초등학교 6학년 때 바느질실습 수업 경험에 대한 중학생의 인식과 요구 (Middle School Students' Perceptions and Needs about the Experience of Sewing Practice Class in 6th Grade at Elementary School)

  • 본 연구는 중학교 1, 2학년 남녀 학생 205명을 대상으로 초등학교 6학년 때 경험한 바느질실습 수업에 대한 인식과 현재의 요구를 알아보고, 중학교 바느질실습 수업 개선을 위한 정보를 수집하거나 시사점을 도출하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들의 실습내용이나 교수 학습 방법에 대한 만족도는 중간값(3.00)보다 약간 높게 나타났다. 수업 평가의 하위 영역 중 참여도가 평균이 가장 높았고 그 다음으로는 흥미도, 난이도, 필요도, 중요도, 활용도 순이었으며 모두 성별에 따른 유의한 차이를 보여 여학생이 남학생보다 바느질실습 수업을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 따라서 가정교사는 이를 염두에 두고 수업을 설계하거나 성별에 따른 인식 차이의 원인이나 요구를 파악해야 한다. 둘째, 학생들의 바느질실습 수업 평가에 성별, 실습내용, 교수 학습 방법 등이 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였다. 가정교사는 성별이나 학년에 상관없이 실습내용에 대한 학생들의 만족도를 높이기 위해 학생들이 실습내용을 자유롭게 선정하도록 할 필요가 있다. 다양한 실습내용으로 실습하기 위해서는 학생 중심 활동이나 모둠 중심 활동이 이루어져야 한다. 마지막으로 학생들은 생활용품과 장식품을 만들거나 자신이 만들고 싶은 것을 자유롭게 만들기를 희망하였다. 구상한 것을 자유롭게 만들거나 모둠 활동을 통해 모둠 작품을 만드는 새로운 교수 학습 방법에 대한 학생들의 요구는 중간값보다 높게 나타났다. 본 연구에서 조사한 요구나 도출한 시사점을 가정교사가 수업을 설계하는데 반영한다면 바느질실습 수업에 대한 학생들의 인식이 긍정적으로 변화될 것이다.

흡연중학생의 니코틴의존도에 영향을 미치는 사회·심리적 변인 (Affecting Nicotine Dependence of Social Psychological Variables in Smoking middle school)

  • 본 연구는 흡연중학생의 기본심리욕구 만족, 사회적 지지, 흡연태도가 니코틴의존도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 2015년 9월부터 2015년 11월까지 D시와 K도에 소재한 중학교에 재학중인 남녀 흡연 학생 150명을 할당표집 하였으며, 자료 수집은 자가 보고 설문지법을 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 18.0프로그램으로 t-test와 분산분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석의 방법을 이용하였다. 연구결과 니코틴의존도는 일반적 특성 중 학년과 첫 흡연시기에 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 기본심리욕구 만족(r=-.221, P=.008)과 기본심리 욕구 만족의 하위 변수인 유능감(r=-.194, p=.021), 관계성(r=-.219, p=.009)과 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 또한 흡연중학생의 니코틴의존도에 대하여 기본심리욕구 만족(${\beta}=-.221$, p=.008)이 42%의 설명력을 보였다. 결론적으로 본 연구결과 기본심리욕구 만족은 흡연 중학생의 니코틴의존도를 감소시키는 요인으로 확인되었다. 그러므로 흡연중학생의 기본심리욕구 만족을 증가시키기 위한 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

일 도시 중학생을 위한 학교정신보건사업 모형 - 광주광역시 남구효사랑 청소년정신보건센터 - (Model of School Mental Health Program for Middle School Students in a City : Center for the Hyosarang Adolescent Mental Health, Namgu, Gwangju City)

  • Purpose: The goal of this paper is to offer practical suggestions for developing, implementing, and maintaining a successful school mental health program based on the model of a school mental health program for middle school students at the Namgu Hyosarang adolescent Mental Health Center. The model will be divided into six areas and the challenges and future direction of this program: creative approach to funding, creative staffing, education, training, needs assessment & resource mapping, collaboration and partnerships in a school mental health program, and developing an outcome evaluation research. Method: This is a descriptive study of the school mental health program model for middle school students of Namgu Hyosarang Adolescent Mental Health Center implemented over a four year period. Conclusion: Within this paper, a blueprint that can guide the development and implementation of school mental health programs has been offered. The actual application of this model will vary depending on the structure and goals of individual programs and schools. This model of our center has been identified as an effective school mental health program and the actual application program in regular learning times to middle school students. Establishing guidelines about the types of activities necessary for the successful implementation and sustainability of a school mental health program constitutes the first step in standardizing this process, and the school mental health movement continues to receive national recognition as a viable services delivery model for adolescents in need of mental health services. The recommendations outlined indicate that a school mental health program is more effective and necessary than the clinical service of a psychiatric hospital for adolescents' emotional/behavioral problems.

