  • This paper introduces new mixed vector FQ-implicit variational inequality problems and corresponding mixed vector FQ-implicit complementarity problems for set-valued mappings, and studies the equivalence between them under certain assumptions in Banach spaces. It also derives some new existence theorems of solutions for them with examples under suitable assumptions without monotonicity. This paper generalizes and extends many results in [8, 10, 19-22].

  • In this paper, we introduce a system of nonlinear variational inclusions involving (A, $\eta$)-monotone mappings in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Based on the generalized resolvent operator technique associated with (A, $\eta$)-monotonicity, the approximation solvability of solutions using an iterative algorithm is investigated. Our results improve and extend the recent ones announced by many others.

  • A new circuit configuration for charge-balancing successive approximation Analog-to-Digital converters is described. This consists of a improved successive approximation register(SAR) and a weighted capacitor Digital-to-Analog converter (WCDAC). Due to the inherent conversion property of the WCDAC, the A/D converter using the WCDAC can be simply implemented by successive approximation conversion method, and 4bit monotonicity conversion with differential nonlinearity less 1/2LSB is completed in 80 US.

  • In this paper, we define signed interval-valued Choquet integrals and shows the signed interval-valued Choquet integrals can model violations of separability and monotonicity Furthermore, we discuss some applications to intertemporal preference, asset pricing, and welfare evauations.

  • In this paper, we establish the log convexity and Turán type inequalities of extended (p, q)-beta functions. Likewise, we present the log-convexity, the monotonicity and Turán type inequalities for extended (p, q)-confluent hypergeometric function by utilizing the inequalities of extended (p, q)-beta functions.

  • First the notion of the A-monotonicity is applied to the approximation - solvability of a class of nonlinear variational inclusion problems, and then the convergence analysis is given based on a projection-like method. Results generalize nonlinear variational inclusions involving H-monotone mappings in the Hilbert space setting.

  • This paper is to analyze various phenomena of NPIs based on Nonveridicality Theory. For this purpose, I present the previous studies concerning NPls and examine their problems: Ladusaw's(1980) Downward Entailment and Zwarts'(1993) Monotonicity Theory. To solve their problems I suggest Giannakidou's(1998, 1999, 2000) Nonveridicality Theory. To conclude, this paper clarifies the reason why NPls are licensed and resolves the problems of previous studies. I explain NPIs' phenomena in questions, modals, intentional verbs, before, perhaps and so on. I analyse the examples of NPls in BNC, S&S, P&P to prove my claim.

  • Some new trace inequalities for convex functions of self-adjoint operators in Hilbert spaces are provided. The superadditivity and monotonicity of some associated functionals are investigated. Some trace inequalities for matrices are also derived. Examples for the operator power and logarithm are presented as well.

  • In this paper we examine the relation among law-invariant coherent risk measures with the Fatou property, distortion risk measures and spectral risk measures, and give a new proof of the relation among them. It is also shown that the spectral risk measure satisfies the monotonicity with respect to stochastic dominance and the comonotonic additivity.
