Data were collected from 328 usable questionnaires among community residents participating rural development projects in Buyeo and Chungyang county, Chungnam province. Results of a factor analysis yielded four dimensions of community perceived impacts which were negative socio-economic impacts, positive economic impacts, positive environmental impacts, and positive social impacts. Hierarchical regression analysis revealed that negative socio-economic impacts, positive economic impacts, and positive environmental impacts affected significantly for community satisfaction. it reveals that there are moderating effects on community participation of negative socio-economic impacts and positive economic impacts. It was suggested that negative socio-economic impacts, positive economic impacts, and community participation should be considered to implement rural development projects and its policy decision making.

A total of 377 samples who had visited theme parks in China and Korea were surveyed. Results: Sensory experience, emotional experience, and cognitive experience have significant causal relationships with perceived value in Both Chinese and Korean consumers. Perceived value has a positive effect on brand support behavior and interaction with customer has a moderating effect between brand experience variables and perceived value in Both Chinese and Korean consumers. Second, the causal relationship between behavioral experience and perceived value is not significant in Both Chinese and Korean consumers. Third, there were significant differences in the effects of emotional experience and cognitive experience on perceived value between Chinese consumers and Korean consumers. Conclusions: Managers of theme park industry should design experience programs considering various brand experience variables for both Chines consumers and Korean consumers. Second, it is necessary to raise the level of customer interaction between employees and customers.

  • Purpose: This study investigated the association between adolescent health behaviors (drinking, smoking, and drug use) and sexual intercourse, as well as the moderating effects of economic status, cohabitation with parents, and school type, among adolescents in Korea. Methods: Secondary data from the 16th Adolescent Health Behavior Survey (2020) were used. A total of 395 schools and 54,948 middle and high school students participated in the study. Complex sample frequency analysis, the Rao-Scott test, and complex sample logistic regression analyses were performed. Results: Sexual intercourse rates for men and women were 5.8% and 3.3%, respectively. Approximately 7.3% of high school students and 1.8% of middle school students reported having had sexual relations. Drinking (odds ratio [OR] = 3.15, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 2.82~3.52), smoking (OR = 6.75, 95% CI = 5.90~7.71), and drug use (OR = 3.03, 95% CI = 2.23~4.11) significantly increased the risk of sexual intercourse. Economic status and school type had moderating effects on the association between drinking and sexual intercourse. Conclusion: Adolescent drinking, smoking, and drug use are associated with a higher risk of sexual experience. Thus, to reduce this risk, controlling alcohol consumption, smoking, and drug use is necessary. In addition, programs for healthy lifestyles and sexual intercourse should be differentiated according to the school type and the economic conditions of the adolescents' households.

  • Purpose: This cross-sectional study aimed to evaluate the mediating and moderating effects of resilience in the relationship between experience of workplace bullying and its consequences among hospital nurses. Methods: The participants included 187 registered nurses working in general hospitals or a tertiary hospital in Busan and Gyeongnam Province, South Korea. Data were collected from October 25-November 30, 2019, using structured questionnaires. The moderating effects were examined using stepwise hierarchical multiple regression models. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 statistical program. Results: The results demonstrated that resilience had a moderating role in the relationship between experience of workplace bullying and its consequences in hospital nurses (β=.01, p=.024). However, resilience showed no mediating effect. Conclusion: To prevent and control workplace bullying, as well as to minimize its negative effects, it is necessary to develop a program that can enhance the resilience of hospital nurses.

  • Background: The aim of the study is to examine whether mediating or moderating effects of stress between teachers' work environment and work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Methods: Two hundred nine participants took part in the study and completed the surveys including work environment, stress and work-related musculoskeletal disorders questionnaires. Hayes's PROCESS macro was used to test the research models for mediating and moderating effects of stress between work environment with teachers and work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Indirect effect was tested using bootstrapped confidence intervals. Results: The result confirmed that Stress served as a indirect mediator between work environment and work-related musculoskeletal disorders, whereas there was no significant the moderating effect. Conclusion: Stress mediates the relationship between work environment and work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Therefore, it is crucial that teachers' work environment that increases stress should be enhanced to reduce work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

  • Objective: This study aims investigate the moderating effect of mothers' overprotective parenting in the influence of young children's competence, as determined by their temperament, on mastery motivation. Methods: An online survey was conducted on 429 mothers with children aged 3-5. The collected data was analyzed using K-means clustering in SPSS 23.0 and the Process macro Model 2. Results: Children's temperaments were categorized into four types : easy-active temperament, easy-inactive temperament, slow temperament, and difficult temperament. It was confirmed that children's competence directly affected their mastery motivation when they had easy-inactive, slow, or difficult temperament. It was also found that mothers' intrusive control had a direct main effect on object persistence when children had easy temperament, while there was no effect on mastery pleasure. The moderating effects of mothers' anxious protection on the pathway from children's competence to object persistence were significant only among children with a slow temperament. Conclusion/Implications: This study highlights the need for mothers to adapt their parenting behavior to their children's temperament type. The study confirmed partial moderating effects of mothers' overprotective parenting in the influence of children's competence, as determined by their temperament, on mastery motivation.

  • This study explored the influence of two types of conflict(task and relationship conflict) on group creativity and tested this model with a sample of 58 teams. Relationship conflict negatively influenced group creativity but, task conflict did not show the effects on group creativity. Specifically we found the moderating effects of supportive leadership and communication. Supportive leadership style moderated positively both task conflict and relationship conflict on group creativity. But controlling leadership styled moderated negatively relationship conflict and group creativity. Finally the relationship between task conflict and group creativity was moderated by communication. Overall, we suggest conflict is one of the important group process to boost group creativity and supportive leadership and communication are the important moderators to manage conflict successfully and effectively.