중.고등학생 및 대학생의 과학 관련 태도에 대한 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on the Attitudes toward Science of Middle School, High School, and University Students)

  • 본 연구에서는 중학교, 고등학교, 과학 관련 전공 대학생들의 과학 관련 태도 수준에 대해 비교 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 바탕으로 미래 과학 교육을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 중학생 70명,고등학생 72명, 대학생 95명 등 총 237명이었다. 과학관련 태도의 조사는 리커르트 방식(1에서 5점 척도)으로 응답하는 도구를 개발하여 사용하였는데, 과학적 탐구, 과학 투자의 중요성, 과학자의 평범성, 과학의 사회적 가치 등 4개 영역에서 총 20 문항을 구성하였다. 과학 관련 태도 4개 영역 중 가장 높은 태도수준을 나타낸 영역은 과학 투자의 중요성이었으며,가장 낮은 태도 수준을 나타낸 영역은 과학자의 평범성으로 조사되었다. 과학 관련 태도 점수는 중학교,고등학교, 대학교 등 학교 급간에 따라서는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았으나, 성별에 따라서는 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다. 과학 관련 분야의 인재 양성을 위해서는 중등교육 및 대학 교육의 교육 과정 개발 시 과학 관련 태도를 배양시키기 위한 방안이 요구된다.

초 . 중 . 고등학교 비만관리프로그램 구축에 관한 연구 (The Survey on Construction of Obesity Management Program for Primary, Middle and High Schools)

  • This study attempts to develop a program for obesity prevention and management for students in primary, middle, and high school and was carried based on the program development process as suggested by Ewles and Simnett. Data were collected from September 1st to September 30th, 2000. The study method is as follows: 1) Reviewing the present obesity control programs practiced in primary, middle, and high school (196 schools total) in metropolitan, medium-sized, and small cities, 2) Surveying obesity students'(682 students total) perception of the obesity management in their school. 3) Reviewing the annual plan for obesity in primary, middle, and high schools 4) Analyzing the educational data (CD, VIDEO) for obesity The results are as below: I. The media researched related to obesity were mainly CD and video, aimed primarily primary school students and are biased in nature. 2. The results of how to manage obesity in students: the difficulty of obesity education in the primary school, is the arousal of a sense of shame among obese students and the lack of various educational data are the most. In the middle and high schools, a lack of various educational data, and no time or lack of time were prevailing concerns. Paramount in managing obesity is weight control, as answered by majority of primary, middle, and high school students. The major problem of obesity management is the non-cooperation of children. 3. Asked whether the weight controlling aspect of health care class was helpful or not, 51.4% of primary school students, and 71.6% of middle and high school students answered not. The most popular educational method used in health care class is the computer, with a 56.4% approval rating. Most 43.5% of respondents answered that they wanted the content of obesity management program to focus on how to lose weight. Therefore, based on the results, the obesity management program is constructed to the steps of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assessment includes administering surveys on health needs among students and their parents and physique tests. Planning includes the set-up of long term and short term educational goal and the establishment of an operation system. Implementation includes education, exercise, behavior modification, and health service programs. Evaluation includes step-by-step evaluations for obesity reduction. After this study is conducted, the following should be further researched: More practical and systematic obesity management programs should be developed for the evaluation results. In addition, it is important to develop an appropriate media for obesity management the primary, middle and high school students.

수원지역 중학교 1학년생의 성별에 따른 식행동과 건강행동 비교 (The Gender Comparison of Dietary and Health Behavior of First Grade Middle School Students in Suwon Gyeonggi, Korea)

  • From the onset of puberty or during its progress, eating and health behaviors are important in establishing optimum growth and healthy fitness in middle school students. This study investigated the dietary and health behavior of first grade middle school students(male 260, female 255) selected from 3 middle schools in Suwon. Results were analyzed using the statistical program(SAS ver. 8.1). Usual dietary habits were scored by the Likert scale of 5 points and obtained the mean and standard deviation. Obtaining significant gender difference, chi-square and student t-test were also done. Daily breakfast intake was 70% of all students but some of them ate alone(27.3%). The amount of food intake was slightly less(34.8%) but sufficient food for dinner(53.2%). The purpose of each meal was solving hunger(57.4%). However, they want to change their current eating habits because of an unbalanced diet. Usual dietary habits were similar in gender, but 'apply nutrition knowledge' and 'consider food combination' were better in female students (p<0.01), 'regular meals' were higher in males(p<0.01). With respect to health behavior, the subjects went for daily walks for less than an hour(39.9%) and got 7-8 hours of sleep per day(33.8%). The amount of sleep was sufficient(22.6%) in males but in insufficient (33.8%) in female students(p<0.01). Weight control efforts for reducing(female 27.5% male 20.8%) and for increasing(male 10.6%) differed according to gender(p<0.01). As the result of the above analyses, the direction of nutrition education would be oriented to the nutrition knowledge and food combination applying to the diets of male students and regular meals for females. And also sleep dissatisfaction needs to be altered with taking care weight control trials.

