는 통계프로그램 SPSS 24.0를 이용하여 분석하였으며 연구 결과를 종합해보면, 예약부도의 가장 큰 원인은 단순변심으로 나타났으며, 이를 줄이기 위해서는 기업의 노력뿐만 아니라 소비자들이 예약에 대한 중요성을 인지해야 한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이에 예약부도율을 줄이기 위한 방안으로 취소 수수료 지불제, 예약금 환불 불가제, 재 예약 불가제, 벌점제, 선결제 등을 제안하고자 한다. 하지만 현재 뷰티 업계에서는 예약부도에 대한 체계적인 규정이 없는 실정으로, 추후 예약 관련 규정이 명시된 후의 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to evaluate the exposure of VOCs and effects of the chemicals on the nail technicians whose works in a nail shop. Methods: For four month from May to August in 2016, we measured twenty-two kinds of VOCs in ten nail shops and carried out health examinations on thirty-four workers in there. Results: The TVOC concentration in indoor air of nail shops is $0.487mg/m^3$ at a minimum and $33.236mg/m^3$ at a maximum where it consists of 70.5% of Ketones, 25.4% of Alcohols, 2.6% of Esters, 0.8% of Aldehydes and 0.7% of Aromatics. The VOCs concentration during nail art works shows an increase in average ratio 1.8 compared to the concentration of indoor air quality and also the concentration of Isopropanol rose with 3.2 of the highest ratio. The results of Spearman correlation between TVOC concentration in indoor air and environmental factor was like that has significance level of correlation(${\rho}$<0.05, r=0.682) in case of number of customers per day, but the other factors were not meaningful in correlation. Correlation between VOCs and medical check-up items was like that has positive significance level(${\rho}$<0.01, r=0.638) between isopropanol and GPT, but the others have not meaningful. The exposure level of VOCs was not exceed the criteria exposure level 1 of working environment measuring method which announced by labor ministry in all ten nail shop indoor air quality. Conclusions: In this study although it was not significant correlation between harmful substances and medical check-up items in the nail shop indoor air quality, it is necessary to do more ventilation and to install exhaust facilities because of existing high VOCs concentration in the nail shop indoor air.

본 연구의 목적은 네일샵 이용자들이 네일샵 추천의도의 영향요인을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 수도권 10대~50대 남녀 305명의 설문자료를 수집한 뒤 불성실한 응답과 문제성 발톱이 없는 170명을 제외한 135명 자료로 활용하였다. 분석 결과 문제성 발톱유형에 따른 차이에서는 내성발톱이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가(F=5.588, p<.01), 발 관리 장소에 따른 차이에서는 발관리 행동은 홈케어(집)/민간요법/약국(F=4.319, p<.01), 문제성 발톱에 대한 네일샵 추천의도에서는 네일샵이 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다(F=15.152, p<.01). 또한 네일샵의 문제성 발톱케어 가능인지, 네일샵에서 문제성 관리여부, 발관리 행동, 전문성 인식에 따른 네일샵 방문의도가 네일샵 추천의도에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다(F=16.847, p<.001). 따라서 본 연구는 네일샵에서 문제성발톱 케어 인식도를 높이고, 문제성 발톱유형에 따른 개선 및 예방적용을 확장하는데 기초자료로 판단된다.

본 연구는 네일 미용사 국가기술 자격증 취득 전후의 수강생에 대한 실태 및 자격증 취득 동향을 조사하고, 자격증 취득을 위한 효율적인 교육방안과 수강생 역량에 따른 체계적인 데이터 구축의 기초자료를 제공할 목적이다. 광주광역시 거주 네일미용 수강생을 대상으로 네일미용 산업체 경력에 따른 각 변인 간의 네일 미용사 국가기술 자격증 취득 동향에 대해 통계 패키지 프로그램 SPSS v 18.0을 활용하였다. 분석 결과 여성(80.8%), 미혼(70.8%), 20대(47.7%), 초대졸 또는 대졸(26.2%), 학생(42.3%)의 비중이 높게 나타났다. 그리고 네일 미용사 국가기술 자격증 취득을 위한 성별(性別)에 따른 기간과 비용의 교차분석 결과 Pearson 카이제곱 유의확률(p)이 각각 .416와 .899로 남녀 간 차이가 있다는 결론이 도출되었다. 네일미용 산업체 현장 경력은 자격증 취득을 위한 교육 기간, 수강비용, 교육기관, 응시경험(p<.001) 등에서 모두 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 네일미용 마케팅의 발전 도모와 향후 지향해야 할 네일 미용업의 건설적인 비전 제시가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