중학생의 전통 식생활교육에 대한 인식 및 요구도 조사 (A study on the perception and needs of the Education of Korean traditional foods & culture in middle school students)

  • 본 연구는 중학교 기술 가정 교과를 통한 우리나라 전통 식생활 교육의 활성화 방안을 모색해 보고자 중학생들을 대상으로 학교 교육과정에서의 전통 식생활 교육의 실태와 인식 및 내용별 요구도를 알아보기 위하여 실시되었다. 본 조사대상 중학생은 학교에서 주로 기술 가정 교과를 통해 전통식생활 교육을 받고 있었으며, 학교 교육과정에서의 전통식생활 교육은 필요하며, 실생활에 도움이 많이 되는 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 전통식생활 교육의 교수 학습방법에 대한 조사결과, 현재 전통식생활 교육은 주로 강의식 설명위주로 진행되는 경우가 가장 많았으나 학생들은 좀 더 실천적인 교수 학습방법을 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 내용에 있어서도 실생활에 도움이 될 수 있는 내용의 교육이 이루어지질 바라고 있었다. 따라서 학교 교육과정을 통한 전통식생활 교육이 효과적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 현재 중학교 기술 가정교과 내 전통식생활 관련 내용 및 교수 학습방법이 실생활에 도움이 될 수 있는 내용과 학습자의 요구를 반영한 교수 학습 방법으로 수정 보완되어져야 할 것이다.

청소년을 위한 건강가정 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Healthy Family Education Program for Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of a healthy family education program for adolescents. Based on the literature review and an assessment of middle school students' and their parents' needs for the healthy family education, a healthy family education program was developed with four main parts: 'Forming a Happy Family', 'Developing Friendship with (Other Sex) Friends', 'Traveling into the World of Consumption', and 'Healthy Body, Healthy Minds.', In order to test the effectiveness of the program, 35 students from a middle school in Seoul were treated with the education program. The treatment group was compared to a control group before and after the treatment in terms of their attitude toward and knowledge in family healthiness. As a result, the developed program was found to have a positive effect on enhancing the attitude and knowledge of middle school students related to family healthiness.

중.고등학생의 가족 식사에 대한 인식과 태도 연구 (A Study on the Perceptions and Attitudes of Middle and High School Students towards Family Meals)

  • This study investigated the overall conditions related to family meals, including perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors, among middle and high school students. The data were collected from 773 male and female students attending middle and high schools in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do from March to May 2006, using pre-tested self-administered questionnaires. The results are as follows: 78.9% of the subjects lived with their parents and siblings, and 75.7% regarded family meals as meals eaten with all family members living together in a household. As for the frequency of family meals, 40.1% of the middle school subjects answered that they ate with their family 'more than once per day' and 20.8% answered '1 or 2 time per a week'. However 21.0% of the high school students had family meals 'more than once per day', and 31.7% had family meals '1 or 2 times per a week', showing a significant difference between the groups(p<0.001). When the degree of satisfaction with life was evaluated using a Likert scale(strongly satisfied 5 point, strongly unsatisfied 1 point), the middle school students showed a significantly higher level of satisfaction than the high school students towards daily life, health, nutritive conditions, and family care. feelings, attitudes, and behaviors toward family meals were also evaluated(strongly agree 5 point, strongly disagree 1 point), and the results showed that the subjects had positive psychological feelings, with significant differences based on the frequency of family meals. Likewise, the groups who ate frequent family meals scored higher on aspects related to having positive attitudes and behaviors toward the family meal, implying that eating family meals is associated with promoting friendship, psychological stability, and positive thinking in adolescents. These findings suggest that attention needs to he directed toward increasing the frequency of family meals and creating a positive family meal environment.

교육과정 재구성을 통한 학교성교육 효과에 대한 현장연구 (Field Research on the Effects of School Sex Education Using Reconstructed Curriculum)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the satisfaction level toward school sex education and its effect on character cultivation by reconstructing a unit, sex and health, included in the current health education curriculum. Methods: The study is a mixed research which utilized both two-way ANOVA & MANOVA methods, and qualitative content analysis. A total of 279 middle school students participated in the pre-test and the sex education program using the reconstructed curriculum. Then, a total of 253 participated in the posttest. Results: The results showed an increase in the satisfaction level toward school sex education (p<.05) and in character (p<.05) in both male and female students. There was no significant difference between male and female students. In the total test for character cultivation, there were no interacting effects between the test and gender (p>.05). Also, in the qualitative analysis, the program helped students to build character including self-care skills Conclusion: By revising the unit of sex and health to meet the needs and demands of the students, curriculum reconstruction increased the students' satisfaction and had a positive effect on their character cultivation.
